Ms. Ruth knows the human body and the different muscles, nerves, and the connections between them better than any massage therapist or doctor I’ve ever met. She has helped heal some severe pain and tension in my neck, shoulders, back, and sciatic in particular. She truly does “deep tissue,” and now that I go to receive her massage therapy monthly, she really knows my body and helps me build on the progress of pain relief from month to month. I could not recommend her more highly and her deep tissue work on me has been life-changing in reducing how much pain and tension I feel. Grateful.

Ruth is a lovely person and an amazing masseuse. I had a regular massage therapist before I moved to Maryland, and I have literally spent years looking for someone whose hands know what needs to be worked on. I found it here. The only problem is that I can never do a couples massage with my husband, because we cant decide who gets Ruth!

I dont recommend it. Massage was not good. To have them message with pressure they charge you an extra $20 otherwise they pretty much just rub lotion on your body. At check out they ask you about your experience, we both explained how we felt and said we had been to Massage Envy a few times and really enjoyed it and for this massage to cost the same amount and then be charged an extra $20 we were disappointed/upset. She offered us to return and she wont charge the extra $20, but I will never return here

Ruth is an amazing massage therapist! She truly has nurturing hands, lol. The whole right side of my body was nagging me (knee, hip, and oblique) from over-use through exercise and driving. Ruth was able to identify that the problem was with my sciatic nerve, and through her magic hands she was able to open up/loosen up/alleviate the tension I was feeling up and down the right side of my body!! I highly recommend her services!!!Her place is a little difficult to find since it is on the back corner of the Village Green shopping plaza. Parking is easy and plentiful, though.

Update: we changed our star rating because Ruth was quick to respond to our review and immediately addressed our concern and quickly wanted to rectify the visit. That says a lot about her care for the customer.My husband just called me to let me know he was already out from his message. Im pretty disappointed.We received your email and thought this would be a great gift for him after returning from Boy Scout Camp as a chaperone.He showed up to be told that the person he had would now be someone else not the name confirmed via message to him. And the massage itself was maybe 40 minutes even though the business site said 60.Extremely sad to hear this about his experience. Especially because our list visit awhile back went very well.

I found Nurturing Hanz Massage on Groupon in 2018 when I was pregnant. I had received 3 prenatal massages by other people and was disappointed in all of them until I came here. Ruth made me feel 100% relaxed and after our first encounter, I signed up to become a member. I have been seeing her once a month ever since and I look forward to it every time. I would definitely recommend Nurturing Hanz Massage to anyone/everyone I know!

I visited Nurturing Hanz using a Groupon about a year and a half ago, It was great! Ruth is amazing, I prefer deep tissue massage and it was exactly what I was looking for. After my initial visit I became a member and go once a month. I have done the 90 minute hot stone massage twice and it is a real treat in relaxation! Highly recommend Ruth and Nurturing Hanz!

Ruth is absolutely amazing! I reccomend her to anyone, especially those dealing with pain related to trauma as well as stressful jobs. I was so impressed with Ruths willingness to work with my hectic and chaotic schedule. I even sent my father to see her for body work as I knew she would treat him excellently. Quality work is worth the payment.

Does this establishment have a alternative number? Ive called multiple times in a matter of 3 days and have yet to get a response. I cant even schedule an appointment to even find out how their services are.

First off I have been to this establishment once before for a couples massage. The massage itself was good, however - the person giving the massage must have had a cold because the relaxing environment was ruined by constant sniffling.Secondly - I purchased a couples massage via Groupon for my girlfriend as a gift. After weeks of calling / leaving messages / phone tag with them - she finally got to speak with someone who told her she would not be able to use the groupon because we’ve been there before. Told us that we could use the groupon if we “upgrade” for an additional fee which we declined as there was no additional services for the upgrade. There is nothing in the groupon that says must be a first time customer. Description only states that you cannot use this Groupon within 12 months of each other.Tip to management:If you are going to sell a service on Groupon, you should:A. Make it very clear it is only for first time customers.B. Do not ask your potential clients to pay more on top of the groupon they have already purchased..If your company is not making any money off the groupon price, Increase the price on groupon - but asking your clients to “upgrade” for no additional services is a very bad experience.C. Finally, please figure out a scheduling method. Both times trying to schedule with your establishment has been a very unpleasant game of phone tag which wasted weeks of back and forth trying to schedule.Best of luck and hope you find this review helpful.

The staff was kind, but the place is small, the massage was not very good, and pricey. The rooms are claustrophobic and ultimately uncomfortable. This isnt really a good place based on the price, even the Groupon rate. I would not visit again.

HORRIBLE! This business is a SCAM! I purchased a gift card for a friend. The Ruth woman is customer service rep, masseuse, AND manager. She would not honor the gift card! I got no discount! I wasnt using Groupon. I paid regular standard price. SHUT THIS BUSINESS DOWN BBB! Im filing report with BBB and with Maryland Attorney Generals Office! Ruth you are shady and corrupt and evil. Your greed and evil corrupt ways willbe your downfall. Youre on Groupon now bc your business is caving and you are making no profits! It WILL get worse! Youre stealing from VETERANS AND SINGLE MOTHERS!
