I was in severe lower back pain, and had seen a chiropractor 4 times, with no results and a wrong diagnosis. I had one visit with Dr. Kristen Cooper and she figured out the true root of my issue in minutes. I have a bulging disc and now have a plan to correct! I woke up this morning for the first time in a couple month without a HUGE struggle. I would highly recommend her to everyone I know (or dont know)!

Her expertise in physical therapy, dry needling and theapeutic massage services are excellent. She always takes the time to offer reassurance when I need it. I can tell you she truly cares about her patients and she has made my recovery process a positive one knowing Im in the very best of hands. I highly recommend her for all her services. Thanks to her.

From Feb to Jun 17, I was a dry needling and physical therapy (PT) patient of Dr. Kristen Cooper for a diagnosis that was later termed a double crush (ulnar) nerve condition related to a degenerative spine (C6-C7) issue. This is my first ever social media post and is given based on the consistent positive and exemplary medical care I received. When I started PT with Dr. Cooper, I had not slept consistently for months due to daily pain in my arm and neck. At the first diagnosis, body alignment issues effecting posture and neck mobility were identified and baseline documentation was initiated that in time enabled my nerve specialist Dr to make a quick spinal diagnosis. Needling on neck, arm and bicep nerve points over the course of weeks provided immediate relief to pain (5+ on a 1-10 scale). Over weeks/months, needling, physical therapy exercises and candid medical advice resulted in pain relief and a shift to a specialist to administer a steroid shot to treat the neck degeneration issue. Over the course of treatment, Dr. Cooper was consistently available for medical advice and scheduling adjustments. In particular, her abilities to quickly zero in on nerve trouble spots during a needling session to maximize the time in a PT session set a precedent that I believe only a few dry needling professionals across the Nation could match while at the same time offering care and listening for patient feedback to ensure the needling was spot on/not problematic.Based on this care level, I am making my first ever social media post as a 55+ year old who is now managing pain based on the PT exercises I received from Dr. Cooper.Joe N., Annapolis, MD.

I was referred to Kristen by friends and was not disappointed. Kristen is extremely knowledgeable, takes time to understand the root causes, and gets to the right solutions. With her help, I am now back to happily doing activities and races that I had almost given up on. An easy Five Star rating.

I was recommended to see Kristen Cooper after trying 4 other PTs who could not help my injury or my pain. Dr. Cooper diagnosed the issue correctly in the first visit and has gone out of her way to help me. She has taught me strength exercises, core exercises, and self correction techniques to help in between my visits to her. Her dry needling technique is outstanding. She has squeezed me in for appointments when she really didnt have the time. She is caring, thorough and an expert in her knowledge of the human body. She helped me to run and bike again, two things I wasnt sure I would be able to do after my injury. I would highly recommend her.

After an injury and completing traditional physical therapy, dry needling with Dr. Kristen Cooper was suggested to improve my mobility. Apprehensive, but looking for relief, I decided to pursue this new line of therapy. I am so thankful that I did! Dr. Cooper is very skilled and shows true concern for her clients. As other posts have stated, easily a five star rating !

I came to Dr. Cooper a broken-down, overtrained and discouraged runner/athlete suffering from chronic injury/pain. I left my first visit feeling dramatically better than when I walked in, and, most importantly, I left with hope that I would be able to continue to participate in the kinds of physical activities I love. Dr. Cooper is exceedingly knowledgeable, incredibly skilled and I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. And on top of it all, she is one of the nicest and most caring people you will ever meet.
