Ive seen Dr. Dabbs no less than 6 or 7 times in the last 12 months. My primary health condition is Diabetes ( for the last 25 years) and Dr. Dabbs and his staff are truly a 5 Star team. I am almost embarassed by the amount of time Dr Dabbs is willing to spend with me. He never rushes and is a complete professional. If anyone is looking for an old school caring family physician, you found him. Where managed care forces doctors to rush from patient to patient, Dr Dabbs is the rare exception. He always takes the time to be thorough and courteous. His support staff is complimentary to his soft touch methods. I am thankful to him and his staff for steering me back to good health. Need a good Doctor? Here he is.

I did not have a good experience here, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Upon my new patient visit, I had a conversation with the Dr. Dabbs about some preexisting conditions I had been diagnosed with. Come to find out, when I received the bill, the office had charged me an extra visit because of the conversation we had. Not to mention, he gave me an EKG without mentioning that it was an added expense (found that out later on the bill too).When I asked the office to explain the charge, Mr. Dabbs responded with a hand-written letter (misspelling the word physician, your kidding me right? No, Im not.) explaining to me that, at the time of a physical/checkup, is not the time to bring up preexisting diagnoses, or conditions. To my reply was, when is a good time to mention these things, if not during the new patient checkup? Isnt that the point of going in for a visit? And, after all, its called a check-up.After calling several times asking them to remove the charge, they refused. Having no other options, I was left paying a fee that I did not authorize, nor did I anticipate.Need I say, I will not be going back. If a doctor is petty enough to charge for discussing a condition of health with me on a check-up visit, then he/she is not a doctor that I want caring for my well-being.Regards,

I havent had a family doctor in a long time. Im the guy who would always go to Patient First. Now that I am married and have a son, Im extremely glad we found Dr. Dabbs and his practice. What a great team!
