They strive for transparency, consistent care, and their office is incredibly warm and welcoming. They have been very cautious for their clients and team amidst the pandemic. If there is a waitlist upon inquiring…hang in there…they are doing all they can do provide the best care for you!

I have been working with a therapist at Anchored Hope for about 9 months now. I am so thankful the office was able to get me on his schedule within a couple of weeks of calling to set up an appointment. If I need to make a change in my therapy schedule, my therapist is very flexible. I’m so thankful I was placed with him, as I have made a lot of progress since my first session.

I contacted Anchored Hope as recommended by our pediatrician. Beyond the wait list hurdle phone tags etc. to qualify for therapy at Anchored Hope... I have suffered through immense communication issues between the owner and the admin. Staff to a point where I lost my trust in this place. What they tell.mw over the phone does not reflect on what i saw on e mail communication. Trust is utmost important in therapy. I do not believe this is the right place for me. I no longee trust in their word or e mails.I understand and appreciate they have helped many. Most likely more mainstream families. Clearly we did not make the cut. Luckily there are other places which may provide help for us.

I would highly recommend Anchored Hope Therapy to anyone. Their office is always welcoming, it can be a daunting time going to therapy but they make you feel at peace. During COVID-19 they really were able to shift gears to online therapy which has been a great and always accommodating to hit your needs. Thank you!

To be clear upfront, This is not a review of any service provided by Anchored Hope. It is my response to their email I received when requesting an appointment via their online portal.First, let me say it is not easy to decide to seek counseling. I did a great deal of research as to who I thought might be a good fit for me, and decided that I would start with Anchored Hope. They appeared to be very reputable, and had good reviews on their site. Having checked with my insurance carrier, I found that they were an in network provider, and all eleven practitioners were “accepting new patients.” Sounds good, right?I provided some background to what I was hoping to do in the appointment request. Again, not an easy task for me. Below is their verbatim response:“Thank you for your email and inquiry about therapy, and sharing some of what you have been experiencing. We do not have any immediate openings, but we can add you to our wait list and contact you with the first available daytime opening. New clients are offered daytime appointments only. Please note, we are only in network with CareFirst BCBS. All other insurance plans will be considered out of pocket. Please respond by THURSDAY 2/27/20, and don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.”So I guess “Accepting new patients” means if you are willing to go on a waitlist. Oh, and you have 48 hours to let us know if you want to join the waitlist. I guess I’m out of luck beyond that. And don’t even consider an evening appointment. And here is how you will pay us (even though I didn’t ask and couldn’t even get an appointment).This told me everything I needed to know. The most canned reply I think I have ever received. And from a counseling business. There are lots of other fish in the sea. I’ll find somebody that has a bit more class and respect. And who is honest about accepting new patients.
