I read all the reviews and was a little skeptical on whether I should take my Mother in law there. I know everyone had their own experience and opinions, but I was nothing but completely satisfied with our experience. The staff was very friendly and professional with us. The only reason it wasn’t five stars was because I wasn’t a fan of the self check in, even though that’s what this world is now all computer and very little personal interactions. Thanks ladies for what you do every day.

I agree with some of the comments stating it can be difficult to find. Finding it on maps first will help in that regard. The building is not well marked and if you end up in an adjacent parking lot they dont interconnect so you end up backtracking.... dont ask how I know that :). Once you find and enter the building LabCorp is on the third floor and there are elevators. I had a referral from the physician ( take it with you!) and registered online. They advertise no appt. but register online anyway. From arrival and registering at the kiosk ( even though I booked online) I was out in less than 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and they wipe down/sanitize between customers.

The front desk lady has an attitude. I tried to check in twice through the kiosk. I attempted to tell her that it didnt work and told me to go to the front desk for help, except she just waved at me to sit down. She finally called me after waiting 10 minutes only to say did you check in at the kiosk? Ummm are you serious lady? Then she proceeded to make a stink and tell me how much of a favor she was doing me by registering me herself. Gosh, poor thing. How dare I ask so much of her. Anyway, then she told me to go sit in a room, which was unnecessary because I was doing a urine test. The phlebotomist came in the room a minute later and told me to just go use the bathroom. In the background you can very loudly hear other staff complaining about doctors and their orders. Unprofessional.I will never be coming to this location again. Not worth the convenience.

My doctor sent me to this location to get some bloodwork or else I’d probably never come here. Firstly, it’s hard to find. Directions lead you to an office building but there’s no directions or even a directory of how to find LabCorp itself. I checked in 15 minutes early from my phone and waited in my car. As I was on my way inside to ask about it 30 minutes later, my notification came. When I finally found the office (on the third floor, you have to take the elevator) people were just standing and waiting in the hallway before you can even enter the office. I went into the office area as instructed via text but wasn’t greeted or given further instruction. I finally greeted the front desk representative and notified her that had received a text but still hadn’t been helped. After I was taken to the back the process was still slow and everyone looked like they absolutely hated their jobs. It breaks my heart because I know you’re essential and this is very hard but you’re also in a field that’s very nerve wrecking. Getting blood drawn, needles, visiting doctors can cause a lot of anxiety and that shouldn’t be met with rudeness after a 45 minute wait. I didn’t mind my technician too much but she was so short that she didn’t introduce herself for me to acknowledge my gratitude for her work. I might try edgewater or drive a bit further if my doc needs bloodwork again.

Yesterday, My mother and I were very pleased with the professional and efficient nature of the staff. We were greeted when we arrived and told how to check in and so forth. Although the waiting room was filled, the woman working the front desk was able to move the patients along efficiently. Once my mother was called she was met with more friendliness from another member of the staff. I would recommend this location for lab work for anyone needing this service. Keep up the great work.

Terrible experience all the way around. I had an appointment, which apparently was meaningless because they appeared to be calling people randomly. Actually, I shouldnt say meaningless - they would yell at the people without appointments to defend their occasional decision to call first someone with an appointment. I waited over an hour, even with my appointment. The staff was rude, the process was total chaos, and when I finally got my blood drawn, it hurt. I have a high pain threshold and usually dont mind blood draws a bit. The person who took my blood was kind. But that is the only good thing I have to say about this experience. I will not be back.

Two terrible experiences there within 1 month.First: I went with a lab Slip from my doctor to get CBC and thyroid blood work done.My doctor called me a week later that they only drew my blood for the CBC and did not do the thyroid.I called Lab Corp. and the woman acknowledged that it was an error on their part and I could come back to get my blood drawn again.Annoying yes, but not the end of the world.Second experience (deal breaker):I brought my one year old in for her 12 month routine lead blood work. I wrongly assumed they would have a pediatric phlebotomist. Or at least someone with experience drawing blood from babies. The phlebotomist was extremely aggressive and rough with my one year old, and begins to tell me very roughly and loudly how I need to hold her still, which I was. Then she proceeds to stick a large needle into her arm and can’t find a vein because she’s one year old! Meanwhile she’s raising her voice and practically yelling. She finally realizes she doesn’t have a vein and takes the needle out. Then she calls another woman over to do it and she does the exact same thing!Sticks another needle into her arm and barely gets any blood out and you could tell she didn’t know what the heck she was supposed to do.By that point my baby is screaming her lungs out and I firmly tell them to please stop and that we’re not continuing because my baby can’t take anymore jabs. The woman then tells me how next time I need to “make sure that whoever draws her blood, lays her down because it’ll be easier that way”.Are you kidding me?Well, there won’t be a next time.Completely traumatized my baby. Not to mention, the intake lady was talking very badly about another patient 15 feet away to her coworker. Then rolls her eyes and says “thank god it’s Friday”And it seemed like all of the front desk people were especially impatient and cruel to the elderly patients. The whole place needs to be investigated. If anything, please don’t bring your babies there.

I have always had pretty fast wait times, 5-20 minutes max. Never made an appointment. I am a hard stick (normally takes multiple people, and sometimes being told to try a different office) but they normally get me on the first try here. Staff has always been friendly. Lots of chairs in the waiting room and they are comfortable.

I took my 3 year old to this location for bloodwork today. We went around 9:30 with no appointment. We were in and out in about 30 mins. The person who checked us in was efficient and treated us well. The two women who took his blood were phenomenal. This was the first time he has ever had blood drawn and I had no clue what to expect from him or them. They helped me explain to him what to expect and comforted him throughout. When all was said and done, he gave us a quick ouch and that was as big of a deal as it became. He had just a tiny mark from the needle and at the end of the day, he told me he liked going to the doctor this morning.

This location opens earlier than many others (in addition to being close to my home) which is why I chose it. I have used this location before and have noticed long waits are a problem as it I arrived at 0745 for a 0815 appointment. On the date of my appointment This location was seriously understaffed. There was only one staff member managing all aspects of the office when I arrived. She was processing personnel and when asked informed waiting personnel that the wait beyond appointment time might be as long as an hour to an hour and a half. Several individuals on hearing that left immediately. One left after complaining that Lab Corps should notify individuals if there is an extensive wait beyond appointment time. Two additional employees arrived around 0820. I was done and back in my car by 0835 so not horribly off schedule but I was very glad I arrived 1/2 hour before my appointment. The actual blood draw and processing all went quickly and with no problem.

This LabCorps on Generals Highway in Annapolis was great. I made an appointment online to get blood drawn for standard lab tests for a physical from my doctor. I will definitely come back to this location. Thanks!

I cant even begin with this place, but Ill do my best. Every blood draw Ive ever had has left an issue ranging from bruising up and down my arm to a giant bubble blister on my arm. Dont even bother if youre a walk-in. Even for specimen drop offs you need to make an appointment that they will still be 30 minutes late on. Staff are rude and curt. Just go somewhere else. Their receptionists are notoriously rude. I don’t know where they find the worst people to be the face of the company. Just called twice and both times a Christina answered. When I said I would like to schedule a blood test, she hung up on me TWICE without saying anything at all. The third time someone else answered and told me that they do not schedule tests at this location and she could give me a different number to call. Is it that difficult to say? Like what is this Christina doing there? She is hurting LabCorp more than she is helping it, and I can’t believe she gets paid to do it.

This is the slowest LabCorp that I have been to and I have been to several. It does not matter if you make an appointment, plan to wait at least 30 minutes to begin getting checked in, then another 15 to get checked in, and then more to get the actual bloodwork completed. If you make an appointment at other LabCorp’s, you are checked in and bloodwork is done within 10 minutes. I have been to this one several times and it is the same every time. They do not seem to care to improve on their customer service.

There are two big choices LabCorp and Quest. This was my first experience with this place and never again. I walk in, the woman (bleach blonde, apparrently she has some clout there) looked at me as though I was bothering her. So instead of greeting me, I get stared at in a what do you want manner. After a few eye rolls and head shakes she says sit at two. The woman at two needed her to allow a transaction with her password. She sat and ignored us both for about two minutes. Then, she hacked away at the keyboard and one more eye roll for good measure. NEVER AGAIN!!The place needs to be revamped some of the staff included. If you enjoy being treated like a bother then this place is your spot!

I think if you die and go to hell, this exact labcorp office is one of the places there you have to visit. its AWFUL. The admin never even turned around to look at me when I talked to her. she just told me to take a seat. then I waited for 35 minutes while she blew me off whenever I would politely ask for an update and explain I had to get back to work if this wasnt a good time (although the place was empty.) The other staff there was condescending and rude, and at one point even insulted my intelligence. To add insult to injury, the admin eventually told me she wasnt even sure if they could send these results to my doctor. Also the place is filthy. If you like being treated like a prison inmate at Guantanamo, youll love this place. check it out!

Im 23 and have an extreme phobia of needles. Ive visited this location twice and my phlebotomist (different each time) have been AMAZING. In these situations, I make sure the staff and phlebotomists know that I am prone to fainting and they make sure I have a booth where I can lay down and take my time to relax before I get back up. The phlebotomists have been extremely patient and kind to me each time. They are extremely quick with their draws and come up with clever ways to distract those with anxiety. I would highly recommend this practice to those with needle fears. As far as the appointments, I enjoy being able to make an appointment online, it makes the process so much easier. The appointments are usually quick, so its not a long wait. I have had some issues with the appointment technology, but I blame that on the corporate online system, rather than the staff. If you let the staff know youve been waiting over 15 mins from your appointment time, they will correct it and make sure youre next.Highly recommend. Understanding staff. Experienced phlebotomists. And if you have anxiety, let them know and they will take care of you.

Showed up for a walk in appointment. Signed in and was the only one waiting for ten minutes. Two other people showed up after me and were called back prior. I asked the women at rhthe front desk, Debra, if I was ever called and she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said she had already called me twice and I had to sit down and wait. I dont mind waiting but dang, I am not sure if she was whispering when she called me but why would I not respond when she called me back, I also have things to do and dont want to sit in a labcorp waiting room all day. She could also clearly see me sitting there. Anyways, the other technician I saw was fine, Lynae (probobly misspelled), but Debra.... quite an ignorant lady.
