My son worked with Kate in 2019 (when he was 5), to address a lisp he had that wouldn’t have met the threshold for services through school.Kate explained her reasoning for intervening earlier, before he lost his front teeth, and it was absolutely amazing to me what they accomplished together in just a few months!His lisp essentially disappeared— when I go back and watch videos of my son from before then, the difference is incredible, and you’d never guess now that he had a lisp then.Even more important to me was the overall experience. My son LOVED going to see Kate. He always wanted to keep playing after their sessions, and everything was framed as a game (including take-home materials) so he never resented it or felt like anything was wrong with him.Kate also lived up to her business name by communicating really kindly and clearly with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, etc. I felt both included but also empowered to hang back and let my son take responsibility for his efforts.Thank you again Kate for your excellent, efficient, and enjoyable work with us!

We were fortunate enough to meet Kate when our child was 19 months old and struggling with her speech. Kates services have been invaluable to our family. Kate made a connection with our child during the first visit and continued to build upon that in future sessions. The progress we have seen has been remarkable, and we have learned a great deal about how we, as parents, can help our childs communication develop. We would highly recommend Kates services.

My child has seen Kate for about a year now. Kate quickly identified the issue, clearly communicated her plan to address it, and then orchestrated her plan in a fun way. She believed my child needed to take ownership of the therapy process in order to progress and she effectively convinced my child of that fact. She never suggested office visits beyond what was necessary and we felt our time and money was well spent. My childs speech has improved and, most importantly, we have a roadmap to continue the improvement. Overall, we were very impressed.

Kate was very positive and engaged with our child in a number of sessions. She quickly built a rapport so that our child looked forward to play time with Kate and didnt feel like speech sessions were something unpleasant. Its hard to know whether an intervention helps or if speech improves with age, but we noticed a significant improvement not long after starting to work with Kate, and wed recommend her to anyone who needs help with speech issues.

Kate helped us with our 5 years old for over a year and half. She was very patient with him from day one till the end. She made the experience fun and enjoyable.
