I am one week post op from my in office procedure done by Dr.Ballard. From my first phone call with Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery till the end of my journey it has all been amazing. All of the staff is warm, fun, friendly, and know how to make you feel as comfortable as can be! Dr.Ballard is so talented with her work and I highly recommend going to her to anyone! She explained the whole process to me before and during my procedure to ensure I knew what was happening at all times. Christina the patient care coordinator is amazing as well, she made me feel so comfortable and made sure I was prepared for my post op care. Everything was super easy, fun, and comfortable.

Went here to get a labiaplasty. The introduction to it was very informative and very helpful. They go through any questions you have and give great feedback. Also listen intently to how you want your results to look. The surgery day was smooth and easy, they were observant to make sure I was comfortable and ready. Surgery went quick, took about an hour. Didn’t feel a single thing. Only time I felt pain (burning and stinging sensation) was when the numbing wore off and pain lasted for a few hours and subsided a lot quicker than I thought it would. Keeping an ice pack on it helped with the swelling and pain a lot. Didn’t even need any medication by the second day, ice packs were enough for the pain. Only irritation I had was slight itching and sensitivity near stitched areas. By the third day I was able to sit and walk comfortably and didn’t have any signs of bleeding anymore. Dr. Ballard and Christina were amazing and I was very comfortable with them. Couldn’t have asked for better doctors and Dr.Ballard did an amazing job with the surgery and I’m already loving the results 1 week post op.

I first seen Dr. Ballard in 2019 to have a leaking implant replaced; wound up pregnant so she drained them. Then the pandemic hit, I was finally able to get them replaced summer of 2021. She and her entire staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the long process. I would definitely recommend her, and see her again in the future if needed.

I had an amazing experience working with Dr. Ballard and her staff including the surgical team she uses.After having 7 children and gaining a great deal of weight, I set about to become healthier and happier. After losing over 100 lbs. and running and working out religiously, I was still unhappy with how my body looked. The loose extra skin on my abdomen did not reflect the hard work I had put in to transform myself.Dr. Ballard gave me that with an abdominoplasty and I could not be happier with the results! She listened to what I wanted and felt I needed without pushing me for anything extra. I am so happy I chose Ann Arbor plastic surgery and Dr. Ballard for my tummy tuck. The whole staff has been wonderful to work with. I am so happy that I received a referral from a friend to AA Plastic Surgery and was lucky enough to work with Dr. Ballard and her team for my mommy makeover. First, the experience leading up to my first visit with nurse Shelley was amazing. She got to know me and understood my goals and concerns so she could debrief Dr. Ballard before our first appointment. The office vibe is so welcoming, it is a beautiful facility with lots of natural light and the staff is great. Dr. Ballard made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole process, she is so professional but being a mom herself makes it so easy to talk with her about your goals. I felt well prepared before surgery, during and in post-op so I could heal quickly and start to get back to my normal routine. After looking at many, many places and so many before and after photos of tummy tucks I decided that Dr. Ballard was who I wanted to consult with. Her and her staff made me feel right at home from the moment I walked through the door. During my consult I shared with her that I didnt have any hopes of ever wearing a bikini or crop top again but just wanted to feel comfortable in clothing without excess tummy skin from having two kids. I was completely wrong about that, if we werent going into winter in MI I would be showing the midriff off to everyone. She is a true artist. Her and her team have been there for every step of the journey and I look forward to working with them for more upgrades in the future.

I was very, very nervous when looking for a surgeon to perform my surgery. I wanted to make sure the doctor and office I chose were professional, skilled, friendly and accommodating. Dr. B and staff were nothing short of amazing! I am SO happy I chose them and I would highly, highly recommend any one else to try them out. At the very least, have a consult. Shelley the nurse is great and very informative. Also, the office is extremely clean and well kept, this made me feel comfortable during surgery and post op visits. I called Dr. B a couple of times after hours and she was so nice and helpful. Definite 5 star rating from me! :)

I had a consultation with Dr Ballard and Botox. My results are natural which is exactly what I requested. She was very thorough during my consultation. I asked several questions and she answered each of them putting my mind at ease. The office is awesome as well. Great experience overall !

I wanted to share my thoughts in regards to Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery, but specifically Dr. Ballard. I have spent almost 28 years with a tummy I hated after the first of my first child. I’ve hated this part of my body and have always been very insecure about it. It had affected my confidence for far too long. I’ve wanted this surgery for a few decades but always had a reason why I shouldn’t do it. I am almost 46 and finally made the decision to do something for me and boy am I happy I did. I am beyond ecstatic about my results. Dr. Ballard worked her magic with her amazing skills to uncover the stomach I’ve always wanted and hoped for. She is talented and was truly in tune with me and my expectations. I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone and everyone. I want to thank Dr. Ballard for such a wonderful job but also thank her nurse, Shelley who was compassionate and excited for me. I felt welcomed and cared for at each visit. Dr. Ballard has changed my life forever! I received a tummy tuck with muscle repair and liposuction. Her team and nurse Shelley made certain that I was comfortable every step of the way. I have been researching plastic seurgeons for about 1.5 years.! My friend recommended me to Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery. I wanted a mommy makeover, so upon calling, Mina recommended Dr. Ballard. I then received a call from her nurse Shelley Woolley, a couple of days later. At first my consultation wouldve been until December 2020, however she was able to get me in on November 24th. Lets just say I fell in love with both Shelley and Dr. Ballard.! They are very nice and welcoming. Fast forward, my surgery was on December 8th 2020. I was very nervous, but every one at the surgical center made me feel at ease. I had to contact Dr. Ballard the following evening after hours, and she answered, and answered my questions of concern. I called the office like a million times lol... but they were always there for me, and answered my emails right away. Fast forward to today. I am one month and 12 days post op. Lets just say that I am beyond happy with my results so far.!! I had a breast lift with implants and lipo. I can not wait until they settle all the way... oh and the pain in my breast only lasted for 4 days.! Sorry for the long review, but I am so happy I chose them... and Shelley and Dr. B rocks!! 😁💜

From the moment I called to schedule my consultation I was confident and comfortable with my choice to have Dr. Ballard to do my breast augmentation and labiaplasty. I was very nervous going into the surgery Dr. Ballard covered everything from anesthesia, medications, recovery etc, she was very thorough in explaining everything that I would go through before and after my surgical procedure.I Felt extremely comfortable knowing that I would be going to an outpatient surgical center at St. Mary’s to have my surgery done. Not a in office surgical room that some places offer.Dr. Ballard performed my surgery on a Friday and I was able to reach her by phone Saturday and Sunday to discussed by medication she always called me back within five minutes of getting my message. My results are absolutely amazing I would recommend her to any woman that is thinking about doing any surgical procedure she’s a perfectionist in her field.I’ve had zero issues fantastic results and have recommended her to everyone I know.Thank you Dr. Ballard!

I was so very nervous when i went in for my appointment. I had shelly as my contact person and she was amazing with everything. I went in for a consult on a breast lift and augmentation. When i first meet shelly and dr. Ballard they where awesome, they calmed my fears and answered all of my questions. The day of surgery i was a nervous wreck, dr. Ballard assured me that everything would be ok. Well needless to say i am so so happy with my results.
