I was sent a bill for something that was already paid. Not just once but a double bill. They attempted to send my insurance company a duplicate bill with a different claim number on it. My insurance company caught this and when they sent back the dispute, it was then double billed to me. Isnt this fraudulent? Also, my insurance provider sent me a list of negotiated amounts and come to find out they actually owe me $1090. When I called to resolve this, I got a foreign call center of someone I could not understand, only to say the bill was sent in error and it would take 60-90 days to get this resolved. So even trying to do the right thing by paying the bill before the insurance resolved this is now taking time and money to resolve. My service was done at St.Joe Mercy and this is a company that Trinity Health uses. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

I paid the first bill I received and then got a past due notice later. Double checked dates on both old and new bills as well as the date the money was debited from my account. Happy to communicate the account number if you need proof.

Ive never been to the Dr or hospital at this place and just got a collection bill for $2,198 on my credit report. Needless to say I filed a fraud alert today. Made my score drop 55 points, grrrr

Terrible customer service! When I asked what this was regarding they wouldn’t provide me the information I needed to correctly bill my insurance company. I asked another question, they did not answer my question and proceeded to tell me they are leaving this on my credit report as refusal to pay and hung up the phone on me. This place should not be in business!

Just a warning to wait for your explanation of benefits before you pay your bill! I was billed $442 after my insurance paid of $583. When my EOB arrived it stated i only owed $145. This is not the first time this has happened. I think they need to re-train their billing department. If I have had this happened twice how many elderly have paid their bill without questioning the total :( Shame on you

Erroneously billed with invalid procedure codes. Customer Service, including supervisors, were useless in discussing the matter. Paid the bill to move on and avoid the stress and hassle.

They sent me a bill from 2014 in 2019. I contacted my then insurance and they paid the bill. I dont know why they didnt bill my insurance in 2014. After my insurance paid the bill in May of 2019, they added it to my credit as derogatory 6 months later. I pay for prepaid legal services and I intend on using it. This company will be reported to the BBB also.

Im glad I happened to look at the other reviews before calling EPMG about my situation. I just got a call from a collection agency on a medical bill that I paid ten months ago. When the collection agency realized my address was not in a state they service, they said I had to call EPMG. Now Ill be sure to have all my documentation in hand before arguing with them.

EPMG billed me as a result of a hospital stay. They failed to bill my insurance which would have paid 100% as I had no deductible as a result of the the hospital bills. Once it got to a point where it was too late to bill insurance DHS said they would cover it. Once again EPMG failed to send the bill, to DHS. Three years ago DHS gave them a 2nd opportunity but DHS never heard from them. I personally have not heard from them or anyone representing them since 2015, yet EPMG just placed a derogatory note on my credit report. This companys billing department is very unorganized and clueless as to what they are doing (or not doing).

Received a notice from these people regarding an unpaid bill that my insurance declined from an ER doctor. Apparently, my ER doctor billed me separately from the actual hospital, so the $150 I paid out of pocket at the time meant nothing...Even though the bill that my insurance did pay, and the bill amount I supposedly owed, were exactly the same. (IE, Im being double charged for something). As a bonus, theres no record of EPMG trying to submit a claim to my insurance. I tried to explain this and the woman said I needed to stop arguing.

How do I get collection on my credit report? I have insurance and it was billed Everytime I used your services!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! Ill have to dispute your bill and Im sure itll take forever to be removed from my credit report.

Horrible customer service, basically told me they billed me twice and because i didnt follow up or receive bill they turned me into collection. I asked why my insurance was not billed as it was billed for the hospital portion and the rep stated she doesnt know sometimes that just happens and because i didnt respond to the two billing statements sent to me i was responsible and it was to late to bill insurance. I think it is wrong on behalf of the hospital to hire someone to bill for physician chargers but not give the information needed for billing.

I currently have a bill pending with this group by my insurance. Never did any work with them. Will be calling and asking why they are charging my bcbs. Will report.

Scammiest of the scammy. These clowns send PAID bills to debt collectors regularly. I have copies of CASHED checks and they still send it to debt collectors 4 years later.
