I was just quoted a wapping $31,500 for the deformulation of a single sample of household glass cleaner that is no longer sold or manufactured. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Has this company lost its freaking mind? So ridiculous!!

While working with this company on a deformulation project, the staff was very cooperative and responsive. They kept me well informed throughout the whole project and delivered the technical report to me on-time with more details than I was seeking. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for this industrys services.

I was given this companys number, and a specific scientists name, from another testing lab that was unable to perform the ASTM certification test my employer needed. Three calls to Avomeen were not returned. The gentleman was always on another call. I left voice mail with specific detail each time. The fourth time I called I was told the gentleman was in a meeting; did I want his voice mail? I explained he had 3 of my messages over the last 5 days in his voice mail already, and asked if there was someone else more available/responsive to quote me for the job. Amazingly enough, at that point, I was offered to be put on hold because - what do you know - the meeting was an informal one and he would be with me momentarily. After 2 minutes I hung up. Either they have horrid people skills or are uninterested in the work. They were not courteous enough to tell me that they were not taking on new clients, or were uninterested in quoting me.

The Avomeen webpage was very accessible and nicely laid out, with indications of how much time it would take and clear directions on how to format the answers.
