Dr. Edelmann is caring, compassionate and an excellent listener. Very good at explaining conditions and solutions in a clear, simple fashion. He also tells you when you are doing great at taking care of your health. Staff is terrific and respond to needs immediately. Love that I can get a same day appointment or call back from the doctor and never have to wait more than a minute in the office!

Dr Edelmann, Sandy, Paula, and Kari are amazing staff. I love the family feel to the practice and I always have accessibility to either Dr. Edelmann or his staff after hours. It’s nice to have such a reliable and welcoming doctors office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Edelmann for nearly 30 years. He is a very thorough physician and understands my medical issues as well as my psychology and the way I deal witth my health. He is very perceptive and understanding. My wife recently became a patient as well, and she is highly impressed with his understanding of hte whole person. Iam also impressed with the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff. Appointments are always prompt. I just had my second annual MDVIP health assessment and spent an hour with Dr. Edelmann going over everything in detail. If you want a highly skilled family-type physician who also has a specialty in geriatrics, Dr. Edelmann will be an excellent choice.

I have been seeing Dr. Edelmann for many years (25+) and have always found it to be a positive experience. Since he affiliated with MDVIP I have particularly appreciated the thorough and informative annual wellness exams. I just had my second annual review and after each of them I have come away with a couple to dos and an answer to all my questions which has allowed me to better understand things in the medical world generally and how it all applies to me.

Ever since Mark left, the office has gone downhill. Its hard to get in quickly. The PA that works there now has no skills on how to treat and talk to the patient.I have a new Doctor now.

Berated me for calling him, out of hours, because his office staff did not process my prescription that I submitted 3 days ago. Ive now gone 3 days without my daily medication, which Ive been taking for 20yrs.Edelmann is now charging an additional $1800 a year for personalized medicine.

This is a wonderful office, practical advice, nice nurses, they do blood tests on site so you dont have to make an extra trip to a lab. Theyll always fit you in same day. Every doc Ive encountered there could not be nicer.

Dr. Edelmanns manner drips with confrontational arrogance and self-importance. He proudly forces patients to come into his practice far more often than is recommended by any set of health practice guidelines. The only reason I rated his practice at one star is because I was unable to rate it any lower.

I just left my first appointment at this office, and I can confidently say I will never come back. I wasn’t sure if I was being too critical, but after reading the other reviews, that were congruent with my experience, I can say that the negative reviews on here, are spot on. Dr. Edelman acted as if I was a burden, and rushed me through the visit as fast as possible. He even went to as far as to say “don’t push your luck” when I tried to ask him a brief question about a separate issue not related to this specific appointment. When I asked him to clarify what he meant by that he said “you’re here to discuss moles. If you want to talk about other things make another appointment.” Wow. Never in my life did I feel such a lack of confidence in an entire office staff. All I can say is, do not look past the negative reviews about this office. I highly recommend seeking other options.

The staff here are friendly and professional. The Dr.s take the time to answer all my questions and are thorough. The office hours meet my needs. I would miss them and the care they have offered if I ever had to change to another Drs office.

Have been going to this office for years and I always feel the warmth of the staff and it feels more like family. Sandy is always so nice and always asks about my daughter, Pete is incredibly nice and well educated, and Dr. Mark truly listens to your concerns.

Bills insurance wrong. If u have sleeping problems it will be billed as psychological and goes toward deductible instead of copay.... 1st time ever I got a 128$ bill from doctors office ... AND paid copay.Not a good doctor anyway. Office staff is rude and very uneducated.

Dr. Karl Edelmann recommended a friend of mine for a Medical Marijuana card in a Walled Lake Marijuana Dispensary back in November 2016. My friend needed a letter from the doctor for court/judge and the doctor will not do anything about it.....I may be wrong because my friend called the dispensary and they said the doctor is too busy. That was the phone number and address that Dr. Edelmann used in the Medical Marijuana application. I see he is really in Ann Arbor.I believe if you sign a paper to recommend the medical usage of marijuana, you should stand behind your signature. Now, my friend does not know what to do....

Office staff is nice, but Dr Edelmann was extremely unpleasant to see. After explaining my symptoms to him he asked “well... what do you want to do about it?” I awkwardly suggested what i might do and then he wrote me a script. All while he was staring at my chest.

Many of the reviews are not fair. I see reviews that complain about the membership fee to MDVIP. The membership costs $1800 per year and it includes a comprehensive physical exam every year. Before Dr. Edlemann joined MDVIP, you would have to wait weeks to see him, like most typical Doctors. Now i can come in same day or next day for any reason. I can spend up to a full hour with him and and never feel rushed. Once you enter the office, your taken to your room and Dr. Edelmann is there in a minute or less. Its true health care just like many years before. I see bad reviews because people are complaining about the MDVIP annual membership. They are complaining because they most likely can not afford the membership fee. I praise Dr. Edelmann for making the choice to switch to MDVIP. Dr. Edelmann has made the choice to offer true medical care. For others to leave bad reviews just because they can not afford the expense to join is not a valid review in my opinion. So if you are not financially secure you may not want this Dr. I can understand that, but to leave a bad review because of that is somewhat malice. below is my original review.I have been going to this Doctor for over 20 years and never had a single issue. No billing problems ever, Dr Eddleman is very kind, they get you in very fast, the office is always clean and everyone is working hard.Some of these other peoples reviews in no way reflect an accurate description of how this Doctors office truly is.

They cancelled my yearly physical a couple weeks before (someone there quit), and robo calls me nonstop with ridiculous announcements. After the first physical they called me after saying they needed bloodwork and forgot to do it while I was there, and then called me again to say oops nevermind. - beware of this place.

My family has been patients of Dr Edelmann and his staff for over twenty years. You will not find a more caring and professional set of physicians! Dr. Edelmann will take as much time as you need to assist you with your medical concerns, and his diagnoses and treatments have always been spot on!

I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Edelman. He wants $1800 a year to stay with his practice on top of insurance payments, its like a Costco membership fee to just to have the privilege of calling him your primary care physician.
