I have been under the care of Dr Israel Hodish and the endocrinology clinic for the last 6 months. I’m writing this review because the care I have received from the doctor and the clinic have been exceptional. I found him to be very kind, knowledgable and he is dedicated to helping me find solutions to my condition. I have never felt rushed and he explains things thoroughly making sure I understand them. His office and team reverberate this excellent quality of care.In a medical system where I have often felt like a number, Dr Hodish has renewed my faith and brought humanity back to the practice of medicine. I have found a place where not only my health but my feelings are considered with great care.
Dr. Hodish is very crass, very dismissive and can apparently see an endocrine issue simply by observing a patient visually. He ordered 4 labs that had already been done and sent me back to my PCP. My PCP ran a full endocrine panel and found SEVERAL results outside of normal ranges. When I called Dr. Hodish to inform him of the abnormal test results, he did not speak to me and told the nurse to tell me that I am fine and nothing is wrong. So back to my PCP I go with a whole list of symptoms and abnormal test results because of his God complex.
Dr Hodish and staff have been nice , and it is appreciated . I would recommend Dr Hodish to anyone. But they need to take down the address of Eisenhower Parkway since he is at Domino Farms it is confusing . And i have seen the Dr at the U of M hospital so this needs to be clarified .
