I enjoy Rachel and Andrews expertise with management of my hair, and them as wonderful, engaging people. The esthetics of their new place is very pleasing, & welcoming. I highly recommend. Their studio is the next driveway if you are headed west on Jackson past Fresh Forage. The sign is really nice but easily missed since it is more ground level & not bright colors to catch your eye as you are driving.

After my amazing appointment with Andrew I recommended my mom & then took all three kids. Service is always fantastic & everyone looked phenomenal. It might be the best my moms hair has ever looked. My girls & I have very long hair & we will be able to keep it looking beautiful with their expertise. Prices are very reasonable & the wealth of information & products is staggering. You are in great hands with Andrew & Rachel & a visit to their salon feels like you are at a spa. One of the most relaxing & beautifully decorated places Ive ever been. As a first-timer at Karma, I was very impressed with the haircut & style I received. Andy was so open and kind during our conversations. When he was styling my hair it was so relaxing, I could’ve fallen asleep. I was also incredibly impressed with the cleanliness of the salon, including the public restroom! It was the safest I’ve felt at any appointment I’ve been to during the pandemic. After years of searching around Ann Arbor for a local stylist, I’ve finally found one that I know I’ll visit again!

Rachel and Andrew are great stylists whove been around Ann Arbor for over 20 years. What a great Salon they have to provide a comfortable, clean, welcoming, safe, socially distanced, and superb experience. This is an upscale salon with a neighborhood feel without all the pretentious bougie dribble.

Karma Hair Studio is a calm and spacious salon which Juliana and the other stylists have fitted out elegantly and thoughtfully and have gone to great lengths to be Covid-19 safe. Juliana is a hair genius. I cant recommend highly enough.

Hands Down the Best place to get a hair cut, after going here I will not go anywhere else I will be a customer for life Andy treats you like you are family and he will not disappoint, Great conversations as well which is a bonus. Andrew and Rachel are great hairdressers and amazing people. They know what theyre doing with haircolor and have been in the business for a while. They listen to what you want and make recommendations based on what you want, not what they want for you. If something isnt right for you, theyll let you know but always have a back up plan. I would highly recommend them!

Andy is a marvel with short hair. With long hair, Im happy to go to just about anyone. Even if theres a mistake, its easy enough to fix. Short cuts though... if theres no length, there is no room for error.I started seeing Andy after a tragic trim on a short cut. In the time Ive been going to him (over a year), hes given me many reliable trims, some excellent highlights, and now a series of cuts to help me grow out my pixie without resorting to six months of hats. Ive never had so many good haircuts in a row.Highly recommend!
