I signed up my 12 week old puppy for training. It was a great experience for both of us. Joan is amazing with the dogs and I look forward to more sessions.

JoAnn is incredible and really knows her stuff. She and her staff are very patient and take lots of time to help you and your dog bond, as well helping you understand your dog better and the process that youre going through with them.This is a great place for learning at any level for you and your dog. I highly recommend Pack Leader for your puppy and dog training.

Great place to bring your dog for training. We are pleased with the progress our German Shepherd is making. We also like the fact that our 11 yr old child can help train with my wife.

Update 12/15/20: just popped back in to say hello to the trainer that sparked my dog training passion. Joann is delightful as usual and operating with social distancing and masks. I felt beyond safe and it was fantastic to see all the new puppies working their way into OE1! I just love watching how Joann works patiently with each owner and dog to maximize each teams success! I love being part of the PLB family!I cannot express just how fortunate I am to have found Joann and her excellent training. In 6 sessions of puppy class my 5 mo. old puppy Rico has earned his AKC Star Puppy Award! We have now graduated into OE1 and Im excited to see how far we can go! Joann is exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. Beyond happy with Pack Leader Behavior and Training and would highly recommend Joann to anyone seeking training.

The other day in Joanns class; she came up with such a out-of-the-box game for all the owners to play with their dogs!It was so simple, yet had such an extreme impact. So much so that I apply it to my daily life. (And thats just from 15 minutes of one class! Just imagine what an entire month consists of!)Get your dog to put their front right paw on this sticky note. Without manipulating their bodies.It not only was such a fun activity for the dogs and owners, it also helped the owners truly get to know their dogs.Today I thought to myself, I wonder how I can get my dog to stand on my front feet?So I did it and ever since that one class, my understandment of how my dog as an individual works has sky rocketed. We share an inseparable bond and she makes me laugh more than I ever have before. that is because of joanns teachings.My dog also LOVES to follow commands.She teaches the owners how to communicate and enjoy life to the fullest with their dogs.If you are looking for advice, help or a good trainer.Give Joann a call.No shock collars.No choke chains.No prong collars.No harsh leash corrections.Joann is better than that.Positive reinforment and scientifically proven methods only!Give pack leader behavior and training a chance.You wont regret it and your dog will love you even more for it!No dog is too much for Joann to handle.And no dogs will be turned away.She is the best!

Joann and team are AMAZING. I’ve been brining my pup Phoebe here and I must say, the first two classes were tough just because as a brand new owner you know nothing about training but they do an awesome job at teaching you really easy effective ways of training your dog and it works!! After just 3 weeks I noticed a huge improvement in our pup and we will continue coming back here as long as we can :) thank you so much Pack Leader for everything!!

Great value for training a dog. $100 for a month and attend up to 3 classes a week. Joann is very knowledgeable and great with the dogs. We’ve learned so much already about how to work with our dog at home. We learn new things to practice each time we attend a class and have seen progress right away.

My shelter pup and I started going to the obedience level 1 training a few weeks ago. My sweet girl is much different than the other dogs in class because she is fearful of other people and dogs. JoAnn has been wonderful in helping me work with Rosie on her obedience and socialization skills. We are going to continue attending as much as possible because it is very affordable!

I love this place and so glad I found Joann from the Google reviews. Our lab puppy and I love going here and we drive just over an hour each way, twice a week for her classes. I could not be happier!

I havent actually been here. I will say that I have made two email inquiries and received no response. I ended signing up with a trainer 25 miles from home.

The trainer that came to our house was very knowledgeable, however the follow- up I am not impressed with. I sent an email 12 days ago and yet to get a response, then a 2nd email to follow up 3 days ago and still no response.They did reach out via phone and came back out to do another training. Very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable with your dog.

A great/positive/fun experience for our puppy and us. I could not recommend this place high enough. Inga made great strides outside of class almost immediately. We went for 2 months, very grateful for JoAnn, Diane and the rest of her awesome staff

I have been taking my dog, Missy, to Pack Leader Behavior & Training and have worked with Joann for several months. We have absolutely loved the time and attention from such a caring and knowledgeable trainer. Joanns technique uses evidenced based training with reward that is a basic concept in psychology and is extremely effective when used consistently. Joann encourages the bond between the dog and their human for the foundation of training. When we had difficulty in training a certain concept, Joann had alternative methods that helped Missy be successful. Additionally, Joanns knowledge of dog personality and characteristics helped me determine Missys ability. Obedience training isnt a means to an end but a journey that lasts the lifetime of our furry companions. I will definitely continue our journey with Joann and Pack Leader Behavior and Training. Cooper was a rescue with some issues. Working with Joann has made a world of difference. We have been to other trainers with other dogs in the past and would have to say Joann is TOPS! She works with the owners and dogs in a very patient manner. She really understands dogs mannerism and she gets results. If your dog doesnt get the results you want through Joann, its not Joann or your dog--its You! She has even come out to our house a number of times to work on items we requested. Joann is the Best Dog Whisperer there is. Doesnt matter what type of dog (big,small, stubborn, aggressive, passive) or what issues, Joann does really make a difference. She obviously has a true passion to train dogs. She believes in the owner having a relationship with their dogs and all her training is based on this premise.

Started taking my newest puppy here a month ago and really like the atmosphere. Way better than any big box pet store.

If you sign with your pup for the Puppy Headstart program it will be the best $120.00 you spend on your dog. Period.

My daughter and I brought her puppy in fir training. Joann is very knowledgeable in puppy behaviors and put my daughter in a more comfortable mode with handling her pup!

I have been with pack leader for a couple months now and my dog has gone from one or two commands to passing her CGC in less then four months. she started the school very shy pulling on the leash and other problems. All those problems are all gone now. I cant say enough good things about this school. the classes are very flexible the price is unbeatable and the instructor knows her stuff. there is no doubt I will bring all my future dogs to pack leader! I highly recommend pack leader to any one who has a dog.

It was a complete waste of our time and money. If one really cares about training ones puppy do a little research into the techniques that are going to be used in the class. Just calling your dogs name, leading them around on a leash, and feeding them treats will only frustrate you and your poor dog. Getting you no where closer to actually training a dog. This class was more like a glorified doggie social hour.
