I have appreciated the healing they have given me on my back. I had quite a bit of curve in my spine and was in pain. They were able help straighten it and give me more movement without pain. I would give 10 stars if I could. Everyone at H&H is awesome, caring and friendly. The office is clean and safe. Our whole family goes, even our 15 month old. A few weeks ago my daughter was sick with a normal cold she caught from daycare. Dr. Norring arranged for us to come at the end of the day and adjusted her. Within hours her sinuses drained and she slept for 12 hours that night. The next day she was 90% back to her self. Crazy how a simple adjustment can help our little one feel so much better. Really bummed. I was trying to schedule an appointment with a chiropractor and the receptionist was unhelpful. I am 36 weeks pregnant and want to make sure my delivery went smoothly. I don’t know if I can say enough incredible things about this place. I wasn’t actively seeking out chiropractic work (though I knew I needed it bad). I moved last summer and am now pretty far from the chiropractor I used to see. He was great, but the drive was too much of a challenge so I stopped my care. A lot of my pain in my neck and back returned.I knew in the back of my mind I’d need to get back into chiropractic care eventually, but didn’t make it a priority. I went in for an evaluation because I was walking, leaning to one side. After a very thorough review of my skeleton, I started a series of adjustments. I felt improvement after the first treatment. I went in to Health and Healing Chiro after a camping trip. My neck was tight, I couldnt look over my shoulder, and chin was pushed toward my chest. Ive been going to Health and Healing Chiropractic for almost ten years. I first went there in high school because I was having back pain while playing sports. They worked with me to get shoe insoles, back adjustments, and nutritional support. Since then, they have walked with me through a horrible car accident and other unpredictable health challenges. Initial Consultation, X-rays & 1st treatment—9/26/19 & 9/27/19As soon as I walked into Health and Healing Family Chiropractic clinic, I was warmly greeted by friendly, professional staff. I met with Dr. Karrie Lehn, who gave me her undivided attention as we went over my history and I gave her detailed descriptions of the debilitating pain I was dealing with in terms of my neck, which included profound stiffness and pain, minimum ability to turn my head, constant severe headaches, as well as numbness, tingling & pain in my arms & hands.Next, Osmunda, one of the X-ray techs and front desk receptionists, took pictures of my spine from different angles. Like Dr. Lehn, I found her to be both patient and informative.The next morning, I went in to have my X-rays explained and my prescribed treatment started. As it turns out, both my Atlas (C1) and my Axis (C2) are severely out of alignment and there is a lot of arthritis in my neck as well. Additionally, my spine has 2 (or more) curvatures, additional arthritis, and other issues that need attention. As before, Dr. Lehn took her time, making sure I understood everything, using a model of a spine as a visual aid.After that, I had my first experience with the ‘Integrator,’—a hand-held instrument used instead of the manual neck-cracking I’d had done years before and disliked immensely. This method was gentle and precise. After I returned home, I noticed that I could already turn my head perhaps an additional ½” and the pain was definitely reduced. That was amazing to me and gave me much-needed hope.In addition to my 1st chiropractic adjustment, I later had a ½ hour massage with Casey—the in-house massage therapist who addressed the knots in my back and a whopper of a headache I’d had for days due to my messed-up neck. When she was finished, not only did my back feel more relaxed, but the headache was almost gone.After several more visits, which included treatments from the second chiropractor, Dr. Norring, I am totally convinced that this method is far superior for treating neck and back problems than the traditional ‘snap, crackle, and pop’ I’d experienced in the past. I found Dr. Norring to also be a warm, attentive, and thorough doctor. I’ve quickly ascertained that it doesn’t matter which of these wonderful doctors treat you on any given day, you will be in excellent hands (pun intended).I cannot say enough about every person I’ve come in contact with at this awesome clinic. I initially began seeing Dr. Lehn and Dr. Norring for migraine headaches. They were absolutely debilitating and frequent, approximately 3-4 per week. At my first appointment the staff at Health and Healing took x-rays, performed a thorough exam and history. The next visit I sat down with Dr. Norring and went over my results. I had a major shift in my cervical spine which was pushing on my suboccipital muscles causing my migraines, it all made sense and Dr. Norring assured me this is something that can be cured with their practice. She recommended me to be seen 3 times a week minimum and I signed up for a very affordable plan that allowed me to be seen this often for a great price! Ive been a patient of theirs for about 3 months now and have seen dramatic results. Though I still have a bit of a road to being completely migraine free the initial results are fantastic! Ive gone from 3-4 migraines a week to maybe 1-2 a week. I have also noticed a dramatic decrease in daily aches and pains and feel more alert during the day and have been sleeping better at night. At the end of June, the administration team at my work had to take me to the emergency ward because I was done with life. I couldn’t foresee another day on this planet if I had to live with this pain...I’ve lived with constant excruciating full-body pain since I was about 5 or 6, which included migraines and nausea and vomiting before and after every meal . I remember at that age that my most recurring prayer request was for God to kill me, and to this day I’ve vowed never to have children at the chance I could pass this on to another human being.Over the past 25 years, I’ve had a team of doctors trying to figure out the cause, all coming back saying that my body was “healthy and normal”. All signs seemed to point to being stuck with this life forever.My periods have never been regular; it would come anywhere from every 2 weeks to 3 or 4 months apart. The cramps were unbearable, the bleeding unnecessarily heavy, and the affect it had on my sleep would trigger migraines. My blood problems do not stop there; I’m often covered in bruises as my body does not clot properly.My digestive tract does not function smoothly, and I cannot recall a full night’s sleep ever in my life (you’d think going to a sleep lab and having electrodes attached to your brain would show something, but even those tests came back negative).My neck and back were so sore that I couldn’t turn my head sideways, and found most positions too painful to sleep in. Being a swimmer, it took away most of strokes and made it difficult to get any exercise, as my knees are too degenerated to do any activity involving impact.I’ve been on a number of different drugs, most for pain management and migraines, as well as anti- depressants.My life since Chiropractic:My periods are regular and the flow normal. The cramps are mild enough to function at work, and I don’t want to kill everyone with PMS.But the biggest change was my migraines. I have only had a handful since I started (which is DRASTICALLY reduced, as I used to get them weekly). I feel so good that I stopped taking my migraine medication, as well as my pain management as well.My range of motion is back, and I can actually get back in the pool!My immunity has even increased, which is not something I expected to be linked. As a teacher, I am in constant contact with germy children, and it often takes me months to recover from a cold or the flu. Last year I was out of school for a week; this year, I made it all the way through without losing my voice!My life is changing and I owe it all to Chiropractic and Dr.Tyler.

Ive been seeing Dr Norring and Dr Lahn off and on for several years. They and their staff are always caring and compassionate. The chiropractic care has reduced my back and neck pain dramatically and also has helped when I needed relief from sinus problems, sore joints, digestion, jaw and face pain, and Im probably forgetting a few things.
