How can a podiatrist look at a toenail and not know that its a toenail? How is that even possible? It happened to my daughter during an exam.

My father, a diabetic, has been through a terrible month that included a heart attack and blood sugar drop that nearly killed him. In the process of getting everything in order to begin restoring health and years of neglect, he had an appointment with Dr. Koch. Their notes to the nursing home he’s currently in simply say “trimmed nails.” By the time my father was returned to the rehabilitation facility, his socks were soaked in blood. Wound care specialists had to be called in. The facility he’s in is furious. I called Dr. Koch’s office to request the appropriate outlet for complaint, and the receptionist told me that this sort of bleeding was to be expected. Contact with other podiatrists suggest otherwise. (You should not need a wound care specialist.) DO NOT go here!

Where do I start? First, if it were possible to give this place zero or negative stars I would!! Dr. Baker is a poor excuse for a Dr., first rate jerk in attitude, and totally full of himself, rude, uncaring, incompetent, and unethical. I went in the first time for issues with a bunion. He told me I needed surgery within a year and that it was “bone on bone” and I would need joint replacements later in life. He did nothing for the pain and said to come back to re-review everything when I was ready for surgery. Resigned to this I did come back 6 weeks later as asked. I was forced to repeat X-rays and waited for him to see me. He came in and made zero eye contact and had no clue why I was there. He never went over my X-rays and gave me a flimsy piece of foam to fix the pain on my toe. Seriously!! I then went to schedule my surgery with the gum smacking oblivious office staff. They set it up and I left. Later my gut said to get s second opinion. When I returned to Dr. Baker’s clinic to get my X-rays and notes from my last visit I was in shock. He had totally fabricated every detail of my visit prior. He claimed I denied numbness when that was my chief complaint, and said a ton of other stuff to make it appear he was doing his job (he wasn’t). This infuriated me. I went to Dr Agricola in Carmel and he was a true professional. He gave me options and said it was not “bone on bone”, helped me with a cortisone shot Baker advised against, and told me about my bone deformity that Baker didn’t have the qualifications to see. DO NOT LET THIS GUY OPERATE ON YOU. Baker’s office called me to say they had scheduled my surgery on the 19th when it was already set up for the 10th. Just WOW. Totally incompetent!! So glad I went elsewhere!!

Went there yesterday and was very unhappy with the doctor. I went in for a cracked nail and routine checkup. This tall podiatrist with reddish hair, he asked me two questions how long had I been a diabetic and what was my A1C I answered he then proceeded to cut my nails and he wasnt gentle at all! I said ouch and he didnt stop.. the electric nail filer was hot I can feel it through my nails and I again said ouch he didnt even look up, I said thats hot. Trust me he is no gentle giant! When he was done as he walked out the room I think I heard him say have a good day and check your blood sugars🤔 I then asked him about my Jubilia script he said its not working so just stop it! Well how can it work when he only sent it in twice last year and every time I called for a prescription authorization they never sent it back or confirmed it with my insurance!! 🤬 So I am highly upset with that podiatrist he should know better than to wear his feelings on his shoulder after doing this for 21 years! He could for sure use a patient care refresher. . ohhhhhhh and he cut my nails so ugly he didnt even care how he was doing it they are just so UGLY and uneven like I came from the flintstone era!!! I am pissed about that for sure jerk 😡 talking about people feet getting cut off its probably you causing it by how you dont do a proper check up and just cut and burn peoples toenails!!!!!

Terrible! Took my 84 yr old mom there to have her toes checked. The staff was very uncaring and rude. The building is dirty and unsanitary w/ worn out furniture. The Doctor took clippers out of drawer and never sanitized them... Just awful! Hard to believe Community Heads would associate the name w/ this practice. Walk into this place, please! Its across the street for heavens sake. Never again!!

Im so disappointed that a business would allow their front desk help talk about patients that call in to schedule or cancel a appt. With patients waiting to get back to see the Dr. Or allowing patients to sit in a room 30 mins past their scheduled appt. This place is a joke and it stinks so bad in the rooms it makes you want to puke.

Everyone is always very sweet!Dr. Groh is wonderful! He did a surgery on my bunion and I can’t wait to see how it looks. I’ve had little to no pain and I was very impressed. Good job
