The Local Anderson Indiana YMCA has beautiful, spacious apartments for seniors and low-income people very beautiful apartments. 👍

I’ve been coming for over a year, and I absolutely love it here. I’ve never been to another gym that gets to know it’s members like this one. 10/10 recommended

Needs a new facility, but have kived since I was a child. Now my kids use our membership regularly.

If you are looking for updated equipment or facilities, you will be thoroughly disappointed. Im sure this is the same equipment that was put in when this facility opened. However, you can use most of it to get a basic workout in. In its favor, this is the only YMCA that I can think of that still has a steam room.

Wheres management or maintenance? Consistently dirty... No follow-up by Mrs. Maybee when members offer support with cleaning or paying for sorely needed materials. No towels yesterday to clean equipment or shower. I look for it to close at the rate people are going to other facilities. Its a shame as I have been involved with the Anderson YMCA for over 50 years.

My usual Y location is Yorktown, but since I’ve moved to anderson I’ve been coming here more often! Every time I walk in, the front desk staff is sooooo friendly and they really do a great job with keeping the facility looking nice! Towels. and cleaner stocked always stocked! Very thankful to still have this branch open and running!

This is our local y. Its huge and inviting. The child watch staff is great. We will be lifelong members for sure.

Ive gone to places like this most of my life. This is the only one where I felt like my presence wasnt even noticed. And asking front desk staff a question brings a rude attitude.

It is very old equipment, not very clean men’s bathroom, not enough hand and equipment sanitation tools. Very disappointed at a YMCA facility!

Can you go and work out whenever you want? Or do you have to have a membership? And can you work out everyday? Or are there only certain days you can go? How old do you have to be to get a membership

The YMCA offers many classes, has new equipment, and is now offering kids summer camp.

This YMCA used to be a great place for kids and families to go. Now you cant get a straight answer from a staff person, without getting the answer I need to speak with the Director first. Your program for kids suck, you will not survive on Soccer, Basketball and membership fees for long. Your staff cussing in kids face and calling them stupid is very unprofessional and abusive.. Making them go all day without eating is considered neglect. Your agency makes my stomach turn in how you mentally and physically abuse kids. So much for our countries future. Way to live those four core Values-Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility.

Terrible management decided to turn off the heat when it’s 20 degrees outside. You can see your breath in the basketball gym. Whoever runs this place should be fired, they clearly only care about one thing

Great place to workout & be employed from this organization.

This place keeps their gym at around 55 degrees during the winter and they even cheap out on foam rollers and did not have a basketball less than ten years old. Go to the white river club if you want to join a gym

They are so rude you cant even change your babies diaper in the bathroom if your not a member they should lose there non-profit funding! 😡
