They take great care of my dog every week for daycare, he comes home happy and tired. They carefully split them into appropriate play groups and keep a close eye on them. They have a pool, play fetch, and have plenty of room to run. I was always nervous letting my dog go to day care at other places but I always feel comfortable leaving my dog with Electric City Stay and Play!

Wonderful staff, reasonable prices, and an overall great experience. My dog attends day care EVERY DAY and if she doesnt get to go, shell let you know just how upset she is! Would absolutely recommend for anyone who has energetic pups and a busy work schedule!

As always Electric City Stay and Play went above and beyond for my little Hilde (8 month Rottweiler). I felt so good about leaving her for the 4 days of boarding. They sent me pictures and texts throughout her stay as well as met all her needs. I would DEFINITELY recommend them for anyone traveling throughout the year. Hilde also goes to daycare and has a fabulous time! The staff is so friendly, understanding and you can tell they really care about the animals individual needs. 15/10!

Took great care of our new kitten Roxy, and cleaned her up very well.

They take such good care of your furry family members. They even check their health and give behavior report cards. We had them give time at the doggy pool and they sent us pictures of their day. Our dogs were so exhausted when we picked them up that they slept all day the next day. The caretakers care so much as they even called the next day after we picked them up to check to see how they were doing after their stay! We will definitely be using them again in the future. Definitely get the care worth for the cost.

We began bringing our fur babies here a couple months ago, and we/they couldnt be happier! I have been so impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. We feel that every staff member genuinely cares for our dogs. I love that veterinarian services are coordinated between grooming and the clinic. It seems every effort is made to insure the comfort of our dogs, and that means so much to us, and to them! I would like to give special thanks to Kate, who has been grooming them. We can tell that she genuinely cares about our dogs, and she does such a great job.

These folks are so awesome! You can tell that the staff really cares about your animals. They even sent me pictures of my baby in their pool!

My 7 month old puppy, Cash, stayed three nights at EC stay and play. I wanted to make sure to choose a good place for a dog that still forming first impressions about the world. I called and reserved the time, fill out all the forms online and followed the instructions of preparing his meals in ziploc bags and extra for treats. I also took a blanket and a toy. I chose extra activities eg nature walk and extra TLC for socialization purposes. I received pictures of his activities every time, and a great picture of my puppy smiling. It is important to note that the activities have an extra charge and it is up to the pet parents to make sure you want them or not. My puppy also had a bath with nail clipping included. The bath was reasonably priced and his fur was so soft to the touch. The drop off and pick up were seamless. The attendants were professional. My dog was tired but he was also happy and healthy. He didn’t seem to have any tummy issues after his stay due to anxiety or to the food. The price is a little higher compared to a kennel I used in the past. I believe the extra cost is worth it.

I appreciate everyone at Electric City Stay And Play because there are super caring to all of the animals in their care. My husband and I observed them while the dogs were outside playing with each other while our dog was getting his deshed bath and nails trimmed inside. The dogs got along and if they tried to fight the personnel would call them by name and tell them to stop. They have no fear of the dogs. They knew all of their names and very caring and sweet!! It was very lovely to watch!! Yes, I recommend them to anyone who wants caring people to take care of their pets!!

I like that someone contacted me, because my cat hadnt pooped for several days, and asked if I wanted her to be checked. I like the access to medical care, that someone pays attention, and cares enough to call. I also like that they regularly send me pictures, while Im out of town, and have a playroom, so I know shes not confined all day.

I’ve been taking my bulldog, Chief, to ECSP since moving back to Anderson in 2018. He absolutely loves it there. The staff is caring, professional, and they make sure all pets have a great time. I especially like that their sister vet is right across the street. They are proactive about Chief’s care and will take him to the vet whenever he’s not feeling well while in their care. It’s peace of mind knowing they love him as much as I do. ❤️

Our fur babies love boarding here! The staff is very friendly and welcoming to our pit babies. Most places won’t take pit bulls, but we can always count on Electric City Stay and Play!

I took my retriever for her first visit last week. The staff is patient and professional, and I felt that she was in a loving and safe environment. I will be taking her back as the need arises, and I feel great knowing that if I need someone to take care of her for a day, I have a safe place for her to be.

Our puppy was well cared for and we are extremely pleased with his stay. We will use any time we need to have our pets stay overnight.

We left our 8 year old, indoor/outdoor diabetic cat, in Stay & Plays care for a long weekend. This being his first visit away from home since he came to us, as a stray, we were a little anxious for Flop (our fur baby). When we picked him up he was very calm acted like it was just another day. I would highly recommend Stay & Play for any of your boarding needs and the price was very reasonable.

We LOVE Electric City Stay & Play!!!My dog Mila was attacked by another dog a few years ago, which left her nervous and quick to correct other dogs. We took her to obedience classes, agility classes, dog diving, etc. to build up her confidence and trust in us. We felt the last step of her healing journey was to socialize more with other dogs. I looked forever for a good, reputable daycare in my price range and was THRILLED when I found EC Stay & Play. I told them up front my concerns about Mila. I was impressed that they slowly introduce dogs to groups throughout a day or more trial and that the groups are set based on play style, personality, etc. Her first day, we got a full page typed report and since then, she has been going at least once weekly! She loves it, we love it, and weve definitely noticed a difference in her confidence around other dogs. She plays better even with the close friends she had before she started daycare and is much more sure of herself. Another amazing perk is that Mila gets nervous going to the vets, so we can have the vet drop off meds or give her a checkup while shes at daycare to minimize any stress to her since their vets make rounds daily. We would (and do!) recommend EC Stay & Play to everyone. It is so worth it!PS The daily report cards are adorable and Mila loves the pool they have!

EC Stay and Play is a great place for your fur babies. Our dog gets excited when we arrive in the parking lot. Even though he doesnt always participate well during grooming, the staff are very patient and do a great job. Highly recommend! Both paws up! (all four from my dog)

I just had a general feeling that TJ enjoyed himself there and the facilities, judging from outside only of course, were nice.

Its unfortunate I have to write this review, but the company has gone significantly downhill.The dogs are not taken care of to the level they should be and the daycare is very unsafe. There is a neighboring vet and the company takes advantage of that in their carelessness.Boarding dogs are only let out of their kennel three times a day. This is not enough time out, which leads to excessive barking, kennel aggression, and around half of the dogs have accidents every single day.Daycare is very unsafe, resulting in weekly fights and injuries to other dogs and employees from aggressive dogs being allowed in and unsafe play groups.The new manager has zero to any knowledge on dogs, dog behavior, or dog training. Her dogs have bit multiple employees and other dogs, and she does not see a problem with it. Dogs are not allowed to be corrected when biting or hurting dogs or humans, so the dogs only get worse and never learn how to act. Take your dog somewhere else and save yourself the worry.

Started taking my 7 month old German shepherd once a week and I can tell she absolutely loves it. They give a cute little report card about how she does and she comes back home wore out. So far so good.

My dog Cali (silver lab) has went since she was a puppy. She is now 2 years old. It was a life saver during those puppy years. It wore her out so she was too tired to chew. Lol. Every morning we drive up she gets more excited the closer we get. If she could open doors I think she would run in and put herself up. Lol. At the end of the day she is just as happy to see me. When I need to board her, she still gets to play with her friends and her separation anxiety is less. Love Stay & Play!

We recently boarded our 2 cats and 2 dogs. The care they received was over the top GREAT!!! They all got “report cards” detailing their stay, which was so nice! I called to see if I could board my dog after Christmas and have group play for him. I was told that he would have to be evaluated and that there was a charge for that. I was also told that they did have availability to board him and that I could have a tour of the facility when I brought him in. I made the appointment for the next morning and brought my dog. When I brought him inside I was told that because of Covid they were not giving tours and that I could look at pictures on their website instead. After leaving my dog for an evaluation, when I return to pick him up, I was charged the fee and then told they did not have availability to board him. They wasted my whole day and took my money when they did not have space for him. I sent them an email when I returned home to express my disappointment and got a response that they would forward my email onto the management. I have had no response for several days. Seems like there is a significant communication break down for this business.

Good place for boarding the furry members of your family when you cant bring them along. The staff are great, the care they show the animals is top notch, and we couldnt be happier with the price. Playtime or any additional attention to your pets will cost extra, so expect that to be coming, but otherwise great place.

This vet, Dr. Messman, is amazing. Our poor little Shih-tzu was treated for over a year w recurring ear infections that caused him itching and pain. Finally, we were referred to Dr. Messman who did a battery of tests and bloodwork and created an immunotherapy treatment specifically for him. Now, 9 months later, he is perfect - no problems and so happy. Hes gained weight and is so playful. Thanks, Upstate Veterinarians!!

Great dog hotel, but expensive.

Our dogs go there once or twice a week for socialization, and gives us a break to get other things done in the house. They are puppies 3 and 6 months.

Everything seems to have been well above average. The people were very professional and friendly.

They advertise, price & act as though this is a 5 star facility. It is not. The little girl who brings the dogs in & out is rather gruff with humans & she is not adverse to stealing money. She did not explain the price to me at all just that renting the deluxe suite was $90 per nite. I understand that she may think that I can read her mind, but I cannot. So, after telling them Id be gone 2 days, I almost dropped my teeth when Little Grump asked for over $400. Heck, I, the 100% handicapped Great Grandmother, just spent the same 2 nights in really nice Hotels (got a third night free), drove my Jeep Grand Cherokee full of gas & ate plenty of food for less than $400. I played for 4 exercise periods, but they did not have the pictures ready for checkout. I also might mention that the owners should spruce up the place. If I didnt like Heather so much I would never return. BTW Little Grump said she would refund me the extra money she charged me for being after 3 JUST THIS ONCE. Even though I was told pickup is 7pm. I was there by 5 - lest you think I want anything not given with a gracious heart! I do not. Regardless I signed them up for Doggy Day Care. I will report back on how that goes. I will also take some pics for you.

Did not like the way he was groomed and bathed

Have been using this place to board my dogs for a while. Last visit, my dog was attacked by another dog and I called everyday to check on my dog and I was not notified or made aware of the attack until the day we were to pick him up. I could have been notified the day after the attack when I called but I was only told that my dog was doing fine. Very disappointed about the whole situation. This is supposed to be one of the safest places for a pet. Very cautious!

Grooming was great. My dog looks and feels so much better. She came home happy and thats what matters most to me

I cannot say enough good things about ECSP! From the very first day that I walked in with my puppy a year and a half ago until today, they are always so caring and loving toward my Mei Mei. Ashley and Michelle made me feel comfortable from day 1 with their smiling faces and warm greeting which, I have come to realize, happens everyday no matter what. Any time I have a question or concern, they never hesitate to find the answer and get right back with me. Ashley and Michelle as well as Heather have actually come out to the car to help me with Mei Mei when I was on crutches! Their daycare staff is amazing with not only introducing and grouping the fur babies but also with their everyday attention to them! I also have Mei Mei groomed there and Sami is so good with her each and every time! I couldnt ask for a better place to take my sweet girl!

This is the best daycare that I have ever had a pet in. The people are amazing and make you feel like your animal is the only one that they have staying with them. They give little report cards at the end of the day. They have a dog bone shaped pool that they can go swimming in - I cant say enough good things about this daycare! My dog starts to jump in excitement when we turn the corner before we even get there! Thank you so much Electric City Stay and Play!!

Unfortunately I wasnt able to have my Yorkie groomed.. He needed a vaccination for Kennel cough which of course he didnt have due to NEVER have been in a kennel in his 10yrs of life. I have had him groomed at various of places and have never been turned away. It wouldnt have been such an issue if they would have advised me of their requirements, but they did not! Poor communication and lack of concern lead me to decide I will never go back there.😣

I boarded my cat here for two days and they are amazing! The staff is extremely nice and helpful and genuinely care about their furry clients. They took such good care of her and sent me pictures. Kirin was so much happier here with the play room than she would have been in a kennel for two days and its great knowing theres a vet on site. Highly recommended, great place for boarding.

We boarded our labrador at electric city over the weekend. They did not use his slow feeder bowl that we specifically instructed them to use. When we were picking him up Sunday, they said he just was acting a little weird, dry heaving and moaning... but we (the boarding staff) didnt think the vet should be notified, they dont come in till 5pm anyway. Turns out our lab had life threatening bloat (stomach twisting). We rushed him to the animal hospital and he needed emergency surgery to save his life.The staff are not educated on warning signs of life threatening illness in pets. They have a cavalier attitude and did not notify a vet, even though they are attached to and operated by the electric city veterinarian office. Our lab almost died because of this careless inattention and ignorance, but thankfully he was saved by us taking him to Magnolia hospital immediately.If I could give negative stars I would. Do not board your pets here if you care at all about their safety and well-being.

This is the first review Ive felt the need to respond negatively on. When I took Piper in for dropoff, I was not allowed to help her get adjusted to the place she would be living for the week, or tell her bye past the point where she was taken out of my hands at the front desk, because they were having a staff meeting. After calling for an update five times on multiple days, I was finally granted a call back on one occasion during the six day period. When I arrived to pick her up, there was a large group of dogs out playing, but Piper was inside in her kennel. The dark haired girl at the desk was as little accommodating as when I dropped her off. The only exception to this review is the very friendly younger lady who made me feel that she would take care of my deaf and super sweet Piper. I hope this review will be taken to the next staff meeting and given some attention. Otherwise Id rather travel further to do business with someone who takes my family and my money seriously.

We were able to board our sweetheart boxer pup overnight very last minute and I felt their prices were fair and the care was good. She had a loft room. She had no confrontations. She ate well (which is a biggie, means she is comfy) She had her own private play time and I received pictures of her playing. We will def be back for more playtime and if we need overnight boarding again. She seemed happy when we picked her up. Would be 5 stars if there were web cams to spy on my pup during my time away. It eases separation anxiety for this human.

Overcharged me & would not fix this problem. I called multiple times & I keep getting told someone else will call me back. I went up in person, same thing, someone will call me back. Saving your detailed receipt doesnt help either. I used to love this place, but Ill find another groomer. I dont like being lied to & jerked around.

My dog TJ absolutely loves Electric City Stay and Play. Prior to his first visit I always had to pick him up and put him in the car, and then he hated riding. After one visit at Stay and Play he was so excited he jumped in the car by himself! I was totally shocked that one visit had changed his entire outlook on car rides. He loves to go there. The staff was so kind to me through my moms hospital stay last year, making sure TJ was taken care of and having fun so that I never had to worry about him. The facility is excellent, and always clean. Whether as daycare or night boarding, I couldnt ask for better people, or a better facility, to take care of my dog!

I cant say enough about this place. The people are great, the facilities are clean and up to date. My dog, Belle, was taken care of in everyway. She is eleven and had never been boarded before. She was scared. They talked to her and babied her until she felt secure. They sent me pictures of her so I knew she was ok. It meant a lot.

First time we used them. Hes a puppy so I was worried about the potty training after he came home. But seems ok so far. He was very woundup because it rained for 3 days
