Amazing!! I knew I was developing cataracts. I had all of the regular symptoms (halos around head lights, visual acuity decreasing, etc.) but Im a Hematologist and spend much of my work day looking through a microscope. When using your eyes normally you can see the symptoms of cataracts but you cant see the cataracts themselves. The physics of looking through a microscope on high power allow you to actually see the cataracts. My field of view was getting more and more obscured. I put off having something done way too long. I ran into a friend of mine who had had cataract surgery performed ty the Eye Surgeons of Indiana., He was very impressed... So I will admit that I wasnt fond of the idea of having surgery done on my eye, but I contacted Eye Surgeons of Indiana. They were fantastic. The day of surgery, Yolanda put at ease as she walked me into the prep room. I was given something to calm me and had an IV started. Anesthesiologist Amy talked to me before procedure and this calmed me even more. My eye was numbed with eye drops before going into the operating room. When I was wheeled in, everyone was highly professional and went to work. Even though I was not totally out, I was very calm thanks to Amy. The procedure was painless. The result of the procedure is I can see extremely clearly at distance and only need reading glasses. I dont believe my eyes have ever seen this clearly. Anyway I give Eye Surgeons of Indian 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Very friendly and helpful. All of the assistants are great ! plus Dr. Hummer is the absolute best eye Dr. I have ever had!!! She is just great and I trust her completely! Love them all!

I dont know of a place where you could go for any better treatment then here. Every person that was involved in my care does far above and beyond to make sure everything is good. I would recommend them to anyone.

EYE surgeons of Indiana is an absolutely great place to go for care from the doctor that comes every Tuesday to Anderson Indiana they care about you and they take care of you and I was told yesterday that even if I called in and they didn’t have an appointment available that I should insist on being seen because I might have an infection in my eye or something. I am so pleased with EYE surgeons of Indiana God bless them all.
