Great place great people!!!! I have been going here for over 9 years and will keep going here they treat you right and take care of you. The friendly People makes everything better, they have a great selection of glasses and sunglasses they have new equipment and also old school for the people that doesn’t like the new. Definitely a great place and will continue to go there.

When I go here I expect long wait times, but what I dont expect nor ever want is a rude employee! Her instructions were very unclear and when I asked for a repeat she used a stern voice.

Do not go here!!Wait times are horrible for glasses, adjustments etc.After buying glasses and sunglasses, they are not adjusted. Fall off nose/face.After doctor visit ( which was great) I waited almost 1 hour for someone to help with glasses purchase.Then came back when glasses came in waited 2hrs in a black charge before anyone could wait in me.Phone time waits to get in contact with someone are terrible!They do not give apts after original Dr. Visit ( only good thing was doctor)I have spent approx 4 hrs in last week waiting after I bought glasses and sunglasses and they do not fit right!Lens crafters/ no waitWarby Parker no waitGo to doctor BUT go somewhere else for glasses.You will get much better service. Not have to wait.OR hold on line for 20 min to talk to receptionist.Also they are no cheeper than anyone elseI will NEVER go here again for glasses!!

This was my first visit in a few years. I believe it used to be known as Ossip.Anyway, I booked a basic eye exam. I called ahead of time and made an appointment, as well as made sure they take my form of Insurance/payment.Upon arriving, i had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. That was okay. Well, after the whole eye exam, I was then dilated and sent out to the waiting room for a few minutes. I as told to sit with another employee, and we went over glasses i enjoyed. She was very nice, although proceeded to ask my payment method and check me out for the appt. She gave me glasses and told me i was good to go. I felt like the eye doctor did not communicate at all with the front of house, so it seemed very unprofessional to me.After explaining to the lady that I was being dialed and was in fact not done with my appointment yet, i went to the waiting area. I had to wait another 15 minutes before being pulled back to the examination room. I was told once in the room that i would be seen shortly. I waited 30 minutes in the exam room alone. I eventually walked out into the hallway and flagged someone down to make sure they knew i was in the room. they assured me i would be seen soon. another 10 minutes went by. the employee popped in and told me the doctor was on his way. I was seen by him shortly after. The rest of the appointment took less than 10 minutes.I was extremely upset with the amount of time this appointment took. Front beginning to end, I was in the building for 2 whole hours. I only got a basic eye exam, and did not sign up for contacts or purchase glasses. I don’t think I will be visiting this location again.

I have been going to Dr. Happen, on and off, since I was 9yrs old. He is the most professional eye doctor I have experienced. He always has the most advanced/updated equipment than the other doctors I visited. All of his associates are extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. And,... If you are into outdoor sports or rough on glasses frames, I suggest purchasing their Oakley brand. I work highway maintenance and play outdoors. They have been the only frames to withstand my extreme treatment. Hahaha

Really liked this place my first go around. Dr. Millikan is great! Testing was great and it was greatly priced with my insurance. However a year later, same insurance they continue to tell me my insurance is not active. I have contacted my insurance several times and they continue to tell me my insurance is fine. This has been going around for a week now. Looks like I will be finding somewhere else to go for now on. Gave it 2 stars because it was a great place and was easy.

Update 10/1/2020Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this year very smooth! I was so surprised on the excellent customer service. I couldnt believe my contacts were shipped so quickly to my house. I was also so surprised she had called me to tell me she did order them! You guys finally got a good front desk team! I felt so relieved having my contacts so quickly. Being medical need I am always scared when I get down to only a couple of weeks of contacts as I dont see very well with my glasses. I will be honest I almost switched places over these issues but I really love my doctor and glad I didnt have a problem this year.Update: I finally personally emailed my doctor and got it worked out. It would have been nice to have gotten a phone call back from the front desk like they had said they would. Just aggravated that I deal with this issue every year since Im medical need. I always get the run around we will call you and get it ordered. I have to stay on top of it. My hubby loves his doctor as well and has never had an issue with his glasses or contacts. Its just been me thats been a problem.I have had nothing but issues with the front desk. Ive been going to this place for years and absolutely love my doctor but every year they screw up my medical need contacts. My eye doctor personally walked me to the front and told the lady that it was medical need and the contacts needed to be ordered. She said everything was covered with insurance and would call me when they came in. A week and 2 days go by and no call. So I called in and they didnt order it. She said I owed for the contacts and needed medical need approval by my doctor. What? Doctor personally walked me out and told the front desk person they were medical need. Its the same every year. Same insurance I never owe for medical need. The girl was having trouble entering it and said she would figure it out later. She said someone would call in the morning and get with my doctor. No one has called me. I am medical need and need these contacts.

I started coming to my eye doctor because i used to go to macha eye care and not once over the years have I had even a decent experience with macha. My last straw was not being able to see out of my eyeglasses. My left eye had not changed at all but it was the lens i could not see out of. Almost like seeing out of a fishbowl. They assured me i would get used to them if i wore them for a week. I wore them and gave it a chance but it was like seeing through beer goggles when i was at the DARE program in middle school.Coming to my eye doctor was a great experience. ALL the staff was very friendly and personable. The optometrist i had was very professional, funny, and straight to the point. I recieved a free pair of sunglasses for my years worth of contacts. Today i recieved my eyeglasses. I can see out of them just fine! Thank you SERIOUSLY to everyone at my eye doctor. I truely appreciate all of you!

Front desk receptionists are always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The entire staff knowledgeable and kind and wonderful at their job. Dr. Millikan is always thorough and makes you feel comfortable and confident that youre getting the best care possible. Thank you for the great eye Care!

Good doctors and staff, however they were not on schedule. I arrived on time, and had to wait about 30 minuets. The prices on glasses are ridiculously high. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

The office staff is always nice and friendly. The doctors are nice and they explained everything they were doing when examining my daughters eyes. The glasses are a little expensive but they hold up. Ive had my glasses for 6 years now and they are still in good shape.

I have tried a number of eye care offices over my 71 years, but this is the best one with the best equipment I have found. I felt like my exam was very thorough and explained well. I have no desire to go anywhere else and would heartily recommend this office to anyone needing eye care and glasses.

841.37 for two exams two pairs of glasses and six pairs of contacts I switched here and almost walked out without paying and let them sue me I shoulda I have never ever paid over 40$ for copays this is with insurance noway will I ever go back if wasn’t for my husband I woulda not paid them a dime but the 80$ copays and that was my price I will continue to stay with my eye doctor of 14 years just isn’t open conveniently for me now but I’ll wait and save 700$

Very friendly staff. I just felt uncomfortable as I entered the place. The frames had no price labels and were mixed up. I gave up trying to figure out the gender of the frames. I decided to leave and cancelled my exam.

(Anderson, IN)Front desk service was terrible! Ashley, treated me like a common thief! I went in to pick up my boyfriends glasses, she had them all bagged up on the counter ready to go, went to her computer to check medical insurance coverage... Noticed that everything on insurance end wasnt ready yet, then while on the phone with my boyfriend,(as Im standing in front of her), took the bag off the counter, placed it on the floor, as she was telling him he cant get them until insurance pays their portion.... That made me feel as tho she thought I was going to run off with the glasses!!! NOT COOL!!!!

Had to pay $200 for exam even after insurance. They forgot that I wanted contacts so I had to come back for another exam. I didnt have to pay that much for an exam before without insurance. When I asked why it costs do much I was rudely told because we care more about your eyes than others.

Like the one in Fishers, these people dont know what they are talking about. They took my insurance and said that I needed to pay $140 for my contact lens exam because my insurance didnt cover the exam since it was counted as cosmetic. My insurance DOES cover the exam and a few people in my office said they never had to pay anything out of pocket. Are they trying to double dip by asking the insurance for money + asking the customer for money?My suggestion is to pay everything out of pocket and then submit the claim to your insurance directly.

Terrible terrible service! Was told my sons glasses would take 2 weeks. We are now going on 5 weeks waiting for his glasses. That is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. Called today to check on them, and they are closed even though the website says that they are open today. I will never ever ever ever ever go back! 😡

Got my glasses in July 2017, had sx soon after that. I called in Oct 2017 and told them I really think I need my rx re-evaluated due to very blurry vision. The girl who I spoke with days no problem. I make an appt to see the new dr they had because, Happel was out. Thinking ok, no problem they are just rechecking rx...Nope! They said they could not recheck it due to me already having one exam that year, which was with them. I offered to pay for that, they still refused and told me to see my PCP because it was probably medical. I saw PCP,got referred because I had to. Saw her recently and she checked...NOTHING MEDICALLY WRONG BUT MY RX WAS WRONG AND BY QUITE A BIT! I will be calling to speak with Dr because they should have addressed this damn issue months ago!

Everyone was nice. The place had really great quality testing.The doctor was really good. However, as a whole the staff did a poor job communicating and listening to my needs. I went in there wanting some glasses. Did my best to explain to them that Im working now full time as a computer draftsman with a setup with multiple monitors at work and at home. I also told them that I have difficulty driving at night as well. I was put in a situation to have to guess at the distance my monitors were at as they fine tuned the glasses to this guess. The weird thing was that no option was presented to me to have a progressive all purpose lens. So I was put in a position to have to buy 2 pairs of glasses. One being regular glasses and the other for computer use. I decided to buy the computer ones first to evaluate before buying the second pair. As a note I was called and texted numerous times to confirm my appointment I made with them which was annoying. Yet they didnt call me when my frames were delivered there which upset me. Glasses took 10 days to get and no option to expedite orders. The quality of the glass and optics were amazing. But what they sold me instead of glasses I could use for work and home on my computer were reading glasses. I was told my glasses would be focused at my arms length with good viewing about 6 inches beyond and before. They missed big time as the focal distance of the lenses were about to my forearm. Any thing past that looked horrible, but from there to my face was incredible. If I wanted a 400 dollar pair of reading glasses, they would have been perfect. Like I said before, their intent was to sell me 2 pairs of glasses that would have costed me more than 1 pair of progressive lenses that they should have talked to me about from day 1. However this is not what I wanted. The first gal I spoke with about this refused to give me a refund when I told her these werent going to work. She insisted on me taking them home and trying them out and moving my 2 large monitors towards the front of the desk to use instead. I guess she didnt think working at my desk was important or something. Anyways, It was only when I went back a 2nd time that I was able to get my money back. So Im out my exam fee and 3 weeks of time. I would only recommend this place if you didnt have any specific needs for your eye care. I should have turned around when I first walked in there and said I Need some lovin for my eyes. She looked at me with a puzzling look like huh? If you do go here, dont bring a personality, as they have none. Good luck.

Called to get records released after a release form was signed and the young lady argued on the phone with me for five minutes that records had already been released and then finally at the end of the phone conversation she agreed to send them. A phone call that shouldve taken a couple of minutes took longer and there is no reason for that at all.
