After my hair was butchered at another salon, Nicole got me in the very next day. She was incredibly understanding with how distraught I was. She took her time with me to make feel comfortable. This is a super nice locally owned business that has been my go to place for all things hair related. My wife loves it there also. They have always got me in when I needed it. The website says walk ins are welcome however I would recommend making an appointment as it was clear by how busy they were its no secret this is the place to get your hair cut in Anderson.

I made an appointment in the morning to come in an hour after my call. I waited 15 minutes after my appointment and was told it would be another 10 minutes. When I asked why I was scheduled at that time if it was going to be a half hour later, the receptionist told me it was what the stylist told her. I want offered coffee, water, or anything. Also, the smell from the nails gave me a headache. I will not be back.

So I just moved to this area and was trying to find a high end salon to go to, I saw all the reviews on Medusa and thought I’d make an appointment here; I just called them and asked a very standard “naturally curly hair” question, “do you have any stylists that kind of specialize w cutting curly hair”, I also phrased it again like “ just a stylist that is known to be good at cutting curly hair”...the receptionist A. was crass and snarky answering my question but moreover her answer was, “our stylists have been here for 3 yrs or more, and they’re all good at what they do”😳 But bf that even, I started the call w/ “Hi, do you have just a few moments for some questions” she said “it depends on what you want to ask sooooo”(bad attitude off the bat) I then explained typically salons have someone that happen to be really good at cutting curly hair, I got THE SAME answer (in this short snippy way) four times!!! In the history of going to salons and having to change for one reason or another, I ALWAYS start w that question, and I have NEVER EVER had a salon not have a person to suggest in their salon! ANYONE in the hair industry (or has curly hair) KNOWS this is a very legitimate question....but I think her tone and snarky attitude is what REALLY bothered me, she acted and treated me like my question was completely absurd.....I guarantee there’s someone in that salon that does better than the rest cutting curly hair, and that receptionist should absolutely KNOW THAT! When it comes to curly hair unfortunately no, all stylists ARE NOT “equally good at what they do” (her words)....and just FYI, I’ve never written a Google review bf, THATS how irritated I am w this receptionist!! Medusa, you may want to find a new receptionist or retrain the heck out of her, bc who knows how much business you’ve lost due to her attitude!! Btw, IIIIII AM a business owner, w/ 3 receptionists, her rudeness and lack of even attempting to ask your staff the question (if and since she didn’t know) was what was “absurd”.....Customer Service is the HEART for any business, this woman had NONE.....guess I won’t be going here after all, which is a bummer bc I really hoped I had found my new salon....
