Amanda was Amazing. Made my hair look absolutely beautiful. Put a lot of time and effort into it. Wasn’t rushed. The cut cost a lot more than I expected, but it was worth every penny. They’re amazing and I highly recommend them.

The owner Ali is a Beautiful Sister that takes pride in herself and her Family and her Salon is a direct reflection of her Faith. The best experience Ive had in the past few decades. It was my first time ever going to this place, I loved it. I had Valerie cut my hair and she did an amazing job. She also kept a good conversation going. Usually when I get a haircut, the hairdresser is really quiet and awkward. This is now my new favorite salon to get a haircut. I dont see why there should be any bad reviews about this place, its amazing. Great workers, very clean, and great cuts. (:

I was in town for the day and had some spare time. I have a piece of ink that needed some serious re-working. I was pleased to find that this shop was able to fit me right in to their schedule. Gabe did a real nice job. Sort of an Inuit/Polynesian blend styling. I still get a lot of compliments on this piece.

Recommended by my bestie Stacy and I went last Summer. Enjoyed every minute of my experience. Ali is super kind and outgoing, respectful and loving, I look forward to my next 100 visits!

Lauren is AWESOME!! I have dubbed her my Hair Whisperer and she truly is. Under her masterful care, my hair is healthier, and I am always very happy with the color and style. I just had the most wonderful experience at Stay Sharp Hair Design! The salon is clean and beautiful, and the staff is fun, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I had received a bad hair at another salon that I needed to have fixed. Amanda was so wonderful! She took so much time washing, cutting and styling my hair until it was perfect! I can’t recommend her enough!

This was probably the best cut Ive ever gotten. Walked in and was quickly greeted by someone saying hed let my stylist, Amanda, know that I was there. Shortly thereafter, she came out and greeted me. Bless her heart, my hair was cemented together with the ungodly amount of gel I use. But she washed it for me. And she took her time and gave me a hell of a head massage. Not to mentioned the product she was using made my head feel all tingly and smell like a candy cane!Amanda took her time cutting my hair and engaging with me and even cleaned up my beard.The only downside was the pricing... mens haircuts are $30. But in this case, it was well worth it!

First time going here, and Im glad I did! Lauren was my specialist and shes phenomenal! Listened to what I wanted; seriously best hair cut in my life! I went from mid back length hair to an A line. This salon is beautiful, and all the employees are very friendly and helpful. I will only get my hair done here from now on. The stylists are phenomenal! Very professional and know exactly what they are doing. This is one of the only salons Ive been to that I can sit down and let the stylists do whatever they think is best, and trust I will come out looking amazing every time. Highly recommend!!

This was probably the best haircut Ive ever gotten. I went in on my last day in town and Im for the life of me I cant remember the stylist name, but she is the only certified Brazilian Blowout tech. I cannot remember a single time a stylist took that much time to discuss how my hair is, how I usually wear it, what I wanted, etc. I walked out completely satisfied with how my hair looked and some future knowledge about getting my hair blown out. I would highly recommend this location; this stylist was amazing for a haircut and Lauren did a great job on my wedding updo.

Jeremy Martin did an awesome job with my hair. I have a double cowlick and poofy hair and he immediately knew what to do with it and the style I wanted. Also hes a dope photographer on Instagram and sells cool prints in the store. Highly recommend getting a cut from him.

The first time I had Lauren style my hair was on July 18th. I simply had her flat iron my already blown out hair. She did excellent work! Right then and there, as a personal life hack, I decided to have her wash and style my hair once a week. My long hair was healthy and it looked great! After a few weeks, I had her touch up the gray before I left town. The color turned out great and, as always, she did a great job styling my hair. I was really beginning to trust her and I loved the salons Aveda products. I was getting close to breaking up with my other stylist. Then I decided to have Lauren trim my hair. I even used the word micro trim to make it clear I did not want a lot cut off my hair. Instead of simply trimming my hair as I requested, Lauren cut three to four inches off the layered section of my curly hair and the back of my hair is now above my shoulders. I look and feel horrible! It will take about two years to grow back. Lauren told the owner it was a miscommunication. Well, I dont know about you but, I dont know a single stylist who would cut four inches off a persons hair when the person asked for a trim! I even told the receptionist when I booked the appointment, I wanted a trim, a micro trim. Im walking around now with a hat on my head because the few people who have seen my hair have all responded, It will grow back. Thank you very little, Lauren!

Dont waste your money! This guy Jeremy Martin charges $50-75 for a cut that is uneven! And sloppy! He is so sloppy that he is a waste of time and money! All his brushes and combs are dirty. Dont look washed. Have nasty hairs all in his brushes before aiming for yours.

Lauren is fantastic! I always leave her feeling refreshed, beautiful, and new! Her work is art, whether it is a hair cut or color.My previous stylist could never figure out how to keep my color even and long lasting. Lauren figured it out and now I see her every 6 weeks. :)

I have had consistently phenomenal cuts here. I go to Jeremy Martin, and this dude can cut some freakin hair. I generally get a skin fade with a parted-combed-to-the-side style thing on top, but have never had anyone before successfully navigate the inhospitable terrain of my monstrously misshapen skull - so I generally end up looking like the traitorous Ephialtes from 300 - with a fade. However, he not only works with my hulk-skull, he makes my head look way better than I deserve. I get constant compliments from guys and girls alike, saying they cant believe someone can get a haircut or a fade that looks this good in Alaska. So that should mean something. Hes great at working with skull shapes and face shapes to make the cut really compliment everyone individually. Ive sent several people his way and theyve all been really happy. If youre looking for a good fade, or anything from Liberty spikes to a pomp or some junk like that, definitely go try him out. People pay $300+ for cuts like this in big cities.

Today (4/10/14) was my first experience with ForeverAK. I made an appointment with Ali and used a groupon which is how I found ForeverAK in the first place. Before I even got to ForeverAK I wasnt expecting that great of treatment since I had a groupon. Wow was I wrong. Ali was ready for me right when I showed up she was extremely kind and friendly. Already I was impressed. She shampooed, gave me a scalp massage and hot towel on the face, which I wasnt expecting. The entire time smiling and being extremely nice to me! This wasnt even the best part... I am very particular about my hair and have been looking for someone to cut my hair now that I have moved to Anchorage and its been 8 months but she did such a great job on my hair and was so meticulous that I wont go anywhere else. I cant thank her enough for the job she did. I am someone that works in media and a bad hair cut can ruin a week for me. However, this was a fantastic hair cut and I used a groupon! I cant thank her enough and will be back every 5 weeks now because I have finally found someone who I TRUST when they cut my hair! Thanks again!
