I havent had my hair cut or colored in more than a year. I had to wait a few weeks, but it was worth it. Nice quiet location with a very boutique vibe. Chairs are spaced out and everyone was really friendly. I had Celina and she was awesome. I love my cut and color, highlights and purple tint. I will come back.

Kinda rough with the hair and couldn’t even cut my hair the way I wanted it, it’s close to the idea but she basically trimmed my hair and told be it cost 55 when on there website it say’s 45 and even then if I was gonna pay that much they could at least do it right. Not upset but disappointed. Great clips is better though and cheaper. Wouldnt recommend fringe hair Design to anyone personally. They where all nice just bad at getting the job done right.

WOW!!! Kelly is a freaking hair goddess!! So, I went a little nuts and decided to be my own hair stylist at home. I attempted balayage and well, I turned my roots orange and ugly. My hair was three different tones. I decided to try Kelly out since I had a random good feeling about her and my hair turned out amazing!!! I don’t think I’ve been this happy for a long time about the color. She seems very experienced and is now my top person to go. I finally found the one!! Also love how they use Guy Tang’s line for hair colors. They look great! I’ve attached a before and after pic in their photos. See for yourself. And yes..this happened in one sitting!

Oh my gosh. I love Lorna. She just did my lash extensions and they look amazing! The two hours felt like 15 minutes. She’s hilarious, smart and sassy and I felt right at home at the salon. They are very strict with their COVID precautions, which I really appreciate. 10/10 would recommend!!

I went to hairapy which is inside fringe. The fringe staff is very friendly but Wil at hairapy is one of a kind. Go see him.

Kelly is very knowledgeable about hair. I learned some valuable tips from her. She did a wonderful job with a cut and color.

This is a darling studio and Crystal is so lovely and does wonderful work. However; it’s really, really difficult to make an appointment with her. It’s taken weeks to a month (sometimes never) to hear back from her. All four people (including myself) that I know who have used her have left after the inability to make an appointment and this has been an issue for years. Hopefully this is resolved in the future because she’s so great otherwise.

Kelly is just hands down the BEST at incorporating blonde into my long light brown hair. I have been seeing her for a few years now and trust NO ONE else in Alaska to touch my color, and I’m picky! I literally see her 1-2 times a year. That’s how well she blends it! Other hair stylists ask me who does my hair, it’s Kelly! She kills it every time!!

Kelly is amazing! She is incredibly talented at what she does and could not be more perfect at matching my color! She also has a very lovely and calming presence. I am so thankful for her!

Visiting the area and needed a hair appointment and the Fringe had some great reviews. Nice quaint shop, friendly staff, and my stylist; Celine was friendly, personable, listened to me and Im happy with what she did for me. Only reason for a four and not five star review was the price. Almost double from what I normally pay with a cut; I didnt get a cut today, just coloring. I have no regrets and if in Anchorage again and needing to see a stylist I would definitely come back.

I just had my first haircut at Fringe, with Kelly. The salon itself has a sweet, vintage-y vibe, and its clean and well-kept. My appointment started right on time, which I really appreciate. I can be a bit shy and slow to warm to people, and Kelly was just the right balance of chatty and engaging to un-intrusive. I have really long hair, and find often that because the cut isnt complex or artistic necessarily, some stylists (even in expensive, well-reviewed salons here in town) seem to phone it in a little, and I find shaggy bits or dead ends left or uneven spots when I brush through later. Kelly was very thorough and took a lot of care and time to get everything just right. She combed through and double checked every section both wet and dry. Im really happy with my hair, and bonus, I was out the door for about two-thirds the price Ive been paying for a haircut/experience I was far less thrilled by. I also love that they have online booking! Would definitely recommend. Ill be a regular for sure.

I hadnt gotten my hair done in about a year and had gone to the same person for so long, I was nervous about going to someone else. First of all, they were so great with figuring out how to put me on the schedule since I dont have a flexible work schedule. I went in for a bayalage highlight and a quick haircut and Celina is FABULOUS. Great person to talk to, great at what she does! I will for sure be going back. I felt so pretty leaving the salon! Even in my gym clothes!

Brittany is a great hair stylist and has been working with me on bringing my hair back to life! All of the products she has recommended have improved the condition of my hair immensely! She did a great job with cut color as well! Reasonably priced and was satisfied with my experience(s). Will be back again of course! ❤️

I met Lorna (owner) and a couple of the other girls at a bridal fair, and Ive stuck with them since. Everyone at the shop is pleasant, the stylists rock, and your make up will never look better. Also, their prices are great for the service and products you get. Sometimes I feel like stopping by just to say hi. They are going to open a boutique downstairs, so pretty soon, Ill be able to! :)

Meg cut my hair two weeks. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and then worked with me to give me something that would work with my hair. Meg fixed my hair a week after getting a bad cut so I was very relieved to feel like myself again. I cant wait to go back again to see what else Fringe has to offer! I had a friend who got her hair cut the same day by another person and she was also very pleased with her experience!

Booking with these ladies was one of the best choices Ive made coming into Alaska from Pennsylvania. I am always worried having my haircut other from an Asian hairstylist, but Kelly did a phenomenal job! I would highly recommend anyone to give them a try. I will be back whenever Im in Alaska again!

I had a great experience here, probably one of the best in Anchorage. Friendly People! My first experience and definitely not my last :) Megan cut my hair, and she did great! Im sure everyone there does! Anyway as a guy I recommend this place, definitely not just for womens hair. I would think guys would cut guys hair best, but nope this placed changed my views on it. I brought my own hair wax from Japan and let her mess with it on my hair, she also did great on styling my hair! A haircut for men is $32 All in all you definitely get what you pay for.Stop by ! :D

Terrible experience. When I arrived for my appointment, the woman sitting at the front desk told me Kelly had gone home sick for the day. She wondered out loud why no one had called me to cancel my appointment. What a disappointment!
