Would have been 5 stars if it were not for the unprofessional nature of the receptionists,I find it troublesome that every occasion that I have brought my son to see his therapist it is always a lengthy wait at the reception window... 3 young women behind the window having private conversations, chatting it up with the mail carrier, browsing the internet and always finish what they are doing before they address the individuals at the window.I feel that at the past three appointments I have waited at the window for no less then ten minutes while the receptionists went in and out the door,peered up from their computer screens made eye contact with me and were not even courteous enough to imply that they would be with me momentarily if at all. I feel it makes for a rude,unwelcoming and aggravating experience as if raising children with special needs and or Mental health issues is not difficult enough on its own the last thing a mother wants is to make an appointment for her child where on your arrival you both are treated as a last priority. The disconcerting nature of the staff is unsettling. As for my childs therapist Brittany she is a WONDERFUL girl who from our experience handles her patients with much thought and concern she is much worth passing through the bulldogs at the front gate i highly recommend her! 😁

Theres no point in taking your child here. No ones interested in them. At best you will be shuffled in and asked how they are doing before getting a script for medicine. Then just try to get a follow up appt. Good luck if you do get one, only to have the same situation happen all over again. I fail to see the point of this place.

Dr. Yuanna , is completely unprofessional. Didnt care about my concerns for my child , ignored them and telling me to read a book , we need better parenting skills and that we need a new school ! She has no compassion , my son has been going to this facility for about 7 years and now unfortunately I have to find him a new doctor because every time I leave there Im upset .

My oldest has gone here and now my second child goes here Dr.Yuana has been great to us as well as others. The new location and the way it is set up is stressful a tad, needs fixings

Do not, I repeat, do not take your child to see Dr. Susan Chukwuchebeanyi Uyanna.She is not friendly especially towards children or friendly towards the parents. Her office and her demeanor are cold and sterile. She is not engaging and can be confrontational. She seems to want to diagnose every child the same regardless of the real reason they are there. The child is forced to sit up straight and maintain eye contact. If you, as a parent, try to ask questions, she either ignores you, talks down to you, or runs you over. She makes it very apparent when she doesnt like you or the child. She is very dismissive and treats the parent as if they dont know anything about their child.In my case, she told me, after all the school reports were back and supposedly looking at the information, that she was going to blindly treat my child and put them on focalin for a condition that she doesnt even suffer from. I said no and refused. She was going to end up putting my child on three medicines total. Each one to counter the effects of the other one. For anyone who doesnt know, the FDA labels all drugs with warnings and classifies them. Focalin is a black box label. Ive talked to many parents whose child/ren were prescribed this drug by her with horrible results. The side effects of this drug are dangerous for children that dont suffer from adhd but do from bi-polar or depression. But regardless Dr. Uyanna will prescribe it anyways. Its also highly addictive. Before allowing your child to be put on it, please read the information on it and make absolutely sure that the diagnosis is correct. She did not correctly diagnose my child as well as many others. She should be removed from practice as I believe she is a danger to children. Dr. Susan Uyanna is the child psychiatrist, she lacked manners, empathy, she withheld the diagnosis of my 5 year old as if it was a control game for 10 minutes, and every time questions were asked she was defensive as if she was being challenged. I am not sure why she is even employed let alone why she is working with children. Such a sensitive subject and she managed to turn the whole experience into a complete nightmare. All of her reviews on other sites indicate the same experience, she has 1 out of 5 stars on all reviews. I would never waste my time to write a review and a negative one regarding someones career but this experience was a NIGHTMARE! I left in tears feeling nothing had been done and we were only set back, there was no help for my son.
