Meant to write this review a while ago. Called to acquire old vaccination records. Receptionist confirmed they had it. They are required by the state to turn them over to me within so many days if I request it. I did. They said they were in storage. Called back to check in. The records were still in storage. Receptionist refused to comply with NYS law to turnover records to a patient due to the records being in storage -- despite me giving ample time for this to occur.If the records didnt exist or were lost, I would have been fine with that conclusion. Stuff does get lost after so many years; however, confirming that they exist then not complying with NYS law is unacceptable.

I recently started going to Dr. Balsamo and I couldnt be happier! From the first phone call all the way through the visit it was a great experience. His staff as well as nurses are friendly and I can only speak highly of DR. Balsamo himself. He made me feel like a person instead of just another client. I would highly recommend him for anyone.

I just left his office. At the door, from start to finish it’s a great experience. The ladies at the front are always pleasant and professional. Dr Balsamo is not your run of the mill numbers doctors. You will realize very quickly he is concerned about your health and well being. He will not tell you what you want to hear, he will tell what you need hear. You never feel rushed or pushed aside. I find that this doctor is familiar with my particular situation. He knows what your dealing with medically and gives you the tools and the information to address those issues. I trust him, I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

I cant imagine being in the medical hands of any other doctor. After being referred to him by a long time acquaintance, I am forever grateful to be his patient. Always a smile, always thorough, honest and genuinely concerned with my health and well-being. As my children age out of pediatrics, we will soon be a family of patients with Long Island Health and Wellness.

Dr Balsamo is very knowledgeable, and his attention to detail assures you that you will never miss another important appointment again. He will remind you over and over until you complete his requested tests.Both my husband I use Dr Balsamo, and we are both very pleased with care, knowledge and attention to details of results. Only drawback is that it is hard to find an appointment even a month out of you need a specific day.Cliff and Annika happy patients !

Dr. Balsamo and his staff has always been cordial, polite and definitely has met my standards as a health care provider. Dr. Balsamo is very caring and an attentive Physician who always express interest with your health ailments and well being.

I have to take a moment to personally thank Dr Donato and his staff for giving me the best medical care. I first went to Dr Donato in March or April of 2019, I already new I would be Pre Diabetic, since I have been for years, it runs in my family and I was hoping I was going to always remain pre. My test came back and I did become Diabetic, I wanted nothing to do with medicine and really was not listening to his advise. Everything he said was absolutely the best medical advise, I am 49 years old been working my a** off working out and eating right a lot of the times and I was gaining weight nothing was working ( Dr told me that is why your body needs help to work properly) . I did start medication and everything he told me was correct. If you are looking for a DR who spends the time to get to know you, who will not just tell you what you want to hear, a Dr who is smart, then Dr Donato is your guy! Grateful that his staff put up with me lol.

Dr D Balsamo and his staff were unorganized. I had to repeat several times my prescription needs, which were not filled. They asked me for my pharmacy name and address, I thought there wouldnt be a problem. They wasted my time. Also because of using my own brain, about my own health care I was discharged as a patient. I must admit that Dr D Balsamo appeared knowledgeable at first but is very rigid in his approach to medicine, which may be okay for patients without many medical needs. That was not my case. Very disappointed. A patient should not have to fight her doctor for medical care even if they disagree.
