I’m writing this review on behalf of my bf. He found them to be unorganized, unprofessional, and dismissive.He made a 2pm appointment to be seen at the Northwell Go-Health Urgent Care Center in Amityville. He showed up to his appointment right on time (3 minutes early) and they told him all of the exam rooms were full. They took his phone number and stated they would call him when there was an available room. No one ever called. He waited 40 minutes in the car then went back in to follow up and they accused him of being late to his appointment.When he was finally able to see the doctor he told them he was there because he had COVID and was exhibiting symptoms of pneumonia. The doctor brushed him off and told him that was just a symptom of COVID and he needed to wait it out. He advised if it gets bad to go to the Emergency room. They have XRay equipment there at Go Health and they didn’t offer to X-ray his lungs or even do a basic exam. They didn’t check his pressure or his breathing. They stayed far away from him, afraid that they’d be infected with COVID.I was really disappointed when he told me this because I actually had a good experience there.

Staff is amazing, the pediatric virtual visit was amazing and they were able to squeeze us in for a rapid test for my kids. Because in Long Island its a 1 to 2 day minimum wait for an appointment at a Go Health urgent care. So I was glad they were able to expedite it for me.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience, I understand we can have stressful days but please don’t make us patients miserable just because you are miserable with your job Roger (at front desk). I recommend everyone to not come here, go somewhere else where staff will treat you with kindness.

I was able to be seen almost right away. They are very professional. God bless our essential workers!

Called in advance at 7pm & was told they take patients until 730pm. Walked in at 710pm & told i couldnt be seen. Explained i was told over phone i could be seen & they reluctantly took me in. Staff was unfriendly & rude.

The staff there Roger at the front desk and Kimberly was very nasty. Kimberly even told me to go to CVS to have my son tested for COVID. ( as she was rolling her eyes and looking down on me). I feel they are lazy and trying to deter people from being tested. However we did find Ty to be very professional and kind.

Easy to set up insurance and information before getting there.Check in was quick and pleasant.Friendly, Professional staff.Clean facility.

The staff was so pleasant and the facility was very clean. Check in was very easy and the physicians assistant was terrific.

They saved my life that day and further delay and I might not be here to answer these questions... I forever be grateful!

Just left after having a covid test for upcoming surgery. The whole staff is absolutely amazing and the place is so clean. Tyshawn (unsure of spelling) gave me the test and had the sweetest disposition, he def made me calm down bc I was anxious about getting the swab placed up high inside my nose but he was as gentle as could be. I hope they are treated as wonderful as they treat their patients. When this is all over they deserve a much needed paid vacation and so much more.

One of the best urgent care I’ve been to. I took my toddler to get a Covid test a few months ago at a pediatric urgent care and it was a horrible experience but here they were so gentle with her. She barely cried! Dr. Jeffrey was really great and nice too. I now know where i will always go.

Didn’t receive a bandaid... but the overall experience was exceptionally good.

The team was so accommodating with a same day appointment . The staff was extremely skilled and organized. The reception/xray technician was very patient and professional. The receptionist was very nasty and rude. However, the PA was very thorough and attentive in examination.

This is my favorite urgent care. The people who work there are very professional, very friendly and help you in any way they can. If you have to call up with a question, they go out of their way to get you an answer right away. Great place!

Highly recommend the Amityville location. Under the pandemic stress - everyone at the location - receptionist, assistant and the PA treated me with patience and kindness.

Rude and unprofessional states that they are a walk in urgent care and they do not even take anyone in especially if you got injured at work. Shouldnt even need to be named urgent care. Also there was no one in the practice, not one patient around. Dont waist your time on this establishment that does nothing for the community.

Went to the Amityville location for a flu shot, $20 paid. Received a bill for $120!! I have tried multiple times to resolve this error with the clinic and billing dept. Still have an outstanding balance. The billing dept is not fixing this for me. Getting a flu shot shouldnt be a hassle.

A beautiful building was a nice setup. Thestaff were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out so fast. I would love to go there again when Im not feeling well. Excellent I would recommend this urgent care to all my family and friends.

Thank you so so much for taking excellent care of me. My physician was so informative, tending and kind towards me. It had been day number three of a horrible stomach bug that had me praying to the porcelain Gods for two nights straight. Luckily I was much better by the next morning but my physician made me feel comforted and comfortable knowing that it would resolve and that if I didnt, I could always come back. Thank you so so much!!!!

Came in for an abscess Ive seen 3 doctors for. The lady doctor I saw told me exactly what I needed to get rid of the abscess for good. Also the facility is beautiful very modern an up to date very clean an the staff is wonderful. Very very nice people an place!!!

I like this place. Check in is quick and the wait is not long. The provider was very thorough in checking my symptoms and diagnosing the issue. She was quick and straight to the point. Im feeling much better.

I’ve been to this location twice now. The Check-in process is simple and quick. The space is very clean and everyone is very tentative to you and your needs. They are very thorough in diagnosis. I would definitely recommend going here if you need urgent care services.

I was out on Long Island for business and could not get to my regular physician Dr. Jennifer the PA was terrific she went of her way to really make me feel better. Dr. Jennifer Called my doctor at home to make sure that she gave me the correct medication. The next I was feeling better already!Thank you

Unbelievably nice and caring professionals will provide the best care and attention to you and your particular health issue. In my case, they got me an appointment with a Dermatologist same day!When your not feeling well, this is the treatment you deserve and at GoHealth, you get the best possible treatment!When I need help, I will return here!

Great service and the waiting time wasn’t too long.

I arrived late for my appointment however the office was not busy so I was seen right away. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The PA explained exactly what was wrong (I had a rash on my neck and upper lip) and sent over two prescriptions to my pharmacy. The medical assistant was also very quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend/use this location again.

I absolutely love this place! Its well maintained, the staff is courteous and professional and youre in and out in no time. Im so glad they opened this office so close to my house.

5/18/19 - I arrived at 8:05am as stated on website 8am - 8pm, so took a cab. Office was closed did not open until 9am - 9pm. I had rotator cuff surgery on 5/09/19 and since Tuesday evening my throat started hurting. Since I can’t drive right now and everyone is working and running around Friday morning was the day. Receptionist were ok. Then I get called to back. The PA Chelsea, started asking questions regarding my chart and reason for my visit. I indicated my throat was on fire and swollen. The medical assistant did the vitals was not able to get a blood pressure readings and I have elevated blood pressures. My temperature was slightly elevated but no red flags. The PA proceeded to listen to my chest, look down my throat, ears and nose and then made a diagnosis, allergies. I angrily asked you are going to take a Strep test. She proceeded to say No I think it is allergies. I stated how are you making a diagnosis without ruling out the obvious. I stated this office is run by opinion and not concrete evidence and results. She then said she would send the assistant back in to take the test. 10 minutes later she did. Ten minutes later I walk out to front to call my cab. Chelsea then comes over to me and said Your Strep test came back positive. I’m calling an antibiotic in for you. Worst place to go. Their diagnosis is based on their opinions and not actual results. PA may not be the way to go here. She definitely needs bedside manner training, definitely more medical education and she gave a bad rep to PA’s.

Great experience ive been to other urgent cares in the past had a bad experience. Here it was different they where very attentive greeted with a smile and received great medical attention. The facility was very clean and looked very nice I recommend this over the ER anytime .

If youre paying out of pocket, just know there are cheaper options for a walk in clinic. The initial visit here was $120 and then an additional $45 PER EAR for a wax removal irrigation. Another nearby clinic previously charged me $50 for the visit and $40 for the procedure if memory serves. I wouldnt even mind the price too much if the irrigation was successful, but they couldnt clear it out due to the poor quality of the procedure. It wasnt lack of effort or care though, it was just poor tools (literally a squirt bottle with a hose attachment). The building was clean, the staff was otherwise friendly and respectful, but if you need your ears flushed out, I recommend ERdox or, better yet, the general practitioner, Dr. Balsamo, both down the road from here.

Friendly staff and clean office. Aroura and her staff took excellent care of my daughter. She took the extra time to make sure she answered all of my many questions. Definitely a family friendly office.

I easily scheduled my appointment online prior to arriving at the urgent care, I submitted my demographics and insurance info and was given an estimated copay which was correct. Once I arrived, I was scene in about 15 minutes. I was surprised it was just the physician and the MA (I think he was an MA or nurse). Apparently they were short staffed down 1 today. I still received excellent service. Dr. Bajaj accurately diagnosed me. I thought that maybe I had the flu (turns out I have mono). We were both pleasantly surprised by my diagnosis. I was so happy to just have an accurate answer to what was going on (though I rather would have had the flu lol) he provided a lot of information for self care and as a favor he took my first round of labs for me so I didn’t have to rush to follow up with my primary care doctor since I work like 12 days a week. (I’m a healthcare practitioner as well) Excellent care. If I ever need urgent care I’ll absolutely return.

Went with my sick child there! Was waiting there for more then 1.5 half hour meanwhile it was only 3 people in front of us! Hand sanitizer next to the entrance door was empty! I said that to the nurse and she changed it in 30 min after I mentioned it! Also dirty empty soda can with the straw was standing on the counter top in the waiting aria when we sit down, and when we was leaving the place that can of soda still was standing there! Disgusting! Very poor and unsanitary place! Especially in the winter!!!

Staff was professional and courteous. The admit process was easy and the follow up was nice.

I came into the office in an extreme amount of pain having suffered two broken ribs on Saturday night, and was not getting any relief from the pain medications prescribed in the Emergency Room that night.I somehow made to their location, and was given what could only be described as the best medical service I have EVER recieved.This awesome care was provided by a young Physician Assistant, named Aurora, whos prime concern , it seemed was to relieve me of my pain, which she was able to non-narcoticly as opposed to the Emergency Room, which gove me non effective opioids,Aurora, the PA, was compassionate, forthright, and affirming that I would feel better while maintaining a professional decorum and demeanor the entire stay.To summerize, I highly reccommend thisi facilty, and only hope that they continue to hire talented young professionals.BRAVO!!

Went there for a hand injury the physicians assistant Aurora is an amazing physicians assistant and a warm kind person my insurance was giving us a hard time and I needed a plastic surgeon to repair the damage to my hand Aurora went and helped me find someone and set it up I had surgery the next day and the surgeon she recommended was amazing also Dr. Mir

They Lie and they are not nice. Was told the cost was $70 co pay with insurance. Real cost was $310 for a perscirption for antibiotics and a 2 min office vist. Dont go there.
