Dr. Andrew is the best Chiro around. I was having vision problems, so bad optometrist, ophthalmologist and family doctor couldnt tell me what was wrong. Doctors laughed at me, in disbelief when I told them my Chiro fixed the issue. Best customer service around as well. Nicole is amazing too. :)

I am amazed that he has received 5 star ratings! I went in during Covid and he and his staff refuswd to wear masks. He began to share his political views with me and educate me on why people won’t get sick if they are taking care of themselves. Not professional.Furthermore, without any x-rays he cracked my neck HARD leaving me with a headache for DAYS. I was in so much pain after leaving his office. I will not be returning and highly recommend not goi g here.

I had a fantastic experience! Dr. Andrews was personable and extremely helpful. I was able to do a walk-in visit during my first appointment and when scheduling additional visits they worked with my class schedule. I came to Ames Chiropractor with a painful neck injury and I am excited to say that in less than a week I was able to get back to my life, good as new!

One of the best chiropractors I have been to. Very knowledgeable and explains what he is doing and why; always goes above and beyond my pains to fix things I may not have even noticed. He really wants to see you improve and get better. Staff is friendly and always tries to work with your schedule; they don’t force you to schedule a return trip; rather suggest and let you make the decision that is best for you.

Whole team there is very friendly. My schedule is very hectic and being able to do walk-ins (or call ahead to see schedule) is convenient for me. I work in landscaping and the military which involves a lot of lifting and bending. I usually try to get in at least once a month to maintain everything and it works well for me.

Dr. Andrew does wonderful work. I am not a regular visit client, so to speak, but I go in for visits when I need help with headaches or other issues. His adjustments always do the trick! He uses both an activator as well as manual manipulation. Both him and his staff are very friendly and personable. Highly recommend!

Dr. Andrew is a treat to work with, and he has been willing to work in partnership with me in improving my spine health and overall health. He takes the time to listen to how Im feeling, and has a wealth of knowledge in chiropractic care. If I am intrigued by an article Ive read on a wellness practice, or health supplement, hes willing to discuss it and give me the benefit of his medical training without being dismissive, or making me feel silly for asking about it . Hes also funny, and since I believe that laughter is the best medicine, its a real plus. The tables for adjustment take you from a standing position to prone, so there is no need to strain yourself trying to get down on the table, or back up when youre done. I am encouraged to move about after my adjustment to make sure that all of my problem areas are identified and managed before I am walking out the door, and I dont feel rushed while doing it. I would encourage you to take the time to stop in for a consultation.

I am a hockey player for Iowa State and have had many back issues and the inability to shoot at full potential but know I am able to shoot again like I used too because I can use my torso again. It had been about a year since I could shoot like I do know. Also, I had neck pain where I could only sleep on one side and that is basically gone. All this in two weeks. Went here for some back and neck pain a while back and Dr. Anthofer was able to fix it within just a few visits! I was able to schedule my appointment online the night before, plus they can take walk ins if their schedule allows. When I first met Dr. Anthofer, I was very depressed about my back as I had just had an MRI at Mcfarland and was left with the comment that my back wasnt in good shape. I saw sports medicine doctor and she offered me no alternatives. I had also seen other chiropractors in Ames and Ankeny without achieving any difference in my condition. At the time I saw Anthony, he talked with me about my history and within a few minutes had figured out some critical issues that no one else had done! He also figured out that my problems were also ligament related and has given me a natural supplement that has really helped. Basically, a huge mental weight was taken off my shoulders, hes correcting structural issues that were never solved by numerous people, has corrected a knee as well. Hes so smart and clued in. He has a very intuitive touch and can feel whats going on. He also has recommended specific stretches and weight exercises that are helping me a lot. I have a very positive mental attitude now and feel absolutely great. Between my physician, sports medicine, physical therapy and multiple chiropractors, NO ONE has done for me what Anthony has. He is a life-saver and I highly recommend him.
