I have always had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Imam and her staff. I recently returned to the office after some time and all of the staff treated me like I had never left. They all made me very comfortable with the treatment I am getting ready to receive. I highly recommend California Dental Care to anyone looking for the best dental care around!!

I’ve been going here for years now and Dr Imam is such a joy! Everyone who works here is kind and helpful, and I always feel like I’m in good hands. I’d love to point out a couple rockstars - Lorena (hopefully I got her name spelling right) gives a killer cleaning. Efficient, thorough, talks just enough to make you feel comfortable, then focuses on her task. She really pays attention to you as the cleaning goes on. I think she’s awesome. Also have to say Dawn up front is wonderful. So sweet and kind, makes you feel at home and gets you checked in and out quickly. I definitely recommend this dental practice!

The dentist Dr. Imam and staff at CA Dental are not only good at what they do, but they take their time to get the procedure right. I don’t know about you, but past dentists I have had don’t do extra x-rays to show you where exactly is the crack in your tooth or how much of the decay they drilled below the old filling they removed. This is the first time I have ever looked at the tooth after work done to it. Maybe new technology made this available in dentistry or maybe it is the attention to customer service that is the difference at CA Dental. I am definitely a happy patient with this new dentist. Happy with their competitive rates, the one stop shop select services they offer, and great bed side manner. So happy I finally switched dentists. I can’t say enough about CA Dental. They’re great.

I absolutely adore this dentistry! Everyone is so kind and friendly. They are honest and concise with their patients. They handle the new Covid procedures on top of their own exceedingly well. Their attention to detail is impeccable. They are very flexible and work with your schedule. They understand pain levels and also give advice as well on treatment for your teeth. I will continue to be a loyal customer to them. If you dont have a dentist I highly suggest this one! And if you do I still suggest this one!

Dr. Imam, DDS, is a very competent dentist. Moreover, she exemplifies the attributes of a caring professional towards her patients. For the above reasons, I have kept her as my preferred dentist for the past 6 years.Additionally, it’s imperative that I mention the great contribution of support staff like Ms. Charo Patio, Patient Care Specialist, who takes care of all administrative matters to ensure that everything from securing the most convenient date for the dental service is obtained to coordinating that all paperwork with the insurance companies is approved prior to any type of specialized dental procedure is performed. She also takes care of coordinating for services of Oral Surgeon when necessary to preclude me from doing it myself. In addition, she makes the patients feel very valued by the attention she provides. I highly recommend California Dental Care for it’s exceptional service.

One of the BEST dental clinic Ive ever experience. First, the expertise and professional skill of the dentist, Dr.Nahreen Imam is beyond compare-2 tooth extraction in one sitting without pain whatsoever. Same positive experience goes for the front office personnel, particularly Ms. Charo. She is well versed, not only in handling the smooth functioning of the front office, but also the financial aspect. The insurance queries that patients will always have is handled expertly and thoroughly. I highly recommend trying this dental clinic for a no pain, no worries experience. This is my experience today, April 17th year 2021. The kindess and expert care of the dental assistant Sharon is also worth mentioning and very highly commendable

My first visit and I have a fear of dentists...I arrived and Charo was so friendly, made the check in process so nice and comfortable. They took me to the back and a very friendly tech took xrays and cleaned my teeth so gently! The dr came in and explained what she wanted to do first and made sure I was comfortable with what she was telling me. Every step of the way they made sure I was comfortable with the process and the direction it was going. At the end of the visit they printed out and pre approved my plan for the next visit. I was so happy with this visit I made an appt for my daughter to switch here from the awful SmileCare in Vallejo. I cant believe I found them and so close to my house!

Best dental office in the Bay Area HANDS DOWN. The ladies that work there are ALL absolutely fantastic! Super friendly, first name basis with everyone, it’s like being on an episode of Cheers and it’s great! Charo in the front office is always the sweetest thing ever. Hygienist Vivian is firm but fabulous! Joy has the greatest “bedside” skills ever and just wants to make sure you are doing okay. Now doctor Imam... what’s not great about her! She is an absolute doll! She always wants to make sure you are okay, if there is anything she can do to make you more comfortable.Prices are fair and they have great financial options if that is what you seek. In my honest opinion it is the greatest dental office in the Bay and I recommend it to everyone I talk to! Ms. Charo, Patient Care Specialist; is very helpful and friendly, she makes sure you are taken care of. Vivienne is a knowledgeable and amazing dental hygienist. Dr. Imam is an experienced and competent dentist who is genuinely caring for her patients dental health. Highly recommend them!

Dr. Iman is an excellent dentist I would highly recommend. If you want quality work done on your teeth she does phenomenal work that I was highly impressed with her staff Dawn and Chara are also great and do there very best to meet your needs on the financial aspect.

1/2020 I had the horrible experience while trying to locate a dentist that would assist me with my Adult Child who has autism. I was completely in disbelief after that terrible experience. I decided to take a look in American Canyon, and had the opportunity to speak with Ms. Chara who assured me that my son would be taken care of If we decided to schedule with their office. When I tell you everyone in this office is completely professional, experienced and loves what they do I mean it! The Dentist, herself has shown so much compassion and support I can not tell you how many tears I’ve shed!! I’ve listen to this Dentist tell a specialist “ I need this, this and this” She took time to take a call as we were at the specialist ofc, explaining what her expectations were of his work as she referred. I can’t tell you how very much I appreciate this team. Talk about excellence! Please visit, you will appreciate the staff here.

Came in today with a cracked tooth in extreme pain hoping for the best but also expecting the worse with no scheduled appointment and the current situation with COVID I was skeptical . To my surprise the staff who run this dental office, from the receptionist to the back staff taking care of patients in need was a top priority. They didn’t miss a beat, I walked in explained my situation and the severity of my pain 10 minutes later there techs were prepping me and taking X-rays for the dentist. Turns out the situation was even worse than what appeared and lucky that they understood and took care of it right away making sure that i was comfortable thru the whole process. These women were about there business and as professional as you could get. Straight forward no nonsense atmosphere who are truly looking out for there clients and not there revenue, highly recommended. They are heavily COVID compliant made sure everything was sterilized and will assist you if you do not have the proper attire. Thanks again to the amazing staff for all your help

I have been going to dentist all my life and I can say from experience the Dr.Imam is the best. She is kind, gentle, professional. She explains what she believes needs to be done but does not push. She had to do a lot of work on my partial denatures and they are perfect. She is an artist when it comes to her work to give you the best smile with what you have to work with. I have no plans to leave her practice. I recommend her to everyone I know who is looking for a good dentist.

I love California Dental. The office staff and Dr are always happy to see you. They make sure your comfortable with any procedures you may be having. The Dr tells you about everything she is doing and put me at ease. I dont feel like the Dr is trying to make money, she tells you what needs to done and what can weight for a while. I have referred her to all my friends.

I have been coming to California dental for several years now. It usually only takes a few days to set up an appointment, always a very short wait time in the lobby and the service is always excellent. The dentist has a gentle touch and the staff is friendly, courteous and professional.

Great staff and excellent service. Always seem to be available when I need them (on Saturdays especially). First dentist that I have ever been to that makes me feel like they are willing to work around my needs and my schedule, instead of the other way around.

This doctor is not trustworthy. She over prescribes and misdiagnosed in which i’ve confirmed with two different dentists that they are not serious issues. Doctor Imam extorts insurance money this way and you out of pocket if insurance does not cover the remainder. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Such a sweet staff. They all went above and beyond to make me and my daughter feel welcome. My toddler was very whiney and they offered her toys, crayons to color, talked to her a ton, etc. Very clean and professional office. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This place is amazing!!! The dentist is so sweet and the team is great!!! I will alway recommend this place to anyone especially someone that is afraid to go or has children!!!!! They will work with you to figure out how to pay for what you need done! Just an all around great place to go! Plus there is a huge tv in the waiting room.

Should be zero star instead of 1 star. #1 = the receptionist was very rude multiple times. Ive requested for my daughters x-rays, she said her office doesnt do that. There is no excuse period. Im a new patient along with my 3 kids and hubby (to prevent commuting far to our former dentist). #2 Dr. Imam over-prescribes, gives scare tactics to get major issues fixed ASAP, and performs unnecessary work on peoples teeth (my husband, my 16 year old, and I were all over-prescribed major issues that our former dentist have confirmed those services were unnecessary!). My 16 year old had her annual insurance allowance maxed out by Dr. Imam after 3-4 visits; she only has 20 bucks left in that account that wont even cover her for her last teeth cleaning this year. Ive never had a family member have his/her dental insurance account maxed out by any former dentist in my life until Dr. Imam. The receptionist also gave me scare tactics that if I dont get my daughters 6 cavities fixed ASAP she said those 6 cavities can turn into needing 6 crowns within months (with me paying out of pocket over $900 because this dentist already maxed out my daughters account). As fyi, I had the SAME x-rays given to my former dentist to review and the former dentist said he saw 4 marks (that DO NOT need to be addressed as those marks have been present for years) and those WERE NOT 6 cavities! The former dentist (including a 2nd new/local pediatric dentist) also said they would never suggest putting a crown on a 16 year old due to cavities (in reality those were harmless marks)! The former dentist said those 4 marks have been in her mouth for many years with no issues! Something very similar happened to my husband, Dr. Imam said he had a few cavities after x-rays. But when my husband had his former dentist look at those SAME x-rays, the former dentist said those are 3 harmless marks hes had for over a decade and NOT 3 cavities. Every issue Dr. Imam found shell have her staff and herself give you scare tactics to get these issues fixed ASAP so they can rob your insurance and you out of pocket of whatever insurance wont cover. This was how they succeeded in nearly wiping out my daughters annual MetLife insurance allowance (down to $20 joking bucks left for the year, not even enough for 1 last teeth cleaning she needs for the year). #3 Both my daughter and I have noticed quite a bit of coffee/tea stains in the bottom of our back teeth shortly AFTER a professional teeth cleaning from the hygienist in this office (we opened our mouths in front of the mirror at home right after this visit to see how well they did as we are new/first time patients to them). Whats the point of getting a professional teeth cleaning? #4 The receptionist said this office even does x-rays on 1 year olds SINCE insurance covers for it. Im disturbed because radiation is bad and former dentists Ive had in the past dont do ex-rays until 6 year old the earliest unless there are major visible issues. Ive inquired about this because I had plans to have them see my 4 year old for the first time, which I quickly backed out. #5 During another service for my daughter to prepare getting a crown, the office billed me for the current service and said they had to add 8 bucks from a billing error they made from my former service (they never apologized). This is ridiculously penny pinching of them. Its the principal not the money. They made the error they should own up to it. Dr. Imam is money hungry as 8 bucks is nothing. This is really no different than eating in your favorite restaurant and then the next time you go back to eat the waiter adds 8 bucks on your tab because he forgot to charge you from your last meal the last time you were at the restaurant. Its clear this office services teeth for The Money and not for the Love and Care for Her Patients. I rate them an F and will never be returning along with my 3 kids and husband. If youre wanting to experience a nightmare dentist, Dr. Imam would be your perfect candidate.
