I spent two weeks here and the surroundings are like a first class hotel. The nurses and techs work very hard to help you. I wish there werent a shortage of nurses and techs, because the ones that are here go beyond the of duty of care. The P/T department was adequate for my situation as I didnt need major care but they were very attentive and informative.I would highly recommend Abors as it was a very pleasant stay. I was very fortunate to be in another Rehabilitation place such as Vibra here in Amarillo that has the same high standards of care as Abors. So I like to thank the all the staffat Abors for their care and say BRAVO to them for all they do.

My father in law spent 3.5 weeks in The Arbors. He did not receive the care or rehab he should have had. My mother in law was in his room 24/7 with the occasional time to go home for a shower. She cared for him the entire time he was there. They are so short staffed he would go all weekend without any therapy and not even be moved from the bed to the chair. He fell while in their care on the first night. He also broke his thumb while in the Arbors and they failed to note this in his records. His surgeon put an order in for a splint/brace to be placed on the thumb. It took them over 2 weeks to get it put on. The Dr. also ordered therapy 3 times a day. He was lucky if he got therapy once a day. They considered moving him from the bed to a chair therapy. They passed over doing his laundry this past week and he went an entire week without a bath. That is uncalled for! I know there’s not a lot of rehab choices in Amarillo, but know before you choose The Arbors for your loved one, this place is very short staffed.

The staff at the Arbors were all very nice, caring, and professional both times that Ive been there i would highly recommend going there for your rehabilitation after the hospital!! The room that i had was big and had a pretty comfortable bed with a big handicap accessible restroom and shower area!! You wont regret choosing The Arbors for your rehabilitation needs and maybe if your lucky youll have an awesome nurse like i did Dana Ham!!! God Bless You and have a Beautiful Day!!! @>--;---

My mother stayed at the Arbor’s for 2 weeks. On the plus side the food was good. But it was very noisy at night, the nurses aides were quite loud at night. Hearing personal discussions and complaining about their jobs! My mother would not recommend staying at this place!

My 94 year old mother was there in 2017. She had a number of serious health issues. The Arbors made her feel at home, in a warm environment. The nurses and CNAS were exceptional, especially Dana Ham and Tonya Coble. It was a blessing that my Mother was at the Arbors. I would refer anyones family member there.

My mother was a resident here for a short while after her hospitalization at BSA, for her occupational and physical therapy. Everyone was very professional and helpful, especially Yvette (from Perryton) :-), one of the nurses who was extermely helpful and accommodating when discussing my mothers medicine intake. We know and realized that God is in control of all things and He has sent angels such as Yvette and the other staff, to help watch over our loved ones. Nice and clean. I would change up the food menu to be more accommodating for the residents and more enjoyable. Overall, my moms stay was a good experience. Congratulations to Portia and Nurse Practitioner Kelly and others on the birth of their babies. To God be the glory!!!!
