I feel extremely blessed to have been accepted as a patient by Dr. Amaro. He spends time with his patient in order to get to know them and understand their needs. He has equipped his office with many options to help his patients. I have taken advantage of several options and I feel better that I have in over 20 years. His support staff is amazing. Each and everyone of them is professional and friendly. Collectively they make dealing with all the medical tasks extremely pleasant.

Dr. Amaro and his staff are very kind, professional and thorough. Dr. Amaro answered all my questions and took time to explain everything to me. He did not complete my visit until he was sure I didn’t need anything else from him. It is so hard to find this in doctors these days. Most herd you in like cattle and spend two minutes with you. Dr. Amaro actually cares about his patients. I am so glad I have him as my doctor.

Despite having a heavy patient load, especially during this COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr. Amaro still takes time to listen to better determine symptoms and a diagnosis. His office staff is also great and is always very helpful and friendly. His staff does a great job in following safety procedures to ensure that his patients and staff are safe.

Although it has been a while since I have been in, still remember how amazing Dr.Amaro and his staff are!!! He found answers to questions of 10 years! He is top notch and he LISTENS. I found him to be very caring, compassionate, compulsive, and straight up about everything! Couldn’t say enough GREAT things about him ! Thank you Dr. Amaro.Now a few years later ...Although with that being said ... I recently called to make an appointment, (Insurance has changed and possibly able to afford to go to all Natural medications).I called and a young lady answered , she didn’t reveal a name at any time. I was told to come back to Dr. Amaro, I would have to see a Nurse Practitioner. I expressed that I wasn’t sure I would like doing that (I have never more than I can count on one hand in 25 years ever had to see a Nurse practitioner) I was abruptly placed on holdAnd after sitting on hold for SEVERAL minutes, then phone picked up and replaced on hold and sitting for several more minutes I received an answering machine and was told the office was unavailable and leave a message . I did just that. I Then called back to the office and asked if it was an answering service and the lady that answered told me that they have no answering service and then to hold please , and the girl I spoke with earlier got back on the phone to tell me that Dr. Amaro is no longer accepting new patients! THIS BECAUSE I QUESTIONED RATHER I WOULD WANT TO SEE A NURSE PRACTITIONER! I told her Thank you and Good Bye ! This staff did not seem to be the same girls that worked there 3-4 years ago ! I have never been treated so rudely and dismissed as though I did not matter ! My reason for wanting to return to integrative medicine is because I was diagnosed by Dr. Amaro with Lymes Disease when I was seeing him in the past. Things have progressed and I believe there are better treatment plans and thought maybe I could have a better chance overcoming this with him ! That’s all I really wanted to do !

Dr Amaro is so on top of new things to help his patient. Very kind & patient. Listens to patient.Theres NO cookie cutter or one size fits all treatment here.He listens to the patient & then looks for a solution for that particular patients needs.I am forever grateful for the care I recieve from his entire office & so appreciate the entire staff.When I leave there I feel Ive had the best of the best.

Ive been going to Amaro Integrative Medicine for over 5 years, and have gotten so many questions answered regarding my health and chronic issues. I would recommend Dr. Amaro to anyone whos frustrated with not finding answers at their conventional GP. The office visits are very good. The staff is professional and kind and treat the patients with dignity and respect. I believe they spend a great deal time getting to know me and are concerned with providing the best possible care. My complaint concerns the way that refills are handled. On several occasions I have gone without my medications after speaking with staff on the phone who promised to take care of it. The last time it happened I spoke with two different staff members and still went without my thyroid medicine for four days. I wish this process would be addressed, and it may have been, as my last experience was very positive and my request was handled promptly without any problem.

After dealing with several health issues for years and being told I was a hypochondriac and a worry wart it was a relief to find a doctor who is determined to get to the root of the problem and not just write a prescription for the symptoms.After only one week on my food sensitivities diet I could already tell a BIG difference. I had been using 3 energy drinks a day just to function. After one week I had more energy than I have had in years and that is with NO energy drinks!! Dr Amaro is an Osteopathic doctor. His practice includes a lot of integrative medicine as well as nutritional health support. Our entire family has moved from other providers, and we see him for all of our primary care needs.If Allopathic medicine has failed to provide you with the relief you need, you deserve to leave the M.D. box and return to health.
