Excellent, Gentle physician. Took time to explain what to expect of the procedure and the results. I highly recommend him.

Waited 3 weeks for my wife to see this terrible human being and when she finally called to see why she had not received an appointment date she was confronted will very unpleasant overpaid receptionist.

I was sent home from the er with another diagnosis of stomach bug and sent home without any prescription running 103 fever for 5 days. I didn’t have a gp dr established in Amarillo yet and dr Thannon saw me without a reffferal. He had already got my reports from the er and was very caring and thorough. He found out I had salmonella and cdiff infection and called me personally w prescription information and follow up info. It was very nice to have a dr that cared and didn’t blow you off when something was severely wrong. I would highly recommend. His staff was extremely kind to me as well and they got me in fairly quick during the pandemic.

Several family members and friends of mine have been patients of Dr. Thannoun’s for years. He is the perfect example of a physician who cares and is invested in the health of his patients. He never seems distracted and does a great job of making sure the patient understands what is going on.

Dr.Thannoun is probably the most caring drs my husband and I have ever had. He has personally called both of us for various reasons. I’ve never had a dr do that. He is awesome at his job. We wouldn’t have any other.

I cancelled an appointment with a different doctor because I just was not comfortable with his staff, which was indifferent at best. I researched other gastroenterologists and asked my oncologist to refer me to Dr. Thannoun. The difference was night and day! His staff is pleasant and very helpful. Sharon actually went over the entire instruction sheet for the colonoscopy with me (at the first place I was handed a paper to read). I wanted to get it done asap so I chose the soonest appointment, which unfortunately was at 5:00 in the afternoon, so I was weak and shaky after 1 day of all liquids and the procedure day with nothing, not even a sip of water, from 9 a.m. on. I recommend morning appts for colonoscopies! The nurses at BSA were also very friendly and caring. Amy went above and beyond to take care of me. I highly recommend Dr. Thannoun. He is straightforward, answers all your questions, has a great deal of experience, and is VERY thorough. Just what you need in a doctor!

I would give a minus zero stars if possible to. He missed diagnosed me over and over again, plus I had to see him at J.O. Wyatt and their Dr.s are a joke. I was referred to another Gastrologist by someone who worked at a Hospital who knew that he had a bad reputation. Then after seeing the other Dr. for years he dropped me for no good reason. So stay away from Amarillo Diagnostics too.

Dont ever go here these people are horrible people!!! The staff was not pleasant very rude stay far away frm this business!!!
