Dr. Sudhakar is wonderful. I did have to wait until 2 am for my 6:30 pm appointment, but it was well worth it. He gave me complete clarity of what it is I have and even brought to my attention everyday things that contribute to it. He works very hard and even left after me to continue working at another clinic with children. I had been going in circles for 6 years with other doctors that have left me in the dark unless I pay the bill and even then my results were always inconclusive. He was the first one to be upfront and right to the point. Worth the wait, I just hope hes not too exhausted.

He always puts me first no matter how busy he is. He is always worth the wait and told me definitely what was wrong. I am always satisfied when I leave no matter what time it is. When it is dark he helps me out the door and watches me to my car.

Dr. Sudhakar is the best. Yes he does evening appointments and you might have to sit and wait but he is a doctor who listens and has compassion. He thinks outside the box. While waiting in the waiting room speaking to his other pt they travel hours just to see him. When making appointment just plan being there bring things to do. Well worth wait and travel.

Dr. Sudhakar has been my doctor for years now. I am satisfied with the visits. I have never been rushed through my appointments, and I have never found his doors locked. My prescriptions are always filled, and requests for paperwork granted. I appreciate his care and concern for all my issues. With my experience, I am thankful he has helped me with so much. If there is a shortage of these doctors in Amarillo, I could understand why he is always at the hospital. I have had my share of late appointments. I communicate with staff of how late I can show up.

You will wait for several hours to be seen. My appointments are usually at 5:30 and I get seen at 10:30 or 11pm. The experience is worth the wait but medicines that were supposed to be called in on 9/27 when I was discharged from the hospital are still not called in. I called 5 days in a row to get answers and left 3 messages with answering services before hearing from anyone and over a week later still not called in. I went in to the office today in person twice to have meds that I am now out of called in and they still weren’t. Very frighting to have severe panic attacks and be without your medication that you need 3 times daily. No one else in town taking patients as of yet. April is the first opening for someone else. When you call half the time you get a fax machine noise. The other half it says it is not during office hours when it clearly is. Very hard to get a hold of. He did come see me every night at the hospital. I’m sure he is overloaded with patients but I am in pain and have no medicine for the sever panic attacks I am having daily. The staff is kind they just must be way overloaded or highly disorganized. Wish this all could be remedied because I do love this doctor.

I desperately love this doctor. He’s amazing, knows his stuff, and works extremely well with his patients. But his receptionist and secretaries are the absolute worst. I mean terrible, and weren’t even wearing masks. They cannot pick up a phone, call you back, or get your appointment on time. Waiting several hours at a time past the appointment time is so unprofessional. I’m writing this while waiting, and have been waiting for the past 2 and a half hours. We will not be coming back, and are sad to have to do so.

I’ve never felt more unsafe in my life. No precautions against Covid-19 were taken. I was not screened. Other patients weren’t wearing masks or socially distanced in a very small waiting room. I also waited an obscene amount of time to see the doctor. This doctor should not be allowed to practice medicine.

His times of appointments may be unconventional, but he saved my husband’s life when no one else knew what to do. His reasonings for his late appointments are because of family time. He put in the hard work for his education and puts family first. We can wait to see him whenever he can because he’s worth it.

My husband has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We thought we had found a good doctor. Our first visit we waited three hours in the waiting room and when we finally got in to see him, he talked so low my husband could not hear him. The same way every time. We never find out anything new. Same questions every time and then he says “you can go”. When I ask if he feels my husband is making any progress - holding his own, no real affirmation. I’m finding a new neurologist - stay away from him!!!

Horrible doctor, with absolutely zero respect for his patients.. Schedules you to come in at akward hours, then doesnt show up until substantially later.. meanwhile theres 15 people waiting gours for their visit, only to receive a couple minutes of his time, and without any real treatment,or problems being resolved..shame on this Dr,who do you think you are to treat people in this manner...Not me,never again, Ill drive to Lubbock, anywhere not to deal with this kind of poor treatment..

Great doctor who takes his time with every patient. He periodically gets called out for emergencies so his appointment schedule often falls behind but he is worth the wait. I always call ahead to see what time I should show up.

He wont cooperate with other doctors. Im sure he may not even wake up til 5pm. Only sees his patients at odd hours, and doesnt seem to be very sharp. Ive been trying to get my mother in to see a different Neurologist, and Dr Sudhakar wont send her records to the new doctor.

WE ARE NEW IN TOWN AND MY MOM NEEDED A NEUROLOGIST FOR HER DEMENTIA. OUR APPOINTMENT WAS AT 6:30 AND WE DIDNT GET TO SEE THE DOCTOR TILL 9 PM. I DONT SEE HOW A DOCTOR CAN GET A GOOD READING ON A DEMENTIA PATIENT WHEN YOU MAKE THEM SIT AND WAIT FOR 3 HOURS. THAT JUST MAKES THEM IRRITABLE AND UNCOMFORTABLE. FOR DEMENTIA PATIENTS THAT IS THE WORST STATE TO PUT THEM IN. THIS WAS THE ONLY DOCTOR THAT WAS ACCEPTING PATIENTS ON MY MOMS INSURANCE. BECAUSE OF HER EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING INTO A DRIVE TO LUBBOCK OR CLOVIS JUST TO OPEN THE POSSIBILITIES. IF YOU CAN HELP IT DONT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!

I called just to see if they received my MRI that he requested from BSA and the receptionist was so rude once I hung up the phone I was in tears. How do you treat a potential client like that? I understand there will be a wait, I understand you cant tell me my results, but you snapped at me and made me feel less important. Good job on treating someone who has been suffering traumatically for almost a month. Ill find someone else to go through once I find a physician who cares enough not to send me to such a hateful place. How you guys are still in business baffles me. These reviews are terrifying.

I don’t understand how anything going on in his practice is legal. He doesn’t see his patients at normal hours, or have scheduled appointments. Instead everyone is told to come at 6:30pm and it’s 1st come, 1st serve. Half the time he doesn’t even show up until 7:30pm or later to start seeing patients. His drs office is absolutely disgusting! To the point where I’d be terrified to have any injections done by him. Cluttered counters, dirty floors, dust everywhere, looks like a hoarders home.. doesn’t wash his hands in between seeing patients, and doesn’t wear gloves. Completely unsanitary! Also, getting prescriptions refilled is a massive pain. They make the pharmacy call them instead of just filling it.. even when you’ve already sent several refill requests. Why?? I have no clue. Ive put up with it because there’s no neurologists in Amarillo, but I’d rather drive to Lubbock and get proper treatment. I’d honestly spend the same amount of time as I do waiting the 4+ hours for his appointments.

This doctor has total disregard for patients and their families time. We have waited in his office for hours to see him. One office appointment was at 2:30. We arrived early and was told to go shopping or eat because he would not be in until 4:30. On another visit we didnt get out until after 7 PM after waiting for a mid-afternoon appointment. Yesterday, my 89 year old mother had a test scheduled with him at BSA. Since we live an hour away from Amarillo, I confirmed test, location and time with his office before we left town. We arrived at BSA early and waited. At 6:30 PM, we were told that he was still not there, had one patient in the room waiting for her test and 2 others ahead of us. Since the test takes 40-45 minutes that meant another 3 hours minimum! I take off work to take my mother to her doctors appointments and we live an hour outside of Amarillo. This is unprofessional and disrespectful, plus the toll it puts on the elderly. We will not be using him again. I know there is a long wait, sometime 3-6 months to see a neurologist in Amarillo but I would rather wait to see another neurologist or drive to Dallas, Lubbock or Oklahoma City than to wait on this man.

I really like and trust Dr Sudhaka. Hes treated me for years. Yes, he sees his patients later in the evening but his office staff will tell me when to check in and when to come back for appointment. Hes very kind and thorough. He has sways had test done when I have new symptoms or increase in symptoms. I also know if I have a stroke or other emergency in a hospital, he will be there.

LESS THAN 1 STAR!!! Never again will my FIL enter this mans office again and wait until late evening to see him. Shame on you, Dr. Sudhaker. This is the most disrespectful care for patients in the worst way. If you have too much on your plate to not handle patients in the office, then stay the hell in the hospital and care only for those. Absolutely sickened to see a waiting room full of patients waiting for hours and hours on this man! Who the hell do you think you are?

His care and ability to diagnose is Horrible!! It is questionable whether he is fit to be a physician. There is a huge difference between drs who graduate with As & those who graduate with Ds!! Be prepared to wait hours to see him. A 4:00pm appt means you will be seen after 10:00p.m. He didnt accurately read my MRIs, Cat Scans and EEGs. He rushes through from patient to patient and can not possibly have the time to truly find what is wrong with them. What A waste!! I wonder how many lives have been lost due to his incompetence? He couldnt even see the blood clot in my brain. If you hear, its all in your head or psychosomatic get a second opinion promptly!! His office staff seems over worked and frustrated. I honestly feel sorry for those ladies. If I could have ranked him lower I would have gladly!!

Unlike others waiting hours we have been in the hospital waiting for three days. We were told three days in a row he would arrive sometime in the middle of the night because he keeps “Weird hours”. Three nights came and gone and still no show. Day three he said he would be here between 3 and 4 pm, now 5:45 pm and still no doctor.
