I took my mom for a follow up. She does not speak English but Carmen helped her and was very polite and helpful the entire time. Could not ask for a better Spanish speaker to help my mom out.I was impatient with Carmen at first but she remained calm and was polite the whole time despite my attitude.

My 86 year old Mother recently injured her dominant hand/wrist. I was able to make a same day appointment with Joy Waggoner NP for Dr. Risko. The front check in staff worked with me to get Mothers information as we forgot her wallet but had photos of her ID and insurance cards on my phone. The x-ray department was kind and caring of her pain and age. Joy took time to show us both the x-rays, explain what was happening, taking the least invasive treatment option available and again was nothing but kind to a pain induced grumpy older woman. Mother was able to go home, in a wrist brace after receiving an injection and is doing better each day. Thank you to all of the staff that worked so hard to get my Mother taken care of as quickly as possible.

The staff is absolutely amazing! I had rotator cuff/bicep reconstruction in July of 2021. Dr. Veazey is such a terrific person and doctor. Not only does he truly care about his patients, he even took a moment, with my wife and me, to have a spiritual connection in hopes of a successful surgery and physical healing. While going through physical therapy, my PT paid close attention to my movements, ensuring that I was doing them properly. Everyone there is just a pleasure to be around. Its a very comfortable atmosphere.

The first instinct on this place was good, and 100% wrong. 10 year old broke the wrist and we scheduled an appointment right after the ER visit. They seemed nice and helpful on the phone. Then we show up and wait. And wait. And watch the waiting room empty twice. 60 minutes after the appointment time, we walk through the empty waiting room to the counter and were told it would be just a few more minutes. At 90 minutes past the appointment time we were told the same thing. At 2 hours late we got a bunch of BS being told that we were only 90 minutes past the time since we were told to arrive early for paperwork AND that they were specialists. Really?!? The excuse being that you were only 90 minutes behind because you were somehow good at your job. We got in about 2h20m after the appointment time. Medical staff was great though they refused to use the x-rays from the previous doctor. Cast is on and we head out to get told at the checkout that our copay covered everything. 2 weeks later a bill arrives for the xray charge... and for the new patient charge. Call into the billing department and get told, once again, the previous staff person lied to us. Medical staff 5 stars. Clinic staff and experience as a whole... Well... ya have to give at least 1 star to leave a review. Next time we drive 100 miles to anywhere else even out of network.

Wow! I amazed at how rude the staff is at this place! We have been dealing with, Carmen, who is in charge of making appointments. She is uncourteous and un-caring! I honestly am in awe of why we were ever referred to this place! She spoke to my parents over the phone and made them feel as if they did not matter! Just because my parents have limited English, gave her no right to treat them the way she did! I pray we never have to deal with this type of treatment again! Very unprofessional!

My mother had a much needed surgery to repair a traumatic injury that was cancelled due to inclement weather. The surgery was rescheduled for weeks later because the doctors will only use their preferred surgery center instead of accommodating for a local emergency storm. These physicians are concerned with their money, not their patients.

Dr. Crossnoe is/ was amazing! My daughter broke her arm over the weekend, I texted him and call afterwards to let him know who I was. He was very caring and empathetic to my situation. He told me to tell the ER nurse to call him with the X-ray results. After he received the results, he texted me back and told me he will have his office stuff call me back on Monday with an appointment. They did just that! Everyone who we came in contact with at the office were all so nice and caring. My sweet girl went back to school the same day; even though he gave us a doctors note, my daughter felt well enough to go back to school. The staff were fabulous chatty and knowledgeable; Ill recommend Dr. Crossnoe and the Amarillo bone and joint family to everyone.

To say that I am pleased with the care I received from Dr. Bradshaw and his team is an understatement. I have dealt with patellofemoral pain for approximately 20 years. I was at a point where I hurt daily. I was unable to walk up and down stairs without significant pain. I realized I needed to seek intervention when I was unable to stand up from the floor holding my toddler without my knee buckling due to pain. As a physical therapist I want to seek out all conservative measures prior to undergoing surgery. I was no longer able to manage my pain and needed help. I am so thankful my friend and colleague Lindsay Meyer, PT, DPT made me go see Dr. Bradshaw. His approach at treating patellofemoral pain is far superior to any surgeon in this area. He is extremely detail oriented which makes my PT heart happy. I am happy to say that 5 months out of surgery I have very minimal pain. My incisions are beautiful (Thanks Sam). My pre-surgical pain is gone. I am able to walk up and down stairs with minimal limitations. I can get up and down from the ground with my son with no pain. I hope to return to recreational running as soon as I am strong enough. The care I received from my PT Lindsay was excellent. She is the only person I would trust to rehab me post surgically. She has an invaluable working relationship with Dr. Bradshaw. If I had any issues they were in direct communication. It is wonderful to know that a surgeon will coordinate care with a PT as well as he did. The girls Samatha and Juana are precious and were never annoyed when I would call with questions. They were always so sweet when I was in the office. There are no words I can use to express how grateful I am to Dr. Bradshaw and his team for taking such great care of me. I will not hesitate to call him when my other knee starts to fail. Thanks guys!

Working with Joy and Dr. Risko for years. They have always put my health first and explained things at a level I could understand and accept. Knee replacement went without a hitch and the follow up care has been amazing. Now, working with the rehab team and they are just as caring as the rest of the staff at Bone and Joint. I wish I could give all the staff here more than five stars as I look forward to many more years of a fantastic, caring relationship. Thank you all for making my life better.

My son fractured his forearm while at summer football camp this year. We were referred to Amarillo Bone & Joint and I am so thankful that we were!!The office is fairly new. The waiting room is very spacious with ceiling to floor windows (which I love), 2-3 flat screen T.Vs one that is playing the news and the other usually has cartoons on for the younger patients. The office staff has always been courteous and professional. The medical staff has always been excellent!!! We were not seen by the Dr. we were seen by his PA Mindy. She was AMAZING!!! From the very beginning Mindy was SO warm, comforting, and had excellent bedside manner. We expected to be in the cast for a month. We are going on week 7 and we are 100% on board with that. Mindy is a mother and views her patients as if they were her own when she treats them. She went over the X-Rays in detail all 3 times and answered my questions as well as my 9 year old sons questions.I highly recommend this practice!!

Love the surgeon, love his nurse, however getting in is extremely hard. Took 4 months to get an appointment. Got X-rays, MRI, was on waiting list the complete 4 months. Day finally arrived and due to weather, doctor cancelled and now I’m back on wait list, with an appointment date a month later. Really wanted to use Dr. Veese. He did my left rotator Cuff 18 months ago with awesome results. However this is ridiculous.

Run from this place, Surgeon seemed to do a decent job with what he did. That said, Dr. Bradshaw, i dont know if he is a stand up guy or not. The rest of the staff is rude and is overpaid if over minimum wage. They treat patients with disrespect. Very disappointed in Amarillo Bone & Joint office. After stating what the plan was for my shoulder they charged me an amount they came up with. Fine i agreed. After surgery they changed the amount upwards over $1000 because they misdiagnosed the injury. At the next appointment i was told they didnt have to do part of the procedure. No decrease in charge. (By the way the Physical Therapists were great but their reception is rude and not a people person either.)

Follow up for my 80 year old mother after hip replacement and femur repair that was done in Lubbock. We went here because Dr. Risko did such a fine job on her knee replacement years ago in Lubbock. The office is nice, clean, accessible, professional, x-ray staff efficient & compassionate. The doctors are moving quick but spend time explaining things and answering questions. I will use this group if my mother or I need orthopedic care, without a doubt.

Like most parents I would like to have the best possible care for my son, I wouldnt know if the doctors here could provide that because I could not get past the rude office staff! Very unprofessional, dont waste your time. Having a child with a fracture is stressful enough without having to feel like you are putting some one out by just trying to make an appointment. I did speak to an office manager concerning the way I was treated and after that the doctor would not accept my son as a patient. Typical politics....there are plenty more choices of professional, caring doctors in Amarillo...be wise and go somewhere else!

This is the worst, most unprofessional clinic in Amarillo Texas! I waited for 2.5 weeks for an appointment. On the morning of my appointment we called the office at 7:50 am and were told that the phones wouldn’t be on until 8:05. My husband asked the answering service how long to get to the clinic on an appointment and they said 15 minutes. We arrived within this scheduled amount of time. I have a bad knee and by the time I walked to the front desk even though my husband had called they said they couldn’t see me and cancelled my appointment! I am in severe pain with limited mobility and use of my knee and this is how I got treated!!!! Absolutely ZERO consideration!!!! Do NOT use these people!!!

I love Dr Kendall and the girls at the front desk are professional and friendly. Ive had three surgeries by Dr Kendall, and the problems I have encountered with the last two were merely a result of my failure to follow Doctors Orders given to me during the discharge process. I had surgery on both feet 5 days ago. I advise all of you contemplating any type of foot surgery to employ Doc Kendall to fix your problem, but then strictly follow doctors orders! He does very good work, Im just a bad patient! And do yourself a favor by taking someone to be your designated driver that will also be attentive when the nurse thoroughly goes over everything during discharge. You likely wont remember any part of it.
