I had the best experience with the clinic today! I had the pleasure of speaking with Mercedes. First of all her voice was lovely & welcoming, she was very very professional & sweet. And even though we spoke for a few moments she was able to connect me to the right person I had been playing phone tag with. Mercedes truly made my day better by simply treating me with respect & kindness & helping me get my issues resolved. Thanks a bunch!

I had an appointment today and every single person i came in contact with was so sweet, kind, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff for check in and out was amazing. The nurses were so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I saw a new doctor Dr Nawaz and he was amazing too. He was very kind and helpful for taking the steps to make me feel better.in the past i have also had nothing but positive experiences and everyone has always been amazing. I highly recommend this place.

I had an appointment scheduled here far in advance and had forgotten which building I was supposed to be in. When I called to ask, I was explaining that I was the parking lot and had no idea which building to go to. Before I could finish speaking, I was rudely interrupted by the operator and didnt catch what she said because I was still speaking. When I asked her to repeat herself, she raised her tone and began talking to me slowly as if I wasnt intellectual enough to understand her.I called again today about equipment and was explaining if I could turn in the equipment later. Before I could finish, the operator said one moment and just transferred me. To who? Im not sure because I got transferred again without any explanations. The customer service here is poor and needs refinement. I wish I wouldve gotten names but I hope I never have to call this clinic again.

Charise Pekar led me to Dr. Nawaz who gave me answers for my issues. I was given instructions for my procedure. Whitney continuously referenced Charise for the instructions. Charise went over my prep instructions. I only trust Charise. I observed Whitney with other patints and she doesnt know what she is doing. I used to work the medical field and I know what to look for.

Dr. Lusby is an outstanding physician. I will continue to see him, but I have to agree with all of the negative comments about the office staff at the diagnostic clinic. Today I was actually lied to about whether a NP was in. I was told to wait for a call this morning from someone I later found out isn’t even working today. It is baffling why they treat patients with such inconsideration, but these negative reviews speak the truth. I saw the NP a MONTH ago, and my scrip still is not called in. I’ve tried for days to get help, but I can’t even trust that I’m getting honest responses to my questions anymore. Beyond my comprehension.

I just left their office after having taken an entire day off from work making a three hour drive to Amarillo. I get the the office 30 minutes before my appointment. I get your supposed to be here 45 minutes before to check in. Ill check with the doctor and see if theyll still see you. Ten minutes later no hell have reschedule (after a three hour drive), I will not be rescheduling. I tried to explain to the receptionist that the forty-five minutes was not explained and another patient told her the same thing. She wouldnt hear it, said I wont argue with you about it and basically, said talk to the hand. I would say she was being a real female dog but that wouldnt be fair to the dog.Ill give you a tip ADC if you want people there on your timing, one simple thing could fix it all. Here it is, set you appointment to start when their forty-five minutes away from seeing the doctor, and then everyone is there before they need to be. See you should never expect your patients to read your mind. Giving them times and not explaining their meaning is not giving information, its sewing confusion. Also it creates a whole new group of people that through word of mouth can shut down the clinic youve worked so hard to build. People like your organization prove that the hippocratic oath means nothing and your in it for the money and the power trip it gives you. You will never be recommend by me or anyone I know, believe me. The days of actually caring about the sick and dying is no more, its all about what you like and what keeps you on track to get home at the right hour for dinner and your favorite sitcom.Yesterdays are gone when doctors cared about their patients, those that were sick and dying in need of Medical Care. If that receptionist is the face of your business I hate to see the rest of you cuz you dont treat people like that. If thats how you think you should run a medical facility shame on you you need to rethank you priorities and reorganize what youre doing. Dont expect your patience to be able to read your mind and understand when you give them what seem like arbitrary times and dont explain the situation to them.I hope your business survives and you learn from these reviews, but I doubt it. I was always told all the way through to my masters degrees that college was really there to help you learn how to learn and how to critically think, I guess all of you all missed those days in class, your business runs like youre trying to herd cats, while thinking theyre cows. Learn from your mistakes your, ignorance is blaring good day ladies and gentlemen.A concerned citizen in need of medical attention that he couldnt get from an inept medical staff,Dustin Farmer MA, MFA

After reading reviews, I am taken aback. Dr. Johnson listened to everything I was concerned about, did his research & literally treated me like his closest friend. Put my concerns to rest & got my treatment program running smoothly. The office staff has ALWAYS been respectful & kind. I have NEVER waited more than 5 minutes for anyone to help me. I highly recommend this clinic!

I have been a patient at the Diagnostic Clinic for about 15 years and I have seen different doctors for different reasons. I have never had a rude encounter with any staff. All of the doctors I saw were very professional and kind. I regularly see Dr. Beggs and he and his staff are awesome. When I moved to Medicare, there was no problem whatsoever. No one should ever be rude to anyone who comes in there, but the entire place should not be judged by one incident.

I walked in about 1 Is 2 minutes after the appointment time & they had me fill out a COVID form & took my temperature. That made it 5 minutes late to the receptionist desk. The receptionist told me I would have to wait until she talked to the Dr to see if they would see me. Set out front for 25 minutes to finally let me go back. I think they’ve forgotten where their paycheck comes from.

I’m pregnant and called 2 month before I even had my first seizure, because if you’ve had a past of seizures they are likely to arise when pregnant, and they continued to tell me they were just going to wait till something serious happened! Okay, so I have a seizure 2 months later and come to find out the doctor told me it probably could have been prevented if I just had called earlier.... hello... I did!!! Next they up my dosage and I can’t bug them enough to call the pharmacy and tell them they did! Haha you think they would learn the first time but nope. I can’t get them to call the pharmacy again and tell them they raised my prescription and it’s been 3 days! Btw if you expect results soon on any test from them you better think again because just on a simple lab that takes maybe a day to get back it took them two weeks and all they told me from the lab results was “yap, we need to up your dosage.”

I have been a patient of Dr. Lewis for over 10 years. I absolutely loved his office staff, before he moved to the Diagnostic Clinic. He and Tiffany are still wonderful and I cant help but believe if they knew what was going on up front they would be appalled!! It takes days, if even then, to get a call back from the nursing staff and when they do finally call they rarely actually follow through with what they are supposed to be doing. I have been waiting 4 days now for a return phone call and when I call back, am told they are just really behind and there isnt anything I can do about it. I have been told 2 days in a row that I am 8th in line???? I have been prescribed 2 medications that I can not start because the nursing staff and front office staff simply wont do their jobs. Sad, sad, sad.

If you are referred to a dr. In this group ask for someone else. Front staff rarely at their desk. Then treat you like an inconvenience. Then you pay and get sent back to dr.s office space to wait. The lab personnel are plenty but must draw a short straw to take blood or otherwise, then they bruise me or stab my husband 3 or 4 times before finding a vein. Try to call in for an appointment or speak to dr. Or nurse, expect to be on hold at a minimum of 8 minutes before someone picks up. Then they will only pass message on.

My name is Richard Bell. I was referred to Dr. Thomas Baker, at Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic, by my primary care physician. Since December, 2015, I have had bronchitis, pneumonia, fatigue, and other flu like symptoms. After several rounds of antibiotics and rest, I was still very ill. On March 15, 2016, I had my first consultation with Dr Baker. I was diagnosed with hypogammaglobuminemia. It is an immune disorder and congenital birth defect, which has gone undiagnosed for years. It is s very serious condition. However, Dr Baker stated that my case, wasnt that severe. He put me on a round of antibiotics and I complied with the treatment plan. However, since seeing him, I have missed at least two days of work every week. He filled out my FMLA intermittent paperwork from my employer. I was shocked to learn that he stated I could only be ill once every three months for two days. I begged him to change it, as my employer is close to terminating me, due to my illness. They have a no fault absence policy. He revised it to one episode every six weeks for two days. The only problem is I have been extremely ill. Unfortunately, Dr. Baker has dismissed my phone calls for help and updates of my illness. Today, April 15, 2016, I had a follow up appointment. Dr. Baker stated that my lungs sounded worse and also diagnosed me with asthma. I told him of my symptoms, chronic cough, fatigue, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, a cyst on my left kidney causing extreme pain, blood in my urine, pain in my private area, and swollen joints. He said, You are not as sick as you think you are. I begged him to listen to me. He stated that he was. He said, I cant make you run, jump up and down, and feel better, all I can do is treat your infections. The only problem is he isnt helping me. Then, i was shocked when he stated I never want to see you again. I was so upset I told him the same thing. I dont know when doctors lose their compassion, but sometimes they do lose it, but as badly as I was treated by Dr. Baker, I wish him a better physician than he was to me. One day, he might find himself on the other side of the waiting room as a patient. I think what he did to me was dehumanizing, reprehensible, immoral and a completely unacceptable act. It may even be criminal. In conclusion, I strongly recommend another pulmonary disease specialist. Dr Baker isnt qualified to deliver exceptional patient care.Richard Bell, AS, BA

I was told by my Irthopedic Surgeon that I probably needed to see a Neroligist. Well, forget about Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic wanting to help you. I called to complain about Dr. Sean Milligan who refused to see me because I had already seen Dr. Lawrence Schaeffer of Amarillo. I was basically told too bad, so sad. No help at all. Was told there was nothing they could do. They were sorry I had a crippling neurological problem but there was absolutely nothing they could do. They suggested I call the Potter-Amarillo Medical Society to file a complaint. I called and was told to just deal with it!!!

I was very happy with Dr. Ellington until he said that I didnt have Chrons and all of the tests in the Hospital showed I did, even the Sonogram. After being in the Hospital for 2 weeks for Crohns, Diverticulitis and Ulcerated Colitis I had lost over 30 lbs. I was so sick when I had appointments with my Colon and my back as well. I had to reschedule several appointments do to having to be close to my bathroom and couldnt move due to Abdomen and back pain from a serious car wreck. I had even been in the Hospital a couple of times and called to inform the office. I was dropped by Dr. Todd Ellington and all Dr.s at Amarillo Diagnostics, when I had real reasons to reschedule. Plus they quit taking Medicaid. Going to Lubbock is too difficult and a hardship on me and my family. I desperately need a Colonoscopy and a Endoscopy, but I am unable to do what I have to before the procedures and travel to Lubbock from Amarillo Texas. I think that there should be a Law for all Dr.s unless Cosmetic to accept all types of Insurances. Dr.s are supposed to become Dr.s to help all people and not just the Rich or with better Insurance Policies.I have decided to get a Malpractice Attorney, after discovering that as long as I followed directions, had all test done including my Colonoscopies done when scheduled and the last time I should have been scoped from the top too and wasnt. I was very happy there up until 2011 or 2012. Im not positive about the date I was dropped, with no Official reason in the letter I received. These doctors start out taking Medicaid and Medicare, then after they have more patients who pay cash or has insurance those of us on Medicare or Medicade are dropped!!What ever happened to the OATH DOCTOR DO NO HARM???
