I love how they treat my children the girls are very attentive and kind and the dentists do an excellent job. Making sure that the children are comfortable and relaxed and at all times they make sure to ask the child if he is well. Thank you very much to all dentists for doing a wonderful job!! The best experience we’ve had. We went to smile workshop for sealants my 3yo son and they were not able to sedate my son. In the end they said we would just need to go to Amarillo Pediatric Dentistry. The hygienist said they would call and let them know we were coming. They never called Amarillo Pediatric. They best thing smile workshop did for us was sending us to Amarillo Pediatric. All the ladies were very sweet and my son loved it! They got us in and out! I will continue to take my babies to this facility! Thank you

Best dentistry in Amarillo. The dental tech was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable while cleaning my daughters teeth. Dr. Eric is a very nice gentleman and made my 5 yo daughter very comfortable while looking at her teeth. She usually wouldn’t let them but this time was a great experience for the both of us. Yesterday my daughter had a spill on her bike and needed to be seen immediately. The team at APDO got her in right away and handled it all so well. The level of care here is amazing & they know exactly how to assess a situation and make everybody feel comfortable during procedures. I love the receptionists. They are very friendly and personable. We wouldn’t go anywhere else but here!

This is the best place to take you’re child!!! They were amazing with my 5 year old who is usually terrified of the dentist. Camryn was working with the dentist (who was also amazing) and helped keep my daughter super calm and distracted from her tooth being pulled. Also being able to go back and sit with her really helped me feel 100% comfortable with the whole experience! I’ll never take her anywhere else for dental work ❤️

I am always pleased with every staff at this dentist. We have been with you all since my first son and now I have 3 boys. Everyone helps the children feel safe and calm while being at the dentist office!

Staff are friendly, including the dentists. Appointments are started within a few minutes of scheduled time, but they have always been able to work us in for the extras that need done beyond cleaning and exam. Very kid friendly. Clean and appealing facility. I have always been able to get an appointment that fits my schedule within a reasonable lead time.

My son typically don’t like going to the doctor and I was sure this was going to be a nightmare! But my son went right in and was so good the entire time! Would highly recommend this place!

I don’t think I can fully express how AMAZING this place is. Yesterday was my daughters first ever appointment with this office and we were blown away! So friendly from the moment you walk into the door, it feels like you know each of the staff members for years. They kept my daughter calm and comfortable during the entire visit, Dr. Kemp is incredible! Going to the dentist usually isn’t a fun experience or a fun memory but they sure do make it fun! 💕

Dr. Ross is a true professional! He is having to correct things my prior orthodontist didn’t not do on a previous 18 month treatment and I am thankful for that! The atmosphere and the energy are so positive and so amazing. Blessed to have been referred by Jackie that works there whose smile attracted me to use Dr. Ross. Absolutely would recommend to anyone. 10/10

First, this dentist office really does cater to children very well, but as a parent I am highly disappointed in the effort that was put forth towards my son oral care. My son went in to have his teeth cleaned today and while we were in the area getting his teeth cleaned the hygienist asked if we had dental insurance. I replied to her that yes we had dental insurance but we had met our out of network maximum so I would be paying out of pocket. The hygienist starts to work on my son but never uses a scale or cavatron or and equipment to remove tarter or any build up from my sons teeth. The hygienist put the polish on a toothbrush, basically brushes my son’s teeth we an ordinary toothbrush, then rinses his mouth with water and say’s “I’ll go get the doctor.” She never flossed his teeth, never used any kind of equipment to truly polish or clean his teeth, nothing. The doctor looks at him and we go to leave, the hygienist walks us to the checkout counter where I am told my out of pocket expense is $200. I am perfectly fine with paying that if the service would have been done to my satisfaction, but it was not. After leaving I started to recall how my dentist office cleans my teeth and some things just didnt seem right. You might ask, “well, if you have a dentist why would you bring your child to another office?” That is because my dentist office no longer works on children’s teeth, only adults. I paid $100 of the $200 bill after his cleaning and will pay the rest when it is billed to me next month, but I will never set foot in that office again. If I am paying you $200 dollars to clean my sons teeth I expect things to be done to my satisfaction. We were not in the exam area more the 20 minutes maximum. I have also made a formal complaint at the state level about their procedure. Again I dont care about the money, but things will be done to my satisfaction.Aaron Gray

I went in today with my daughter for a consult but they said it was such an easy procedure they could extract her extra tooth right then! The staff was so sweet and so patient with her which made it so easy for her to remain calm I doubt she even noticed them pulling her tooth, we were in and out in a little over an hour! Absolutely amazing!!!

We LOVE it here. My three year old feels like a princess and leaves so happy every time we come. They gave her an electric toothbrush, a toy and a sugar free sucker. It’s like Christmas every time! Each person we have worked with has been great. Highly recommend them.

Our two visits to Amarillo Pediatric Dentistry were beyond amazing all the staff go beyond measures to explain everything they do and are going to do they made sure we got the best treatments and services from the moment we walked in to the moment we left and much more after they called to check up on my daughter after surgery they are truly amazing and if we ever have to get more dental work done for our other children we will definitely be going back .I recommend them to anyone and everyone they make the kids worry free and make sure they are well taken care of plus they get to choose toys of their choice our time there not one child had a frown or looked worried and their staff made sure of that! APDO has some of the best Dentists and dental hygienists! They are all so friendly & make my kids feel at ease getting their teeth taken care of. Dr. DeVries even sings to my kiddos and makes it so much more enjoyable for them. Definitely a great place to take your kiddos.

My kids have been a part of the APDO family since they were toddlers. Yesterday my daughter had 3 teeth extracted AND braces put on. Dr kemp and Dr Moore were amazing. The made it a calm experience. Dealing with my 4 and 3 year old is never easy, but they sure made it look easy! They both loved the environment. Lots to look at on the walls and great movies to keep the kids tame. :D

My youngest is 4 and is autistic with a speech language disorder. So new experiences, new places and new environments can be very overwhelming for him. We had his first check up here yesterday and the staff is absolutely amazing! They didn’t push him beyond what he was comfortable with. They were patient, they were kind, they listened to him and talked about his interests. They made him feel welcomed and loved and cared for, and as a mom that is the best feeling in the world. His first visit he was able to let the hygienist and dentist both count his teeth and we got some fluoride on them! He got overwhelmed a couple of times, but they let him have his time which in turn led to a fantastic first experience for him! I’m so thankful for the staff at APDO and the amazing patience and care they have for their patients!

Gracie did amazing...she loved the clinic before we even walked through the door. It is very kid friendly with lots of art work and the staff is always so kind and loving here. Dr. Moore did a great job and the techs are superb in making your child feel safe and comfortable!

We had a complication with scheduling. There was some miscommunication between the Lubbock office and the Amarillo office that made our appointment get cancelled but thankfully I called the day before. It was frustrating since It’s not easy to get a day off work and at that point we had to reschedule but after talking to someone higher up, I know that they did everything in their power to fix the problem. My sons surgery day went absolutely perfect! His surgery lasted less than 20 minutes and there was minimal pain even in the days after! My son is super scared of the dentist and they really worked with us on that :) I highly recommend

Loved the experience, only negative thing was there were multiple families that had children walking around without shoes on. Just a little concerning during a pandemic.

Great place...if you have a child under 13, they treat older kids as well, this is the place. Other pediatric dentist seem older and not really capable of taking the parents needs as well as the childs needs into account. We went to 4 different dentist before we found these guys! I love this place. Everyone is always completely professional. They dont judge you and they do their best to ease your concerns because they actually do want you to feel comfortable.

They are always so good with my daughter. She even got to try the big girl chair out last visit! Doctors are all very friendly and the rest of the staff as well.

I loved this dentist at first. Friendly atmosphere and kind staff & very kid friendly. Then we kept getting a different person each visit. Had to explain each time that our son was disabled and what was going on. They are quick to brush off our concerns as they mean nothing. Although I know they have tight schedules, I wish they would listen to our concerns and take what we have said in to consideration.

So this place can be pricey but you can not beat their promptness and true dedicated work. I loved the staff so sweet we had surgery at six abs were on our way home by 830

APDO is amazing! We got my son braces in January and he has had so much progress since getting them. We are so happy with everyone at the office. They are doing a great job!

So far so good! We got referred here due to my daughter having A LOT of dental issues from a past dentist doing bad work. They cleaned her teeth and were very nice. Wait times have been reasonable and excellent. We opted to do all her dental work at once under anesthesia to get her pain and problems under control while minimizing what she had to go through. The surgery center had amazing staff. We had ZERO wait time to get her taken back, and her surgery was fast and thorough. They took their time to talk to me about everything and were very understanding. I will be bringing all 3 of my kids here from now on. Thank you for giving me faith that there are good dentists out there that actually do care!

Second time there. We went in the left door (there are two front doors). There was a two receptionists and one line. I wasnt sure if I was at the correct entrance. I went to the receptionist without a line to ask if I was I in the right place (there are two front doors, two check ins), She said I needed to wait in line to check in. I let her know I just needed to know if I was on the correct side. And again she said yes, that there is a line and quite a wait infront of me and for me to get back in line. So I got back in line. My appointment was at 2:45. I arrived at 2:30. When I finally got to the front of the line and told them my childrens names, I was told I was in the wrong side and to go check in at the other entrance. I explained the lady next to her told me twice to get in line and wait and I asked to speak to an office manager. She never got a manager to me. I went to the other entrance to check in and asked what time it was. I was told it was 2:58. I again explained myself and again asked for an office manager and again spoke to no one. Finally going back with my kids I was asked about my kids dental situations and how my day was going. And again explained to another (the third) employee about what happened and she finally said she worked with administration herself and would speak to the receptionist. The staff in the back is great but not happy with the receptionist at all. I stood in line for almost a half hour after being told I had quite a wait by a condescending receptionist and getting no resolve the first two attempts at speaking with office manager.
