Dr Beltre and his staff treated me with professional from beginning to end. I called their office and was promptly assisted to see if my insurance covered bariatric surgery and from there went ahead with my consultation. I had surgery 07/2020 now 1 year later I will say it was the best decision to choose Dr Beltre I’ve had no complications and I had minimal recovery time and I’ve lost well over 100 pounds living a healthy and active life

I had my surgery June 9th and the whole process was perfect. Everyone was so helpful and informative. I’m thankful I’m able to change my lifestyle.

I would like to know which insurance this doctor take? Or which insurance the patience have to get approve. I see a lot of good reviews for him and also my sister in law recommend him. Please help

I was sleeved August 4th 2021! Best decision of my life. Dr Beltre did an excellent job! His staff was friendly and they know there stuff. I had minimal gas pain that Gas X and walking and sipping took care of after about 2 days. I only took pain meds the 1st day out of the hospital, never had to take them again. Even met someone who also used Dr Beltre and had the same results through a support group on FB. Would highly recommend Dr Beltre! No Complaints and already down 32 pounds.

I was referred to Dr Beltre by my sister who spoke highly of him and was even more impressed after reading these reviews, however I contacted his office over a week ago called twice gave my same information and was told that someone would contact me ( no phone call) called again today spoke to the same lady she asked the same question my birthday/ insurance carrier I was so frustrated I told her never mine. This really upsets me, I had hopes of meeting the Dr. to hopefully get started on my new journey and now to to have people being very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I will continue my search with finding a Dr and staff that really cares an can help me.

As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your family and as soon as you hit the 6 months they tell you they basically messed up on your insurance and is not covered, making waste money for 6 months and of course non refundable!!!! Making you waste your time and your money.. At the end of the day they said is not there fault is insurance… having you call there office, insurance, there office, insurance.. 😡 would never do business with them again!!!

Dr.Beltre was exceedingly professional throughout the treatment. He spent a tremendous amount of time educating me. Orlando Health Center was extraordinary in the level of personal care that they delivered.From the moment I got into the Waiting room,where there was wonderful music playing,and a Welcoming employee, to the nurses and radiology, all was wonderful!The surgery went well. Dr.Beltres written instructions backed up all that he told me. The medications,carefully parsed out, were a tremendous help to me. Home for 3 days, I have already lost 6.2 lbs. God bless him! I am sorry I waited 64 years for this!!!

Surgery 1/16/20 - The process was so smooth, Dr. Beltre explained everything thoroughly & provided me all the steps to get my surgery done within a reasonable time period. My scars are MINIMAL compared to people I know who had the surgery with other surgeons. I’ve had absolutely no complications & have lost a substantial amount of weight. I’ve referred multiple people to him, knowing they are going to get the best care possible!

Im 50 years old and I was almost 400 pounds. I had the Gastric Sleeve Surgery August 2017 by Dr. Beltre and his Wonderful caring staff. I am now under 200 pounds and Ive kept it off for two years just look at my pictures Awesome & I didnt have to have any excess skin removed a Tummy Tuck or anything and I didnt do any exercising except walk my dog because of an Ankle injury. this surgery literally saved my life because of my unmanageable health problems due to my weight ie High Blood Pressure and Rods and Screws in my ankle that all bent because of my size (Ouch) and I could barely walk . I was Gorgeous as a Big Woman but Now Im Gorgeous and Healthier. It also feels Awesome to feel Stuffed with smaller amounts of food.FYI my Friend had surgery in the DM and they left tools inside of her and she almost died and her Scars Mentally and Physically are Horrible. I had to add this as a personal warning because of what she went through.

Awesome Doctor, staff and Doctor are both caring at what they do. Had my Gastric Sleeve Surgery on September 25 2015 and although nearly a year later from 266 lbs. I went to 186 lbs. From a 2lg to a medium in shirts and size 20 in pants to a 13 today I cry back because after all my hard trouble to loose this weight I regained it back after putting an IUD that didnt work at all for me. I got pregnant with this IUD as much as I was told to avoid getting pregnant. Withing a year after this surgery. I went and took the steps and measure to avoid a pregnancy to soon learn that in August 2016 I was pregnant almost close to my year anniversary of my surgery and 8 weeks into my pregnancy boom 💣💥💣💥💣💥 all my efforts went down the drain today 5/19/2018 Im back to square one☝ 1⃣ with 248 lbs back on me after having my baby 👶I dont understand why! I am looking forward to seeing Doctor Beltre Wiljon again to see if I qualify for the second surgery again or what options I have. My health is back to trash again and my depression is at all times high cause of this and no support from my husband at all had he listen to me, I wouldnt be going through this again! I have faith that I will be back to loosen this weight and regaining my health back!

The doctors has awesome bedside manner, but my gastric sleeve was a fail. He did not use the bougie, therefore I was left with the question, was that the reason for the fail.I only lost 39 pounds out of 214. I recently spoke to another surgen he also had the question as to“ How did he do surgery without that? My question as well, now that I know what that is. He did same surgery on 2 friends and they were a success, so what happened to mine? Why won’t he fix it pro bono since apparently it was not done right.

I had my surgery September 7th 2017 and it was the best decision for me. November 7th will mark 14 months since the surgery. My start weight was 338 and I am currently 152.4 lbs. When I had the surgery hurricane Irma was happening and Dr. Beltra called me personally to make sure I was ok because he knew I had no power. The staff are awesome along with Dr. Beltra. Again I am so grateful for Dr. Beltra and his staff!!

I live in ohio so I didnt know what to expect . I was so nervous. The staff was amazing the dr was awesome. I had my surgery 4/10/18 I lost 55lbs in almost 3 months. Even after my surgery i called with a concern...and the dr told me what to do. Im so pleased . I never write reviews but i just had to because so far I couldnt be happier.. trust me choose him.

I had sleeve surgery 7 months ago. Ive only lost 20 lbs. I went for a follow up apt last week explaining that I can only consume protein to loose weight. I dont have the willpower to only drink shakes and eat 0 carbs. Who can only drink shakes? I looked to doc for help. He just shrugged hi shoulders and said it will happen. I expect more from a bariatric physician. I was disappointed he told me to make sure I get in my 60 grams of protein.... And my last follow-up it was determined that I need 100 grams of protein a day to lose weight. I dont feel like he really has an interest in trying to help me. He could have at least read my chart to freshen his memory and since Im not the easy patient who coukd loose weight simply because I had the surgery...then i guess i dont get weight loss results. When I consume food that I can chew I can only eat very little maybe 4 oz, he definitely removed most of my stomach... Which I didnt doubt that... But I just want the help I need to get to a healthy weight and I want him to be interested in figuring this out. I am his patient.

Dr Beltre is the most kindest, understanding, and very professional Dr I have ever met.I had a gastric by-pass 10 years ago and the 1st Dr didnt do it right. Dr Beltre fix the mess Dr Bell did but , every visit at Beltre my questions and concerns fully answer, and reassure. I never once left with unanswered questions or unease he is a very in detail man. Also some Dr treat u as a patient and only there for the money, Beltre actually takes the time to give his one on one undivided attention and establish a real patient and Dr relationship, he doesnt give you three seconds of his time and goes on to the next patient. He really enjoys being a doctor and gastric surgeon. He doesnt make you feel like hes in for the money. And he is a pleasant man to deal with.The hospital where he does his surgery the place is beautiful and everyone is welcoming and everything was smooth and got my post- op and blood work done no problem. Also they have amenities to make sure that your loved ones are as comfortable as you are and an app so that your family can follow you in surgery the whole entire way. My After care was amazing and Beltre always kept checking in. My incisions were beautifully done no scarring whatsoever.So I write this review with fully telling you I recommend dr. Beltre to everyone. I walk around telling my success story and always recommend Dr Beltre. My husband was done 3 weeks before me and got a full gastric bypass himself, and he also to recommends Beltre to everyone. This was his first time getting surgery or ever being in the hospital and he went in Full Throttle no problem cuz Beltre made it that comfortable for him, My husband was mad with one thing!!! He didnt go sooner lol. Also his assistant Batel she is the most wonderful woman shes the to go to woman I love her to death. She definitely goes to all length for you.
