The office staff is so kind and helpful. They schedule patients so the wait is not long. Dr. Lugo is so kind and explains everything in detail. The eye doctor I had in Fort Myers was always so rushed and so was the staff so this is a great difference in how to run a caring practice.

Dr. Lugo has been my familys ophthalmologist for 15 years. He and his office personnel are very professional, caring, and compassionate. Everyone is very friendly. Dr. Lugo conducts in depth eye exams and carefully explains you everything he does. He is very gentle and extremely knowledgeable. When my daughter was little she had trouble seeing - all of a sudden. We took her to see Dr. Lugo and he attended to her very gently. He noticed an obstruction of the optic never and send up to a specialists. He was concerned but never let us feel the emergency. He managed to transfer us to a specialist very quickly and remained extremely professional and caring during the entire process. It turned out to be idiopathic intracranial hypertension. He called us to check on us while we went to the the specialist. He was so caring. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Wasn’t in, receptionist was rude, uncaring. Uncaring in the medical profession is the worst you can be. I see that i am not the only one with this complaint. I was a potential new patient. Now instead of telling everyone about how great the dr is i have to tell them about his awful receptionist.

Have had many surgeries preformed by Dr Lugo and he has been my corneal specialist over 15 years. There isn’t any better surgeon or human being. He goes above and beyond. His staff are all exceptional and caring.

Receptionist is rude and dismissive . How does he have himself under as an ophthalmologist but only specializes in corneas and not styes ? I’m glad they can’t help me, they did not give me a welcome vibe

Dr. Lugo is so patient and kind. He really takes time to make sure you understand what he is saying and what the problems are. His staff is absolutely professional and courteous. My grandmother and I had 3 appointments with this office and they were all incredible! We will miss Dr. Lugo and his wonderful staff, especially my grandmother who thinks hes adorable and just loves the staff! Thank you for helping heal my grandmothers cornea! You rock!

If you have a corneal problem this is the doctor you need to see. He is great and has a lot of experience. I choose him even when my insurance didnt cover his office. The wait time is always low and his office staff is great.

I went to Dr. Lugo based on two strong recommendations. Im so glad I did. I couldnt give a higher recommendation for a doctor. Dr. Lugo is the best! It was apparent to me that he and his staff genuinely want the best outcome for their patients. I wish more doctors demonstrated as much concern and positive attitude as Dr Lugo.

Amazing doctor! Went to Dr.Lugo as a recommendation from another specialist. I was misdiagnosed 4 times, it turned out I Had an eye ulcer for about a month, I was in and out of the ER, specialists and doctors. Dr.Lugo was so friendly and made me feel so positive even though I was suffering extremely. He was so understanding and explained everything to me in detail how my treatment will go. Within 2 weeks my eye was healing, and within a month everything went away. In this case peope healing process can take up to 6 months. And mine was much shorter. And on top of that his staff was so sweeeeet! All of the ladies that worked there were extremely welcoming. Thank you Dr.Lugo for everything!
