I grew up under the care of Five Acres. I always have fond memories. Why is their website down and Google lists them as closed? I hope the organization is doing well.

I had came from a hard and difficult environment by the time I had come to 5 acres The staff had to take time to show me what it was to trust people again and they took that time. I give thanks to my psychology at the time Paul Carlos. At some point in time I would like to come back and give back for what theyve done for me . I would like to think all the staff at Sequoia house. Ken Goodman Sr .year was 1979. Also I like to get things to Carol, miss JJ And the staff at Santa Rosa group home

I grew up in a group home. I bet the odds with Five Acres I would have had nothing. I was able to have a safe warm home and food. We took vacations. We were honestly spoiled. It was hard to be away from family but they tried to create a family in our group home. I remember the room. It was not traumatizing for me. I learned my lesson. Im grateful for Five Acres.

When i was a child this place was the most horrible prison for children!Do not belive the lies they feed you.We were mistreated. Mismedicated and abused by staff.I was rescued from this hell and have led a wonderful life after this traumatic chapter of my life. This place should be destroyed. When we mis behaved we were locked in vacant rooms and left for hours. Anyone who claims otherwise I can and will provide documentation of proof.Burn in hell Rod Walding and the others in his five acres mafia!Do not ever let another child suffer the way we did or belive the lies they tell you.I am in the psychological community and my colleagues agree this is a prison for children!
