I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. The Johns Creek location is the one I usually go to and I went in about a month ago to reestablish care and get my medications refilled. She ran a ton of tests and then sent me on my way. None of my medications were refilled and I take antidepressants which when suddenly stopped can cause MAJOR harm to a person. I told her I only had two pills left and needed them refilled. She waited 4 days after my appointment to refill them so I was off them for two full days and was in a panic because it was the weekend. I had called and called and left voicemails for the nurses line and never got a call back. Finally got ONE of the 4 refilled. So here I am calling again yesterday and today trying to find out why they havent been refilled and the nurse at the front just talked over me and transferred me to the back and told me that my whatever drugs were refilled, and she named drugs im not even taking. So I tried to ask a question and she just hung up on me. So I called back very upset and frustrated and the other nurse tried to do the same thing and when I tried explaining to her what I needed she said oh the nurse will have to help you. Once again I had to leave a message. At this point I will be getting my records and finding a new doctor. They are absolutely HORRIBLE and dont care about their patients at all. Its not like im some drug addict trying to get controlled medications refilled. I am just trying to get my thyroid meds and antidepressants, like seriously, if you dont want to help people you shouldnt me in this field.

GreatMy husband and I have had a great experience with Dr. Carpenetti. She spends lots of time with him to be sure he has all his questions answered, and I started seeing her as well. Convenient, pleasant, good service. So surprised to see the negative reviews. Definitely not our experience.

1 Star is too generous. She is the worst, borderline incompetent! My visit was a complete waste of time and money. Not only did she NOT listen, but after testing me for EVERY possible infection she could NOT simply diagnose a SINUS INFECTION!!! I could kick myself for not taking the previous reviews more seriously and sparing myself the pointless interaction I had with her. Lesson learned... and to think she wanted a follow up visit in 2 weeks TUHHHH for what?! Another doctor did what you couldnt, diagnose me and write an antibiotic prescription to clear the sinus infection that I had ALL the symptoms of. NEVER AGAIN! Side note: Her nurse Dawn is FABULOUS! That was the only positive side of my one and only visit.

I am commenting on the Johns Creek location for this physician. From my experience, this one wants to do the least possible, and she has an extremely big mouth. While waiting in an exam room to meet her for the first time--I went to her based on a referral from a friend--I heard her loud and clear outside the door to her nurse, saying: Is this an easy one or a problem one? I could tell the nurse was saying something snarky, as everyone started laughing.Carpenetti replied, Well, you could have lied met with more laughter.I could write more, but I got the distinct feeling she only wants easy patients with no real medical issues. Thats fine, but she should say that upfront, instead of laughing about patients with her nurse, outside the exam room door.Since then, I have found a good PCP, closer to me, who has a great staff and a good bedside manner. The staff at the Johns Creek location is very very busy, all of the time, almost stressed out, but I found the staff very professional. More professional than the doctor herself.

Dr. Carpenetti is our new Dr. She is kind, thorough, and does a great job with any questions we have. And the wait time is not bad, which is really nice. We would recommend her.

UNBELIEVABLY incompetent medical practice. How Dr. Ansu Bhusan can allow all these terrible reviews to continue is insane. I wish Id read them before I went in for a physical. Dr. Carpenetti was professional and personable, but it is clear she is completely detached from anything that goes on beyond her exam room. The dreaded office manager, Darcy, told me Dr. Carpenetti does NOT speak to patients on the telephone. That one comment alone was enough to make me seek another doctor.Where to begin? How about the broken promise to call me with blood results almost a week later - but never did? Upon my calling THEM, I am told all my blood tests were done except one - which just happened to be the one needed to renew my medication. After much unpleasant negotiation with the defensive, immature office manager - Darcy- I was promised a short term prescription and an in-home blood draw to actually do - this time - the blood work needed for my Hashimotos disease, the all important TSH.The blood draw never happened because no one ever called me to schedule it. I called that incompetent Darcy 3 times - all with no return call. The young girl who answers the phone - Emily - as nice as she is, seems to be quite incapable as well. She never followed through when I would call to ask what was going on with my draw. So, after a week, I decided to go in and get my blood drawn in their lovely office. After waiting 30 minutes in the waiting room for a simple blood draw, I ask for Darcy in the hopes she will move this along. Seems she was out of the office and nobody knew what was going on. So I had to step it up and start speaking up. They draw my blood (non-fasting) and only AFTER did they tell me that oh hey! not only did we not test your TSH before, but we didnt do any of your other CBC required blood work! Theyd only done 2 thyroid related tests despite Darcy telling me they tested everything except the TSH. So guess what I get to do a THIRD blood draw mow - while fasting - to FINALLY get my physical CBC needed testing done.Absolutely NO ONE in this office know what they are doing and more importantly, they do not care. The doctors are highly paid employees who are allowing their incompetent staff to ruin their reputation and credibility.I highly suggest that unless you want to incur a mental illness, you find a different medical practice.

I would give zero stars if this was an option. Dr Carpenetti is uninterested in patient care. AVOID this practice altogether. Hopefully their business manager is looking at theses reviews and realizes they have a problem.

Dr. Carpenetti looks deeper than most doctors to figure out what is wrong. I have had a great experience every time I visit.
