We absolutely adore the staff at The Barker Lounge! Theyre so attentive and you can tell that everyone truly cares about the animals. All we have to do is mention barker lounge and our little pup runs and sits at the door waiting to LEAVE to go see her friends!

Both of my dogs have had great experiences at the Barker lounge. The staff is friendly, attentive and caring. I have always felt that my dogs are safe and well cared for and loved at the Barker lounge. Theyre on boarding protocols are very good and they make sure the dog is a proper fit. My dogs always leave happy and exhausted. They also do a fantastic job with grooming.

My pup stayed at the Barker Lounge in Alpharetta for a few days this week. She had a bath also during her stay. I just had to write a review because I am so pleased with the entire experience while she was there. I emailed them several times during her stay because I was missing my pup and had general questions. They responded within the hour and eased all my concerns. My pup came home extremely happy and clean. I can tell from the pictures of her they posted on their Facebook page and from her behavior when I picked her up that they really took great care of her. I’m so happy I chose the Barker Lounge for her stay and I will definitely choose them next time. Plus she will be going to continue playing at their daycare until then :) Thank you to all the staff at the Barker Lounge for caring for Brooklyn so well! From the bottom of my heart I truly appreciate it!

We love Barker Lounge. When my dog arrives, she drags me in the door to go play with her friends. Daycare has been great for her to burn off some energy. Her favorite thing is definitely the “splash pad” (aka water hoses and doggie pools), especially on hot days. When we travel out of town, I have peace of mind that she is in great hands and happy. We love getting her doggie report card. She is always super tired after a fun day or sleepover at Barker Lounge and needs a vacation from her vacation.

My Bubba and Molly go here 2 days a week and absolutely love it. All I have to say is wanna go to school and they run for their leashes and start jumping around with excitement. I would highly recommend the services they provide. They truly love our pets as much as we do!

My dog Apollo has been going to barker lounge since he was 16 weeks old. He is now almost 10 months old and still get so excited when we pull in the parking lot. I think he loves the staff more than me! So glad to have a place I trust to play and watch him when I need to be out of the house all day.

This is the ONLY place we trust our dog. We drive from Kennesaw every vacation to drop our dog here. Nothing compares. Camp Bow Wow employees do not engage with the dogs. They just walk around spraying water bottles at the dogs. Pet Play Place is a little better, but we dont like our dog sleeping there because they dont let the dogs have their blankets and toys. They also NEVER answer the phone. Barker Lounge is nothing but exceptional. They let our Stella have her blanket and toys, they update us as often as we ask, and theyre VERY responsive. They also keep an active Instagram, which we love.

Perfect place to leave your fur family. They take excellent care of them. Great location great staff.

My dog loves to spend the day playing at The Barker Lounge!

I was very pleased with my experience from this company. Julie was very patient with me and my family. She helped me to understand that I play a big role in training my dog. She even worked with my young kids to help them understand how to play a part in the training process. Our puppy got a lot out of the sessions and his behavior has improved 100%. He is like a different dog after being trained at the Barker Lounge. He also loves being there for Day Care. I wouldnt trust my dog to anyone except Julie!

My dog Lucy whines and cries as soon as we park outside the Barker Lounge – she cant contain her excitement! I love taking her there because not only does she get great attention from the staff and socialization with other dogs, but she also gets a ton of exercise outside with the doggie playground they have set up, with doggie pools included to keep them cool in the summer. I love picking her up and taking her home knowing that shes exhausted from a long day of playing. And she always gets a great nights sleep after : )

My dog, Violet, has been going to daycare and boarding at the Barker Lounge in Alpharetta for a few years now and we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! When I tell her it’s a play day she goes absolutely nuts, and while they affectionately know her as “Crazy” they love her and care for her just as I would. Even after I moved another 20 minutes away we never considered trying to find someplace new, I don’t think Violet would forgive me! They are kind, and professional, and treat the dogs like family!

Our dog, Chewy, is turning 1 year old this week and has TONS of energy! We use The Barker Lounge for daycare and boarding and we LOVE it! When we pull up to The Barker Lounge, Chewy cant get out of the car and up the steps fast enough. I love that he gets a full day of exercise and social interaction with other dogs. I know he is in good hands with the wonderful staff there, and i feel comfortable and safe and leaving my dog with them. I would recommend

After visiting and questioning doggy daycare I can honestly say this is a great place. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Clean place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best Doggy Day Care in Town!!! Our dog, Wiley, has so much energy and we wanted to start him up in a day care program where he could get some exercise. We were very nervous about where to take him. We read horrible reviews online about other places but only saw good reviews about this place. We decided to give it a try and see if our dog liked going there. We knew that if he ran up to the door like he does at the park...etc., then it is a good place. We also knew that if he would fight to go in like he does at the Vet, then that would be a bad sign. Wiley gets so excited every time he arrives to day care. This is a very nice family owned business. They even had their daughter up at the store once and she knew our dog right away. That really touched my heart. You can tell that they genuinely care about the pets that come in to stay with them.

Great facility where he can play outside all day, exercise, play with others, meet new friends for socialization, and at the end of the day, come home a very, very happy & tired dog. We LOVE the Barker Lounge! They take great care with our dog, and he comes home tired and happy. The staff is knowledgeable and can give a full report of the day if asked. They definitely supervise the dogs under their care. Kelly is helpful and responsive. We can even have his nails trimmed while hes there if need be. He is excited to arrive, and leaves worn out but happy. And the hours are extremely convenient: 7 to 7 makes our day easy! Thanks, Barker Lounge!

The Barker Lounge is great. We have been taking our 9 month old puppy for the last couple of months. She is so excited to get inside she pulls me up the stairs, and clearly hates to leave she is having so much fun. Shes still a puppy so working on manners and they have been very helpful in that reinforcing things like sit.Highly recommend and were very particular pet owners!

We take our dog Jake to the Barker Lounge and he LOVES IT!!! We are big fans of the BL and really appreciate the fact that we can leave or dog for doggy camp or boarding and know that our pet will get the best care available. We really like the fact that Jake gets to play to his hearts content and that he is not just boarded in a cage when we leave him there and that when he goes to doggy camp, he gets to play with other dogs all day. We are BIG fans and really appreciate the care you provide for our dog.

The Barker Lounge is AMAZING! I use them for boarding, grooming, and day-care. Every time I pick my dog up he is asleep before we get home! The staff is super friendly and I know my dog is in good hands when I leave him there!

Barker Lounge is the best place for boarding and daycare. I had to coax my dog into another local daycare but he runs into Barker Lounge excited for his visit - that speaks volumes! The staff are very friendly, facility is very clean and the owner is usually on site. He always comes home happy and exhausted.

Came here to have my aussie groomed after many not great experiences at other groomers and they did a GREAT job! My dog is not the easiest to deal with and they were so kind. They were even able to provide a lot of helpful tips about training for my very anxious pup. Just booked my second appointment with them :)

I boarded my dog for the first time at The Barker Lounge recently. I was very impressed with the staff and the facility. There is an indoor recreation and socializing area as well as an outdoor one. There was an impressive number of staff on duty and they were all actively involved with the dogs. The dogs are out of their cages most of the day except for eating and rest time. They dont just accept any dog at The Barker Lounge. There is a thorough application and screening process, and they give you a free day care session to evaluate how your dog interacts with other dogs. He did very well, so I was able to board him. I had great peace of mind and confidence that my dog was well taken care of, and he was. I would recommend The Barker Lounge to anyone in need of boarding their dog, or for day care.

We love taking our dogs, Daisy and Ranger, to the Barker Lounge! We have been going for several years now and the entire staff is absolutely wonderful! Sometimes well drop them off for a day of fun, and other times for overnight boarding. We always rest easy knowing that our dogs are being well cared for and having fun with other dogs there. Every time they come home, theyre all tuckered out and just sleep all day. As they say, a tired dog is a happy dog!!!

They are always so friendly at the front desk and our dogs love everyone there. They always get so excited going and I know they are well taken care of!

We love the Barker Lounge! Our dog, Cape, is a big(100lbs), lovable boy. He always to seem to enjoy his visit and comes home completely exhausted from playing! I like that he is not confined to a cage for a long day. He gets plenty of social and exercise time with other dogs. I find it comforting that they are very strict about their vaccine reminders and updates. All the dogs that are socializing together are current with their vaccinations. I highly recommend The Barker Lounge!

I really like them!!I have 2 dogs -- weve had the little one groomed there. They do a great job. He can be difficult, but Ive never had any complaints from them! (Ive had groomers in the past kind of hand him over grumbling and irritated).We bring the big dog there for doggy day care. He loves it! I like how they separate them into levels of energy. So our crazy, full of energy guy goes in the orange group and doesnt bother the chill vibe of the pink group :)I highly recommend them!

They are all very nice people and extremely friendly. My dog Allie loves going to day care here and she comes home happy and tired. The staff love animals and it definitely shows. I have never tried another doggie daycare and its a nice feeling knowing that I wont have to. I highly recommend.

The Barker Lounge is the cleanest doggy daycare I have seen. They know my dog on a personal level and care for her each time she shows up. The people that work at this location are personable and respectable to all. It is a very easy drop-off/pick-up location to which you are in and out. My dog comes home tired after a long day of daycare and cannot wait to go back the next time. I strongly reccommend The Barker Lounge.

My dogs, Barley and Hops, always have a great time at daycare. The staff is so nice and great with the dogs. Hops was a little skittish, but the staff always pay attention to him to make sure he gets over any anxiety. They are great at Barker Lounge!!

Our dog, Cowboy, loves coming to the Barker Lounge. I feel great leaving him there because the staff is so attentive and loving toward the animals. Cowboy runs to the door and cries until it is his turn to get checked in, so I know he loves it and is well treated.

We moved to Duluth, but go back to Alpharetta to bring our dog to daycare and sometimes for boarding! She loves it there and it wears her out! She sleeps all day for a day or two after she gets home! Love this place!

Do not use this place!! I had to go out of town unexpectedly this past weekend and our usual place (Camp Bow Wow which is AMAZING) was full. I decided to take our dog to this place since it had good reviews. The woman on the phone told me to fill out the form online and then call the next day. She said they usually do the meet and greet all day but that I could bring her by at lunch the next day since it was so last minute. The next day I called and called and called and when I finally got an answer, I was rudely told over and over that they dont do that and I was told incorrectly. I was berated like it was my fault and was finally told I guess you can bring her by if you dont have any other option. Which doesnt exactly instill confidence that my dog will be well taken care of. I got there and the woman continues to berate me and then criticized my dogs excitement (new place, new smell, she was excited.) and told me she would be in limited playtime. Thats not why I brought her there. If I wanted her to be caged up all day I would take her to a kennel. BY THE WAY they claim its all day play, but in reality they only get a few hours of play and then they are out in their cages. Its a rotation. Youre paying for a day care but you get a glorified kennel. Finally when my husband went to get her, their systems were down and I he didnt know to remind them that she got a bath and her nails clipped (which, he shouldnt have to.) so I got a call a few hours later rudely demanding I give a card number over the phone to pay for it. This whole experience was a nightmare and the only thing that I learned was to always book at my other place in time.

We have never had a bad experience here. Our dog is always given back well taken care of and best of all dog tired after a full day of play. The staff is hands down the best as well!

I have a great dog by the name of Ajax, he is super sweet but had a really hard start to life. once we got our little guy he had a really hard time leaving our side AT ALL!! so when it came to finding him a daycare so he did not have to sit at home alone while i was at work i did my research!! i ended up picking the Barker Lounge. the first day we went to try it out he did NOT want me to leave him there and it made me cry, but when i picked him up he was happy and passed out as soon as i got him into the car. He has been going to daycare for a while now and dose not even say goodbye to me any more b4 he takes off and tries to get to the playrooms on his own. Seeing him so happy to be there and feeling safe to leave my side makes me feel good about leaving him there and i know he is safe. the Barker Lounge is a great place that is clean and full of wonderful people.

I can’t say enough about the positive experience my dog, Zoë and I have had using the Barker Lounge for doggie daycare. Zoë absolutely loves going and most days is running to the front door even at 7:00am drop off. When my husband and I got married this past November, Zoë was boarded for 10 days. We were given a report card of her eating and play time which was very reassuring. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the best part is they love Zoë. Our dog has been a client there for over 7 months now and attends almost everyday. I highly recommend the Barker Lounge.

Getting my dog into day care always freaked me out as I did not want him to be confined within the barricades. Barker Lounge is has re-defined the doggy day-care and is an ultimate place for dogs to socialize and release all their bundled energy. Its truely a pet paradise.

My Fritz loves this place, everyone is so nice and attentive, they accommodate all of his old dog needs. Fritz loves to go to the daycare and stay overnight.

We travel to outside of Atlanta frequently and when we board our dogs here. The last time we went we were running late because of a wreck on I20. A member of the staff stayed and waited on us 20 mins after they were supposed to close. Our dogs Lincoln and Cleo lovvvve the Barker Lounge!

Our 1yr old pit bull goes to the lounge about 3xs per week. She loves the staff and is always so excited to go play with her friends, right when she walks in the door! My favorite part about The Barker Lounge is the way they seperate dogs in their playards. Once they get to know your dogs personality and play-style, they pair him/her with other playmates that will compliment your dogs character. This is a different process than what we were previously used to at a different doggy daycare location, and has proved itself to be more effective. I leave The Barker Lounge knowing that my dog is going to be surrounded by dog-lovers and well-cared for. Would definitely recommend to others!

My name is Ann Walton, my husband and I have a Chocolate lab named Charlie... like most pet owners, our dog is a member of our family and we love him very much. We visited other daycares and found the Barker Lounge had the upmost standards for our Charlie. They truly care about what they are doing and the care for your pets.After 5 months we now have him enrolled with a trainer who works with him 1 hour a week. She is awesome!!! and has made a difference in Charlies behavior and our lives..Julie has really worked hard with Charlie and we are Grateful for the Barker Lounge in Alpharetta!!! Never ever ever use @thebarkerloungealpharetta My dog, Hudson was kicked out for being dog aggressive... he didnt hurt any other dog. My other dog, Chipper was attacked by a dog and bit in the eye. The best part is, they didnt tell me. I had to call and ask what happened. AND THAT DOG WASNT KICKED OUT. I started taking Tucker, my Black Mouth Cur, to The Barker Lounge when I first moved to Alpharetta. He was still a puppy and couldnt be left home alone in a cage for the 8+ hours I was at work.. I was never hesitant or concerned when I dropped him off at daycare. The staff is AMAZING and all of them truly love animals...He comes home happy and exhausted every single time he goes. I tried a couple of the other doggie daycare places in town just to see what else was out there, but NONE of them even came close to this in cleanliness or doggie engagement. I bee-lined back to the Lounge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We starting taking our puppy, Dex, to The Barker Lounge as we didn’t want him in a crate all day while we were at work. We saw a billboard on Hwy 9 and my husband checked out the location as option for doggie daycare.As a puppy, Dex has lots of energy, however, he comes homes exhausted from doggie daycare at The Barker Lounge! We know he gets tons of play time while he is there and loves to play in the pool in the hot summer months. He literally has jumped out of the car to get inside to see his furry friends and start playing. The facility is very clean and they even offered us a try-us free day to ensure that it would be a good fit for our dog. The staff is AWESOME - you couldnt ask for nicer people and we know they spoil him rotten.Highly recommend them if you are looking for a doggie daycare option for your dog.

We have a 2 year old chocolate lab, Daisy, who was in need of a positive way to release energy...... rather than chew the sofa. We tried a different daycare facility but Daisy seemed to be excited for a week then she came home, almost as if she hadnt even played. Besides Daisy coming home hyper, the facility was NOT clean, it look as if it was barely maintained at all. So, Daisy never returned. She bagan to be destructive in our house, understandable. She was bored and need a positive way to release her energy. We began a what seems like endless search for another daycare center for Daisy, we came upon the Barker Lounge. We signed up online, went into the facility for our interview, and when we picked Daisy up from her interview and she didnt want to leave! SHE LOVED IT! Now everytime we get in the car, she barks and jumps everywhere. she is so excited! The staff is just a joy to be around, they always greet you with a smile and take such good care of all of the customers babies;) along with keeping the daycare facility so clean and everytime you walk in, it smells amazing! Daisy, almost pulling me to the ground, barges in the door because she cant wait to go see all of her buddies at daycare! We absolutley LOVE the Barker Lounge and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with a dog! Thank you Barker Lounge!

I was very disappointed in the groom my dog received. She was cut uneven and the body was almost shaved. I have had my dog for almost 8 years and this is the worse groom she has ever had. They said I could bring her back in so they could try to fix it but if you cut anymore off of her she wont have hair left! I will never bring my dog back here again!!!
