I received the ultimate experience. Kt these experience was in New Orleans, and I just had to try it back home again! Irina is hands down one of the best. I received the lavender and seaweed scrub…yasssssssssssss’. She is wonderful and relaxes you calmly and respects your lady parts!! The scrub had shower… Is OMG!! I would definitely recommend this and I would definitely request Irina!!

Yes, it’s pretty inside and you get the premium treatment, but my massage was prob one of the worst ones I’ve ever received. I asked for a deep tissue massage and just felt like I went in for lotion to be applied. I wish I was exaggerating but sadly I’m mot. I even asked if she could apply harder pressure but it was very odd. Definitely not coming back. it just was not worth it for me.

I’m a huge fan of spas and have been performing mystery shops at spas worldwide for many years. I must say I had one of the most amazing experiences at the Woodhouse Spa in Avalon. I used to visit the Woodhouse Spa in Dunwoody since it’s closer to me, but this facility quickly became my favorite! From the time I stepped into the spa, Nancy at the reception was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and even went above and beyond to comfort me as I was going through some rough times during my first visit. My masseuse, Lana was very professional, efficient and worked to relieve some of my muscle tensions. She even provided some simple stretching exercises after the treatment, which I found beneficial. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the personalized and caring service. The facility was well-maintained, amenities well-thought and kudos to the staff for ensuring a safe environment by executing protocols such as mask mandate, temp check and minimal contact.

I have had so many wonderful services here, mainly massages and pedicures, and all have been quite enjoyable. Madelyn and Brian are fantastic masseuses and Jordan, Michelle and Reese are excellent at nails. Whether I’m in a chatty mood or just want to relax, they have all met me where I’m at and either chatted it up with me or just let me quietly enjoy my service. The premises are always pristine and exactly the relaxing and calming atmosphere you hope to get from a day spa of this caliber. The one constant between each and every service I’ve received is Nancy at the front desk. She is always so kind and cheerful, greeting me with a genuine smile and warm hello. When I’m getting a pedicure, she checks on me and the others multiple times to ensure we are comfortable, have full beverages, and that everything is going as expected. She has suggested some wonderful products that I’ve appreciated but never in a pushy or salesy way. She goes beyond just great customer service, and makes you feel truly pampered and at-home. By not only hiring the best in massages and other spa services, but also meticulously selecting an outstanding front desk/support staff, it is clear that The Woodhouse is dedicated to creating an exceptional experience from beginning to end. I always look forward to my return.

Everyone knows how hard is it to get the mom’s together on the weekend, it takes a lot of effort to coordinate, find sitters, and planning ahead. We booked our massages 2 months ago for the past Saturday’s appointment, got a call on Friday around 4:30pm said two of our appointment got canceled b/c one of the therapist will be out. Those arrangement was planned TWO months ago, and we were not giving any other option for other type of the services or different time on the day. I was stunned and shock on how unprofessional the company was, no apology, nothing, just oh, we have to cancel your service b/c the staff is sick. Which leave me less than 24 hour to come out a plan B, which also including finding alternative dinner plan, and contact all the moms during the busiest time of their day. It took me 3 hours to finally get in touch with the last person and told her the shocking news. Woodhouse need to up your games, other massage place call around for backup therapist, or offer credits for next massage, not canceling the appointments with clients who need to put down credit card to book the appointment and get penalized for cancellation. I would give a zero star for this review but lowest is one.

My husband and I received a wonderful couples massage here so much so that we booked another massage for a few months later. We were so looking forward to our appointment until we received a call saying the staff accidentally double booked our massage. So we were given the choice to reschedule our massage or be in separate rooms for our couple’s massage.While the woman was polite, we believe the wood house day spa should have offered some sort of credit due to the inconvenience on their behalf.

Don’t go, and if you are already a costumer, check your credit card so you don’t get charged for something you didn’t purchase.I went there for a 80 min facial massage recently, when i checked out, the font desk lady gave me three bottles cosmetic products and told me it is a gift from my massage lady. Behind her there are many little green bags like this, looks like they prepared that for their costumers, and the font desk lady told me that the computer system is down now so she can’t charge me now, but she will do it tonight, then she asked me how much tip I’d like to give to my massage lady, after i told her she said my total bill is 200+ and will charge from my credit card by that night. When i went home i opened that 3 bottles gift, one of that is called HA intensifier, it smells like the Repels-All animal repellent, and the bottle of lotion came out clear liquid like water, it looks like water and oil separated already. So i set aside never use it anymore. 3 weeks later when i got my credit card bill i saw a $624 bill from them! I called them and they said its because I purchased something, I didn’t remember i would by any products from there, so that 3 bottles”gift” came to my mind. I brought them back to the store, all they said was”it much be misunderstanding”, i don’t know i misunderstood “gift” mean or the font dest lady did, and the company system was down at the same time!

I went in for the 50min therapeutic hot stone massage and it was fantastic!!! I was massaged with eucalyptus oil and hot Himalayan stones. I work at a hospital and this is the relaxation I needed. Definitely coming back!!

Very nice spa with great relaxing ambiance but the bad part is the massage itself, they seem to be in a hurry for an hour massage and couldnt even feel the massage pressure. Those massage ladies needs more training!!!

I went to get a pedi mani and a few days later on my birthday to get a therapeutic stone massage and blissful night. The receptionist on the day I got my mani pedi was exceptional! She was so attentive, friendly and made me feel so welcomed in! She made every effort to make sure I was comfortable and checked in on me. I wish I knew her name but she had short grey/white hair and just bubbly! Loved the service as well and the hospitality. The day of my birthday the services, the blissful night and therapeutic stone massage, were AMAZING! I completely forgot everyone’s name 🤦🏾‍♀️ But I give everyone I had an interaction with yesterday praise and appreciation! I slept like a baby after that treatment and can’t wait to come again!

I haven’t even gone for my visit, but my encounters with Nancy on the phone have been so incredibly delightful that I needed to write a review. She’s an example of quality customer service that I have not encountered much. Accommodating, informative and just all around a nice person. She helped me organize a spa day for me, my mom and mother in law—and when we had a little hiccup she was there to accommodate us the best she could. Nancy is the best!

My husband and I got a couples massage to celebrate his birthday. Upon checking out I brought up concerns I had about my massage. I also discussed them when they sent me an online request for a review. Nobody in management felt the need to respond to my concerns. Not a word.I guess the only reviews that matter are the ones that get posted online. Terrible communication policy.

I have been a client of Woodhouse Avalon since June of 2020. I see Purvi and cannot say enough good things about both her and the spa in general. They know who I am when I enter the spa and are always very courteous and kind. They go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Purvi is the best masseuse that I have ever had! She always ask if pressure is okay and if I feel alright during the service. She is warm, inviting, and so respectful. This was my second visit to Woodhouse and I brought a guest for a much needed massage for his birthday. I was so relieved that his experience was as excellent as my first visit to this salon earlier this year. Unfortunately “my” experience this time was rather unpleasant. Everything was top notch until I entered the massage room. My therapist may have been having an “off” day or just an inexperienced therapist. To begin with, there was a lot of very noisy construction going on (loud drilling and heavy hammering) right outside the room throughout most of my visit. The front desk apologized when I brought it to their attention, but I’m thinking maybe certain rooms should have been off limits during construction next door. Very disappointing and distracting. While making attempts to begin to relax, the therapist would then bump the table not once but several times while working her way around the room. She appeared to be a novice to her craft causing me to leave there more agitated than relaxed. This didn’t come close to the duet massage my husband and I experienced earlier this year. It’s unfortunate, I am hesitant to return any time soon.

Woodhouse is the perfect place for a pampering pedicure. Reese gives an amazing foot and leg massage as part of the fall special pedicure. I have found my new go-to pedicure spot. I havent tried their massage or esthetics services but I am certain they must be divine based on the quality of the pedicure!

My friend gifted me a facial at Woodhouse for throwing her a baby shower. We all went this past Saturday, and I was in Heaven! The facility is absolutely beautiful. Everything is very clean, and the staff is very sweet and accommodating. Jessica took wonderful care of me. My skin is still glowing days later! I also really enjoyed the ceiling rain shower in the locker room. As a tired mom of an energetic toddler, a spa day was so needed, and everyone at Woodhouse made me feel like royalty. I cant wait to go back!

I have received several treatment modalities, from facials to massages, at Woodhouse Day Spa. The staff is very professional, the rooms are clean, and the service quality is excellent. I have even purchased several gift cards for my team of counselors as gifts. I highly recommend this spa.

Our group of 6 went to celebrate a friends milestone birthday and they did such a nice job accommodating us. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ensuring our drinks were full, our neck wraps were warm, and that we had everything we needed. We had a room to visit in with treats before the door knock - when all 6 of our massage therapists were ready to go, coordinated and took us all to our services before returning us to our room. Everyone had a great service. If I had to find something to recommend it would just be more mirrors in the womens room so women redoing make-up werent blocking sinks - again, it was fine and we all shifted around each other and everyone was kind - just something that could be a an easy adjustment/addition that could make for a smoother exit.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming! I got a massage and facial. Both were AMAZING! It was a treat to spend most of the day at Woodhouse. I would love to do it again soon. Some of the services are on the pricey side but it was worth every cent! This is the perfect place to relax for a day and be treated like royalty. They also have a little shop in the front with beauty products so you can pamper yourself at home too.

Absolutely spectacular experience! I had previously visited another location, and this new one exceeded my expectations. Everyone on staff was attentive, the quiet room was incredibly relaxing, and Juan is the best massage therapist I have ever had. The rooms are clean, the locker room very nice, and the decor is just beautiful. The seaweed exfoliation was absolute perfection too! Plan to allow enough time to spend in the quiet room before and after your services.

Pure bliss!! The ambiance at the Avalon Woodhouse spa is relaxing and oh so elegant. I only wish they offered home interior design services in addition to spa treatments, as I found myself mentally redecorating my home while I was there ;) Fortunately, they do offer their luxurious robes for sale! The sitting room was a lovely place to relax before and after treatments.I really enjoyed my organic facial from Julia. She was very knowledgeable about skin care and I enjoyed chatting with her during my facial. The spa was such a nice retreat and I love that I can grab a bite to eat, do shopping at Avalon, and for a special occasion try our the hotel across the street! In fact, Id like to bring my husband back for a massage/facial package for his upcoming birthday. Went yesterday with a pregnant friend. She had the mellow mama and I had the deep tissue massage. The decor was beautiful and the robes were luxurious. We massage therapists were great! They listened to our needs, and I went home feeling pampered and relaxed. The service was great!!

I visited The Woodhouse Day Spa Yesterday for a lavender and seaweed sugar scrub pedicure and it was AMAZING. From the moment I walked in I felt my stress level melt away with a warm greeting upon arrival to the blissful time spent in the quiet room before my treatment. Nancy was so welcoming and warm and really set a lovely tone for my experience. Natasha was fantastic and I enjoyed every moment of my pedicure. I cannot wait to visit again and have already booked a massage for my hubby.

It is a relaxing experience from the moment you walk inside and breath in their signature scent. I have been impressed with my own spa experiences there. However yesterday, the whole staff went above and beyond to accommodate six of us and our various appointments. We were celebrating our mother’s 81st birthday and they made the morning both relaxing and memorable for us. In a city with a lot of spa choices, Woodhouse Avelon is my first choice.

You need no explanation of five stars from a guy about a spa, right? My wife treated me to a massage here for my birthday. I had no idea people lived like this. ;-)Let me just describe the experience for all the men out there that would not consider going to a day spa. First of all, you walk in and change into a luxurious robe and slippers. Once youre all dressed up, you go to a quiet room to sit and enjoy some wine, champagne, etc. Unfortunately, there was no bourbon.Two seconds before you settle down to the point youre not going to get up, they whisk you away to your private massage room. The masseuse was very good and knowledgeable. She knew how to find all the knots and work on them. It was pretty awesome.Once youre done, you go back to the quiet room, relax, and enjoy more drink if you prefer. Theres a shower in the changing area to round out the experience.Having said all that, I dont have to tell you its not cheap, right? Its not even what I would call affordable. Its just one of those special splurges.

The published massage times are not the real ones, I bought a service for 50 minutes and when I got there they told me that the massage would only be for 25 minutes, that is not honest.

My wife and I went in today 12/23/2018 for a couples Swedish massage, from beginning to end was a fantastic experience! Checking in was easy we got changed and sat down in the quiet room to fill out our paperwork and receive complementary drinks (water, wine etc.) after finishing our paperwork we went in for our massages which were great! We left feeling so nice and relaxed, Next time we will get the longer massages and check out the other services Woodhouse has to offer! I absolutely loved my introductory Facial! It was my first ever and it was a wonderful experience. I didnt know what to expect going in, but Larissa taught me about skin maintenance throughout the process. She even does a small arm and foot message while your mask sets!

This was an amazing experience. My husband surprised with an early birthday present and we got a dual massage. Woodhouse takes care of you from the very beginning. They got my husband and I each set up in the locker rooms (more like luxury locker rooms) and then brought us to the relaxation room where we enjoyed mimosas and hot neck wraps until our massage appointment.The massage itself was the best Ive ever had. I have some chronic illnesses that do affect my body, especially my joints and muscles. They took all of this info consideration and it resulted in an amazing experience. Absolutely my new favorite spa. I love a swedish massage because it is so relaxing although at times I need deep tissue. When my massage therapist asked what I liked and didnt like I never really though such a combination would exist. He gave me the relaxing swedish and moved my muscles in such a way that it was deep tissue without the pain. Ive been to many spas but this one was thoughtful, ultra respectful, and pampering to the extreme. Ive had a favor spa for 15 years that no one could top until I found Woodhouse Day Spa.

I received the seasonal spa pedicure and it was fabulous. Woodhouse Day Spa is very relaxing. You have the option of enjoying the quiet room before your appointment with a warm neck wrap. There is the option of various snacks as well as water, wine and champagne. The staff there is wonderful in making sure that you are comfortable. This was my 2nd time there is Megan as my pedicurists. She is always so nice and friendly so I make sure all my future appointments are with her. In the past I would go to regular nail salons and get the top notch pedicures because I enjoy being pampered. I have found that the price and the service is much better at Woodhouse Day Spa.

Woodhouse Spa is the best spa experience Ive ever had! The quiet room is so nice to start off in then end with. Its a wonderful way to get relaxed a little before the session, then wind down afterwards. Ive received 3 different services there, and each of them were the best Ive ever had. If youre looking for a top notch spa with wonderful staff - This is the place to go!

This was my first visit. I went for the microdermabrasion facial and loved it! Stephanie was amazing. Very professional, super nice and knowledgeable.I was a little hesitant to have that facial because I have rosacea. So I mentioned it to Stephanie and she recommended me to have it and said she would be extra careful around my cheekbones. My skin looks great. I am definitely coming back and I am planning on including it as part of my personal care routine!

My Hydro Facial was amazing and oh so relaxing!! Thank you for making my spa experience so wonderful! The staff was so kind and helpful, as well as incredibly professional. I will be back for sure!!

Facial with Stephanie was beyond incredible, great massage with Amanda. I did the half day package and enjoyed all of it. Pedicure was okay, Id probably just come back for facial and massage.
