Beautiful merchandise expensive but nice quality.

We were done at the apple store and wanted to see this great outdoor store. Found 2 pair of high - quality pants @ 70% off!! They had lots of shirts as well on clearance sale. The staff are helpful and friendly. They allowed me to try on my slax in fitting room no problem. This will not be my only visit. Store is well organized and tidy.The fly fishing section is over the top. Most anything an avid fisherman could want or need. The waiters were cool.Expensive high-end clothing. Very well made and construction with all the details.Good woman’s section as wellWhen in Avalon be sure to check out this specialty store.

Orvis is a clothing manufacturer with catalogues and stores. At the store, I am able to utilize coupons several times if I go over the qualifying dollar amount.I asked the on-line telesales rep to use the coupons to my advantage but I still did not get the full value! I should return the order! But I love the clothes.

If anyone is interested in learning how to fly fish or has questions about gear or places to fish locally you should talk to Devin Lancaster. He is an expert in his field snd his love for his profession is obvious. I am going on an upcoming fly fishing trip to Belize with my brother and I took several casting lessons from Devin which will help immensely! Great guy!Tom

Nice place to visit with the dogs. They have some fishing gear. Mostly very expensive! I do not go to Orvis for clothes.

I was so happy when Orvis opened a store in Alpharetta. The customer service is fantastic and I love their shirts. If you order at the store, the delivery charges are waived.

Mixed bag this trip.... The guy outside the door enforcing Covid customer limits was inattentive, ineffective and pretty disengaged on as very rainy day.. Seems like he wanted to stay home in bed.The folks inside were great... Why were they only allowing 4-6 people in the store? Pretty disappointing execution by store on a holiday shopping day.

Ive been here a few times for fly fishing supplies. While, they are mostly a clothing store, the fly fishing corner seems well stocked, and was able to get quite a bit of what I needed. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

Orvis has good to great equipment, rods, reels and clothing. It often comes at a steep price. Watch for sales and specials. Unfortunately, Shannon is no longer the fishing mgr at this store. This is a huge loss for beginners and experts alike. IMO, the service has fallen off significantly and there are better shops in the area.

Nice selection of items, tents are a bit small, I had to become a contortionist to fit inside.

Have purchased fishing gear from Orvis in past. Called to find replacement soles for my wading shoes. Described brand and type. The sales associate assured me they were in stock. Arrived to find the other sales associate saying we havent carried those in years Arrrrgh. Not very apologetic about the mistake. Maybe they have become a clothing brand rather than fishing gear store.

Friendly and helpful staff. I would like to see more Barbour selection, because I wanted to try on a specific coat.

I took my first fly fishing lessons here. They were very helpful in teaching me how to cast and how to improve my technique. Its their Fly Fishing 101 course, and they also gave me coupons for their amazing rods afterwards. Definitely need to check out ORVIS

Been here a few times for flies & gear for fishing. The staff is pretty well versed on fly fishing trends locally and even regionally. Ive gotten recommendations for a trip up to NC as well as just local hooch fishing.

Another store that treats people like they are a want to be thief. Couldnt even browse for the can I help you guy following me around. 1st time I have been to the store so I wanted to look around but instead just got what I was there for and left. Guess Ill buy my fly rod and supplies elsewhere.

I like Orvis always have, but ive been to this one 4 times only to give up after spending 10 minutes trying to park. Great shop but horrendous location Avalon is a parking nightmare and I end up spending my money elsewhere because i cant actually park to get in the store.
