Trinity Lifestyles has a track record of going against industry practice (and, in some places/cases, legal practices) as well as against what seems to be common decency. Some of the ways Ive either witnessed or heard about are: creating and using every loophole possible to increase rates and add fees, even when families have guarantees of no room/apartment rate increases; changing care unnecessarily and without primary doctors or familys input simply to justify an uptick in costs; ruthlessly using courts to go after family members even when Trinitys own accounting is proven inaccurate, including pursuing jail time for family members unable to pay for their in attorneys and despite Power of Attorney documents that ensure relatives arent on the hook for their family members decisions or when acting in good faith; charging families an extra month of rent when a resident dies because the company wasnt given 30 days move out notice. They typically enjoy the generally anti-consumer, anti-middle and low income, pro-corporate climate of some courts in GA and are aggressive with those they are most sure cannot afford proper legal representation to stand up to them. Attorneys for other companies state that other senior residences do not typically engage in unscrupulous (at best) acts such as these. I suggest exploring the many other options for senior care out there, and do a quick search of metro area court proceedings to see how Trinity Lifestyles Management treats the families of their residents.
