We always have a great experience at Alma Optics regardless of who we see. Every doctor is friendly, explains things well, and makes sure youre getting the best care possible. My four year old daughter recently had her first eye appointment, and the entire staff did a great job of keeping her comfortable, explaining what they were doing, and making sure she got the best care possible. Highly recommend.

No matter what doctor you see, they are all great! All the staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect example, my son was having a hard time figuring out what frame would best suit him. The tech was right there and zoomed right in with the perfect one for him on the first try. Im allergic to metal and they helped me with a solution so I can still have wire frames. These guys are awesome!

I am so happy to be a patient with this group. I woke up one day and had a shadow, called and got an appointment later that week (I had asked to go later in the week). The next day it was worse. I called and asked if I could get in earlier, they were able to get me in that day (an hour later). I ended up having to have emergency eye surgery. Dr. Whitmore was so helpful and caring. The nurses called to the surgeon and they were waiting for me when I got there. It was so smooth (as smooth as emergency surgery is).I appreciate all the people who work at Pleasant Optics. I would recommend them to anyone needing an eye doctor.

I saw Dr Kyle Lark and am so impressed with his very friendly, yet professional demeanor. He took time to answer all my questions with thoroughness and sincerity. I learned much regarding the retinal screen overview. My Dad has severe wet macular degeneration so I was interested in all I could learn through the retinal imaging. I have been having trouble with my progressive lens ie. difficulty reading & with computers. He explained what the best approach would be to remedy my issues in the best possible manner. I cant say enough about his understanding & attention to my questions, his ability to explain, his kind demeanor, and his sincerity. Thank you and kudos to Dr Lark.

I received my contacts promptly after pointing out my frustrations. They went above and beyond for me and I couldnt be happier. Thanks guys you rock! Recommend them to anyone!Staff is awesome, doctors are amazing. My only issue is I ordered contacts over a month ago, was given a delivery date(twice) only to find out theyre on back order again both times. I was given trials that werent my correct prescription but still in tolerance to get me by which was nice and all but I would really like my contacts I paid for or at least a straight answer on what is exactly going on.

Dr Whitmore & his staff are professional & thorough with my eye exam, treatment, etc., for my annual diabetic eye exam. I also feel supported when discussing any vision concerns I have, & he shares the results of my tests so I can make an informed decision about changes needed. I highly recommend this office & all staff & have been a patient of this office for over 25 yrs, & a patient of Dr Whitmore specifically to monitor the effects of my diabetes on my eye health for at least 5 yrs.

Me and my family have been going there for years and enjoy the experience. Lately, my new puppy found & chewed on my glasses...I was told that there was going to be a wait for over a month to get them replaced. Driving without correction is a experience.

Dr Zainea is a very friendly Dr with an awesome bed side manner! Grateful to be a patient here. Staff is very nice as well. I had an random eye blindness issue. Dr. Zainea did a thorough exam, dilation. He listened to all my issues and advised me to see a cardiologist for possible blood flow problems. I did and he was right and it saved my life. They found blocked arteries. Early enough for me to get a handle on it too watch my grandbabies grow ❤ God Bless him

Very displeased with the desk help at this office. The Doctor was very friendly but my goodness is it hard to communicate anything with there receptionist. I called to get some questions answered and was placed on hold right away. Ok everyone gets busy (would have been nice to have been told). Then after waiting about ten minutes on hold someone picks up the phone and hangs up! Now I have to call back and I get someone right away, and the convorsation that follows was the most awkward interaction with a human that i have ever had the displeasure of having.Hi thanks for calling how may I help you? yes I need my prescription for my wife and I...............*awkward silence*................. Can you help me? yeah... and this was the general way that this phone call went. Needless to say I am not very pleased with how this went. I would recommend the Doctor any day but the front staff just ruins the whole experience.

Made an appointment in April. Took time off work. NEVER received conformation call or text. (Now I will CALL)! Went to appointment and was told I was a NO Show for an hour before. Couldnt fit me in. Looked at frames. Found ones I wanted. Got home and thought Id better call and make sure I get them. Desk lady said YES if someone wants them they write the # down and they go back on the display.so when you come back they will be there. So at my rescheduled appt they were GONE and and was told if someone comes in and wants them...boom...gone! So got a bunch of excuses at my appointment because they were clueless. Now They said 7 to 10 days for the glasses I really didnt want. No phone call at 10 days. Called today and was told they notified me 2 days ago. Old phone #. And I verified my contact # when I placed my order! 1...2...3 strikes...youre out! $200 plus $ for this? Pretty sad.

Dr Zainea is excellent! He makes you feel comfortable and always makes sure your comfortable with your purchase. The office as a whole was super nice and professional.

First off, Ive been going here for years and had no problems at all... Until now. Now its different.I had my exam this year in May, and I ordered new glasses. I have a strong prescription so I expected the cost to be up there. It was 380ish. No problem. I get my glasses and struggled to see clearly with them for a few days. I go back and they tell me its because I didnt order the anti glare coating. So I pay another 90 something dollars and order with the anti glare. They come in and I still have the same issue. They decide its because my prescription was not right. I then have to make an appt for another exam a few weeks later. During this exam it is determined that my initial prescription was wrong. New lenses are ordered but when they come in, the anti glare that I paid for is not on them. So they are remade again. This time the lenses come in with the right script and with antiglare, but are not cut right. The grooves around the edge of the lenses are too far forward and it makes the edges of the lenses stand out. It looks like there is a ring around each lens. They polished it up, but it didnt help much and they said they were not happy with the cut and are gonna reorder lenses again. Thats where I stand now, Sept 5th and waiting for the correct lenses that I ordered in May...Ive paid almost 500 dollars and am still wearing last years glasses.

Troubles me that all the extra cost that go along with buying a pair of glasses. Progressive lens, transision lens, anti glare ?? confused how i qualify for a extra pair of glasses under some kind of warranty ? But have to buy a new pair first ? Getting glasses seems like to many trying to add extras at a benefit to the pocket. Just my opinion but pretty sure ive got it right

I made an appt 6 weeks ago. I told them which insurance I have. They stated they accepted both Medicaid and Medicare. Upon arriving they told me that no actually they dont accept my Medicaid. I found this very sloppy and unprofessional of their office. This information all should have been updated at the time I called. My glasses have been broken for 6 weeks and I wasted a lot of time waiting for this appt. Very unprofessional to say the least.

I found all the people friendly and very personable.This was only my third time there but you would have thought I was an old customer that they had known for a long time.

Shame on you for sending a broken, glued pair of glasses that your company broke, home for my grand daughter, and you have given my daughter in law the run around with her new glasses.I would hope that you will get my grand daughter a brand new pair of new glasses immediately! Shame on you for treating patient differently. This is a little girl with vision trouble beyond her glasses.

They were very nice. but they told me they couldnt put the order in to order the glasses untill I put some money dowm Im them. I never paid any money for the glasses but they went and ordered them anyways and now they keep sending me a bill

Not a very happy patient at all first off my eye sight is very bad to where Im getting bad migraine which they was informed on and its been a month and yet havent gotten my glasses!!! Then today my daughter got her new glasses well there not so new as they have a crack in the frame that was supposedly fixed and not noticable well my eye sight may not be the best but its clearly noticable and Im not happy about it at all!!! This place is a joke and will never get my service ever again!!! I will make sure anyone I know does not use this eye doctor ever I dont see how u guys think u can try and screw not only myself but my 9 year old daughter over also its very depressing and not acceptable at all!!! I think u guys should refund me my money and stop making excuses for glasses that I wont ever get cause of I was going to get them u guys wouldnt make a different excuse Everytime I call to check on them also today I got to diff stories on why my glasses havent arrived yet think u all need to get your heads in the game and not mess ppl over that need there glasses!!! And to top it off if it wasnt for ur doc my daughters eye wouldnt be so messed up like it is ur doc told my daughter last time she was seen to only wear her glasses to read when that wasnt the case she should have wore them at all times!!! Best thing for this company is to be shut down!!!
