Best pre-op and recovery experience I’ve ever had. The medical staff was amazing and provided thorough care. My continued recovery at home had been without issue.

Horrible officially switched over to st Luke’s whenever you call to make an appointment you have to wait months for them to have any openings then you finally go and they completely ignore your concerns I was prescribed meds that clearly state do not take if you have asthma I tell the doctor this get ignored and the er even worse I go they completely forget about me for like 3 hours till I guess someone remembered I was in the room all the way in the back they completely ignored my symptoms only really tested for COVID to then send me home after being there for 8 hours this place is horrible the doctors don’t care about no one but the money they get

I would rather go into debt at another office than ever having to step foot in this office again. The only decent people I came in contact was my nurse and dentist. The front staff is absolutely atrocious. I left work for an emergency appointment because I was in massive amounts of pain as well as the next day. They refused to write me an excuse for those 2 days since nothing was performed on me, even though I got X-rays, saw a doctor, got a Novacaine shot because I was in so much pain I didn’t eat or sleep for 2 days, and set up a follow up appointment. When I argued she said she would write me an excuse for the hour I was there. So I’m going to max my credit card out and get my work done at a place that treats me like a human being and not an inconvenience because THATS how bad this place sucks.

I am FURIOUS with the level of care at this facility. My boyfriend had a surgery today. Weve been here since 6 am. They didnt offer to feed him at all after the surgery. We didnt know if he needed to stay for overnight observation but there would be no nurse on staff after 11 pm??? In a surgery center! But oh, they offered to transfer him to Cedar Crest by ambulance which would have cost astronomical prices for no reason since there should be a nurse. And the nurse/tech didnt stay near the door while he used the restroom while still waking up. She just left and we had to go make sure he was okay. The staff was moody and rude by the end of the night making it no secret they werent happy to be here.The surgical doctor was awesome though and just as upset as we were. And Robin the tech upstairs after changing rooms was great too. She brought him pudding after learning he wasnt offered anything.

Dr kulp was very rude and didnt seem to care at all about my sons health. Suggesting a whole bunch of test that wasnt even related to the issue. 2 sonogram that ended up costing 400 each with insurance payment of 2,500 each and both test were fine. Which makes me think if the first one was done and everything was fine why a second one? My whole pregnancy they said it was a high risk but didnt move a finger to lift my restrictions at work, repeatedly telling me this could be wrong with the baby and blah blah meanwhile my son is perfectly fine, they wouldnt acknowledge anything positive only what they thought could be wrong. I had anxiety and depression all this time as a result of this. Went to the ER a couple of times and after hours of wait they gave him what I could get in the pharmacy without a prescription. Whenever I asked doctor J Kulp she would answer with a question, not even trying to be respectful given the fact that shes also a mother....

Had surgery and the aftercare was a nightmare. They didnt even call my family to tell them I was done and ok. They didnt call my ride they made me do it. They didnt want to send me home with any pain medicine. They didnt let me rest they rushed me out of there. Even forgot to take my IV out after discharge. I had to tell them to take it out. I didnt recommend having surgery here!!! 0 stars if I could

The surgeon was excellent, the recovery room staff was terrible. Patients who have the possibility of needing to be admitted for 23 hours shouldnt be sent there for procedures. Instead, my elderly mother was sent home and ended up at the ER the next morning. Thankfully, she is fine, but no thanks to them. Lehigh Valley builds all these buildings at Cedar Crest...fine, but do something about you Chew St hospital or stop sending patients to it. Never again.

My “RN” did nothing but downplay my issue the entire time.I went in with genuine concerns about an ongoing issue that I finally decided to go to the ER about Despite me being out here for work and being 600 miles from home. The “RN” kept telling me that it is an ER and they only deal with emergencies(it was empty and I’m pretty sure she was upset about having to stop her conversation with her colleagues to do her job), and Didn’t bother to mention anything to me about my high blood pressure but I just realized I now have.Don’t waste your time here find a hospital that will actually give you service worthy of a human being.

Went to the diagnostic center for bloodwork on a Tuesday at 11:00am. They told me it was a 45 minute wait, which is ridiculous in the first place, but I needed the test and decided to wait. After 45 minutes passed I asked how much longer and was told there were still 6 people ahead of me. The excuse given for the extended wait was that it was now lunchtime and the blood draw employees were starting to take their lunch breaks. I was finally called for my turn at 12:25pm. So, I waited 1 1/2 hours (twice the time I was initially told) for a blood draw that literally took all of 3 minutes. HORRIBLE. I will never go there again.

Wow, this hospital is absolutely amazing!! I went here for an outpatient surgery and am so glad I was under care at Lehigh Valley on 17th Street. The nurses & staff were phenomenal! Bedside manner was superb. Especially compared to the hospitals in the Philadelphia area. Everyone was courteous and made me feel relaxed and safe prior to my surgery. I can not recommend this hospital enough. The process was smooth & before I knew it I was back at home recovering. Thank you Lehigh Valley team! All your hard work is greatly appreciated.

I was recently at this emergency room for an unknown issue. The nurses and doctors were amazing. They took the time to help make me comfortable and checked in on me often. I felt as though they truly cared about my well being. This is not the first time that I can say this about my experience with this emergency room. I know it is a bit further to drive but Id rather go here than anywhere else in an emergency!

I went in on thanksgiving in the emergency room because I slipped in the shower and broke a tooth all the way past the gums and in the bone the nurse he was awesome he was very helpful and friendly but they were not able to get the dentist to come in so I had to go back home with the same pain after being there for 6 hours but they were able to get me a dental appointment the next morning which I thought was nice then when I got there the dentist told me he couldn’t do much because I wasn’t a patient at they’re hospital an if I wanted to become one I would have to wait two years! So Ive been running around looking for a place that could help me because I’m still in pain and so they sent me to another place I went to the other place and the dentist was extremely helpful even helped me make phone calls because unfortunately what I need is actual surgery and when I called and explained to another hospital my situation they told me that the Lehigh valley network wasn’t supposed to tell I’m not they’re patient because I entered they’re ER making me a patient if theirs so I called my insurance and they agreed this is crazy I could have been relieved of pain almost a week ago and yet I was turned away most likely due to money reasons I’m never going there again being a medical student myself I have never experienced such money hungry selfish and just unhelpful practitioners in my life

I don’t recommend coming to this hospital. It is very bad. I’ve been waiting in this waiting room for 3 and a half hrs. The staff is very slow. Also very lazy. I’ve had a emergency and am still waiting. Don’t come here if you have a emergency. VERY BAD SERVICE!!

My experience at this facility was absolutely fantastic! As a person with chronic pancreatitis for 12 years i have been to several hospitals. Out of all of them this hospital was hands down the best of all of them. Dr. Lopez-Rodriguez and the nursing staff were very professional, kind and understanding of my condition and did everything they could to make me comfortable and get me feeling better. IF YOU ARE TRULY SICK AND IN PAIN THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!!

I came to this facility a couple of times for sane day surgery. The staff were nice and knowledgeable and we never had to really wait long for things to happen. This biggest complaint was parking. There was very little and it was well over a half to a block away like.

Worst hospital ever, once brought in my son and waited for over 2 hours in the waiting room to be seen and that wasnt even the doctor that was the nurse that registers the visit. Just recently went in for swollen lymph node and pain, mind you I do not take pain killers, Advil not even Tylenol just knew something was wrong they pretty much told me they never heard of such a pain and discharged me within 10 minutes didnt check me or have any type of interest.

Emergency staff are ignorant and they dont care, I had to take my son 2 years old to the emergency room around 9:30 pm for fever, there was only three people ahead of us until 11:30pm there was 3 patients got checked out and the three people waiting outside none of them got called to be treated, the only people were going in were the food delivery I guess they were partying instead of treating people, I had to to take my son to another hospital. Dont go there if you have emergency!!!

Trying to schedule an appointment with this place is horrible. They never have appointments. Some medical assistant are super nice but other are rude. And wanna think you are stupid or something by the way they talk to you. Then they wanna complain because i take my kids somewhere else to be seen but the reason for it is because there no appointment. I wont recommend this place at all worse place ever

When I initially arrived the staff was very attentive and checked on my a decent amount of times. My initial nurse was very nice put me on IV water fluids which I was pleased because once I was discharged from Lehigh valley Allentowns hospital I ended up at their mount pocono location a few hours later and I had to aske after about 3 hours of being there to be put on IV water fluids. But back to my visit at Lehigh valley Allentown when my first nurse went home and I ended up with a different nurse which he never checked on me only to discharge me which was frustrating. I had two different doctors talk to me the female doctor was decent initially the Male doctor initially thought I was a chronic pain patient which he was nice till he found out I had another issue which wasnt chronic pain.

This emergency room is a scam... don’t go there unless you’re shot, stabbed or in labor... they are not concerned with finding out what’s wrong with you. No blood work, X-rays, etc.. they load you up with pain medicine until you fall asleep then once your pain is gone they ship you out and send you a ridiculous bill. No real treatment.

Always satisfied with the staffs and service here total peace of mind beside dealing with my condition my doctor he’s an angel I’m so grateful and blessed to be his patient.

This Place Is Horrible For OBYN And Pedatrics! They Take Forever!

My experience was very positive! The staff was friendly and very efficient. I was very pleased with the way I was treated.

My wife brought our 11 year-old for a sleep study. The guy was nice but nervous. After my son finally fell asleep the guy stopped the study because he noticed a heart abnormality and said the boy had to go downstairs to the E.R. My son, who, by the way, is wearing a special boot on his one foot because of a fracture, was half asleep and as unsteady as Otis was on the Andy Griffith show.Down at E.R. they complained that the heart thing is common to kids and that the sleep study people always send these kids down to them. According to my wife, they sounded ticked as they talked amongst themselves just out of her eyesight. With no definitive diagnoses he was discharged and my wife was told to call in the morning to arrange for him to have a 24-hour portable heart monitor strapped to him. With the discharge papers in hand, she asked about leaving him where the nurses were so hed be safe while she went for the car. They said why not just have him walk with you? My wife pointed out the obvious trifecta that, number one, he was wearing a medical boot on his leg, as well as, number two, the fact that just seconds ago they were discussing his heart issue, minor though it may be, and three, the window nearby because, had they taken the trouble to look through all the fingerprints on the glass, they would have noticed the snow on the ground and the snow (and God knows what else) in the air. Nonplussed and apparently unable to connect three simple dots, one of them asked Why dont you carry him? Because hes eleven, she said while pointing to him, hes not a toddler. Sadly, her problems with them werent over.She had our son sit in the waiting room while she went to get the car (he has a cell). On the way to the car she slipped and fell on the iced-over hospital parking lot (across the street from the hospital). Everything went flying in different directions. Her purse, the discharge papers and, as she would later discover, her cell phone (still missing). Cold, wet, stunned and in pain (she discovered bruises when she got home) she laid there a moment to collect herself, stood up, dusted herself off and drove the car to the E.R. entrance. Once inside, she told the E.R. people she had fallen on the ice. NOT ONE OF THEM ASKED IF SHE WAS OKAY. NOT ONE OF THEM. NOR A RELATED ARE YOU HURT? They said nothing. Nada. No reaction. The only words uttered came from the security guard who shook his head before saying, with the oh-so-helpful brevity of the disengaged, thats too bad. By the way, there are no security cameras in the parking lot, according to hospital staff. So, Paul Reubens, come to town and do your thing. Youll be as unnoticed as a medical boot on a kids leg.I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.* Even if the vile person who invented speed bumps asked me if he should go there Id tell him nope. Nor would I recommend it to the absolutely soulless miscreant who invented rebates.*Okay, Id recommend it to any member of the Taliban. And maybe to those particular Wall Street bankers complicit in the 2008 crash. But thats it.

This is hands down the best hospital I have ever been to . I had a ruptured aneurysm spent over a month in ICU Nurses and staff were above amazing !! not only to me but my family .. I have and will continue to recommend this hospital and be forever grateful they saved my life !!

This place is a joke. Womens center for medicine should be shut down. Im 25 weeks pregnant Ive never scene a doctor only a nurse. If u call them due to a problem they just hang up on you. U have a scheduled apt. U show up on time just to sit there and be told 30 mins later they cancelled ur apt. But never called never anything. Plz dont risk ur childs life go anywhere but here for prenatal care

This hospital is horrible I went there yesterday for my son who had a fever of 103.5 and it took them over two hours to see us plus we had to sit in the hallway once we went to the back . We are back there today due to my son having allergic reaction to the medicine they prescribed yet we are still waiting. Ridiculous, and absurd so to conclude dont come here if you have an emergency.

I came in here 2 weeks ago and they send me home right away because I was just having a flu. Today I came back because Im still throwing up, with migraine, diarrheas and etc. They let me wait for 3 and 1/2 hours in the waiting room and so far Ive been 3 more hours inside WAITING to be attended. If your life depend on it, I seriously not recommend this place. They have the worst service !!!

Today February 4, 2020 is 754pm at night I was in the hospital. In the emergency room I arrived at 130pm waiting for a long time for me to attend there is tremendous doctor but the space they have is too small to attend to so many patients and principals when there is a child that is worse the treatment is terrible they need more space to be able to have a better treatment because you have a good doctor, nurse and you need a pediatric doctor here or make a pediatric emergency room for them too

The best hospital I have been able to visit is my first time attending the hospital, if efficiency treatment and empathy is of the highest quality.

The hospital has network human translation, and many countries translations are especially suitable for new immigrants and those who are not good at English.
