Dr Schechter was an amazing Doctor. I had the best time with him. However, due to his unexpected passing. The people who took over the practice did not properly notified his patients. Many of us thinking he retired or left. And did not finish his job. Thats not true. He would have never done that. The people who took over his practice should have send letters out to let his patients know. It was poorly executed and poorly handled. I got my money back, but they could have finished up my order. Instead I had to find a new orthodontist to do my retainers. RIP Dr. Schecter. You are missed.

The best orthodontist in town. Dr. Schechter is very professional. He did my braces years ago. And I am happy with the results.

I had the same experience. North Texas Orthodontics is the worst office. Different doctors here have totally different opinion. Dr.Schechter left or retired in the midst of an ongoing treatment. Dr.Lugo disagrees with the Dr. Schechter’s treatment plan and wants to extract teeth and create another plan. I heard him say the exact same words to another parent in the same office. This is the worst office here. Different doctors have totally different opinion. My 8 year old daughter was seeing Dr. Schechter for upper space loss and lower crowding. He put upper expander in my daughters mouth and then lower expander. We started treatment in August 2018 and in the middle of the teatment, Dr, Schechter left the hospital without giving us a information. Now other doctor Dr. Lugo has totally different opinion and he said that he needs to take out the tooth and expander useless
