Smart guy, helpful staff. I had a change of insurance to an assisted managed plan and he takes it. High level of care mixed with obvious compassion. Lucky to have him in the city I live in.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Dairi for almost 8 years now and although he moved farther away from where we live (we live in Wisconsin), I cant imagine going to anyone else. He literally saved her life and we would not trust anyone else. Dr. Dairi is very attentive and compassionate and cares about his patients. We were VERY lucky to have him as her doctor.

Dr. Dairi, thank you for helping my mom with her breathing challenges several years ago and a huge thank you for recommending my father to Dr. Ham (Ear, Nose & Throat MD.) as he discovered throat cancer that went unnoticed by another E,N,T. he definitely saved my fathers life! My parents think the world of you and enjoy your good sense of humor during their visits.

I saw Dr. Dairi several times for asthma. He repeatedly told me I was fat and to get rid of my cat (nice job fat shaming - hard to exercise when you cant breathe!). Previously, at the same weight, and with more pets, my asthma was mild and well controlled, for decades! Something had significantly changed but he didnt care what. He changed my diagnosis to moderate asthma, which I disagreed with as I was constantly struggling to breathe on maximum medications.I moved and found a new pulmonologist who aggressively allergy tested me, IgG tested me and diagnosed me with severe persistent asthma. I more than qualified for the biologic Xolair, which Dr. Dairi never bothered mentioning. My asthma is now well controlled, yet certainly severe and persistent.By the way, I lost 30#, and still have severe persistent asthma. His staff in the front desk were rude, very unfriendly and unkind. And yes, youll sit in the waiting room, with coughing patients for hours.

Dr Dairi is one of the nicest and most helpful doctors I have ever been to. As is his nurse Sarah. I have been his patient for the last 2 years and during that time he has been nothing but patient and kind.

I am grateful to have been treated by Dr. Dairi. He took the time to really listen and carefully curate the tests that he prescribed for me. Ultimately, I would highly recommend Dr. Dairi to anyone. I trust his viewpoint. Also of note is his staff -- they are amazing and very empathetic. I feel truly cared about during our visits and the follow up. Dr. Dairi guided me into the treatment that has been correct and working for me. When it comes to breathing, it is such an important thing to find a physician that partners with you and listens to you. Please do take the time to schedule an appointment with Dr. Dairi.

Dr. Dairi is wonderful. Ive been a patient for over 10 years. He is thorough, thoughtful, kind, reassuring, and very patient. Tanya, his assistant, is always very warm and welcoming. My husband and daughter are also patients of Dr. Dairis. I would definitely recommend his practice. Thank you Dr. Dairi and Tanya!

Not impressed. First time meeting him, he was 1.5hr behind and spent no more than 90 seconds in my room to approve the next step in my diagnoses treatment. He would not take a televisit for this even though it was in the high point of covid. I felt like he pushed off my questions to get out of the room.My second appointment was also delayed by an hour and when I asked the receptionist she seemed very cocky in telling me well, he IS in with otger patience so youll just have to wait your turn. I get it...but if you are that behind then schedule me for an hour later and not make me take off work to wait. I will be trying to switch over to another doctor who seems to care.

Thank you for being honest and right to the point. With respect and feelings to your patient you told them the truth and what can happen and will if they did change their lifestyle and they heard you. Not coming from me made a world of difference. Your office staff is wonderful also.

My wife is a patient of Dr Dairi and I had been with her at her appointments and felt that Dr. Dairi spent the time that was necessary, answered questions in an easy to understand fashion and was a compassionate and warm soul. Now I have had the chance to have Dr. Dairi as my Pulmonologist. And there are no differences from what I said about my wife. Dr. Dairi, and his staff as well, are wonderful. I am very thankful that he will be providing me future care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dairis for many years and I have found him to be a very caring and compassionate doctor. I feel that I am lucky to have such a great doctor to look after my pulmonary health. I recently introduced my wife to him as a patient as she was not satisfied with her current pulmonologist and she loves his caring and through explanations. She and I both feel that he truly cares for us as patients and wants only the best care for us. We are very lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor.

As a person who sees far too many “ologists”, I appreciate the quick service and welcome it.My first visit he simply needed more information and gave me the orders to do so. I’m extremely tired when my life is to see doctors (I sometimes go on a doctor strike for a month) so it was refreshing to have a doctor who’s so direct and to the point. I didn’t not find him unprofessional nor did I feel that he did not care. He knew what he needed and did just that. I’m thankful for the doctor and sweet staff...

Dr. Firas Dairi is a Pulmonary Specialist that saved my life. I was admitted to the hospital in respiratory failure. Dr. Dairi had stayed and made sure the meds he prescribed were working and he was able to calm me down with meds so everything was working together. He did transfer me to ICU and I had to wear the breathing mask but he knew exactly how to get me back. Thank you Dr. Dairi for saving my life.

I met Dr. Dairi when he diagnosed my wifes lung cancer. To say he took his time with us is an understatement. He took hours go explain things with us and then re-arranged his calendar to do what he needed in order to do to treat it aggressively. He was there two years later when my mother was at the end of her life, and he helped us through the process in ways I couldnt have imagined. He is not only highly skilled, but has the greatest level of human compassion that I have come across in the medical profession. In short, he never lets anything cloud the fact that he is in a personal business dealing with real people and real lives.

I am a tennis player and obviously breathing or shortness of breath play an integral part of the sport. Dr. Dairi has kept me on the courts with always a very strict regimen about fluid and weight. Im almost 78 years old and play twice a week for 2 hours each day and come off the court tired sometimes but never from lack of breath. Love this guy!

Visited 3 times and saw the actual doctor for (no exaggeration) 60 seconds on my first visit only. The rest was done by the nurse, who was very nice but not who I am paying to see. My second visit I waited 55 minutes for the nurse to come in and say You need a second sleep study. Any questions? and then she left. I did not see Dr. Dairi at all that visit. I waited almost an hour for what could and SHOULD have been a 5 minute phone call telling me to schedule the second sleep study. Then the doctor went on vacation leaving no one to cover his patients -- I had to wait 3 more weeks for him return to read my test results and write a prescription. Another doctor could have done that easily and let me start treatment 3 weeks sooner. Also, Dr. Dairi has a firm policy that he will not give any test results over the phone so you have to come in (and pay a copay) after each test. In total, I had to wait over 6 weeks from when I was diagnosed with sleep apnea until I could actually get a prescription for a machine so that I dont stop breathing during the night. I did not feel like Dr. Dairi cared at all about my quality of life, timely treatment, or even meeting me as his patient. He spent zero time with me and the minute I did get was rushed and impersonal. I tried to switch doctors but it would have cost me another month waiting to be seen by someone else as a new patient. I chose to stick it out until I got treatment and then can afford to wait to see someone else for followup visits. The office is nice enough, they have after-work appointments available and the staff is pleasant but I cant recommend Dr. Dairi to anyone.

His is blunt and very direct which some may not like but I think he is a very good doctor and above all else cares about your health. I have seen him show compassion for those that are ill and cant do much to improve their condition and Ive experienced a scolding when I wasnt doing what was needed to improve my health. If you want a doctor that cares go to Dr Dairi, if you want to be coddled and medicated go elsewhere.
