Stay Away from Samaritan Counseling, especially the practitioner Dan Martin. Our family saw Dan to process past trauma and improve communication. After a few months of talking in circles every session and Dan placing blame on individuals throughout the process, we sadly saw no progress. Time to move onto a licensed family therapist that is solution focused and skilled in problem solving and improving communication. Choosing the right therapist is difficult and I hope this review will help other families avoid a bad one from the get go. If you want a therapeutic environment that provides hope for the future and respects all parties throughout the process, stay away from Samaritan Counseling.
