I has a deep cleaning at the facility on Sept 2021: From the front desk, the x-ray tech, the doctor, the office manager and Casey (Kaycee) the hygienist, everyone was friendly, respectful and professional. The hygienist took her time, and was very gentle during the cleaning. I am a very satisfied customer. They work the price with me around my insurance. Will be going for my 4montha follow up. Awesome staff and service.

This dental chain is not for me. I give one star for the nice and polite staff and timely manner.I was first patient and they took sooo many X-rays of my jaw at least three each side plus front. I assume they do it to get more money from health coverage since my old dentist just took one each side and could see everything fine. So unnecessary and harmful for the body!Then they did an additional 3D screening where they didn’t even see I had a filling. So no real sense to do that.Then told me I had cavities that needed treatment immediately! The dentist herself didn’t even bother to look into my mouth! Just said it from looking at the 3D scan, not even showed me proof on x rays! They couldn’t see my filling on scan but several cavities??!! I doubt it.What a shame to make such a statement to a patient, scare them without professional handling!!Plus it was a lie, cause I went to other dentists who said everything is fine, I have none!Then I had a talk with the financial manager who wanted to make me pay 30$ and when I asked why and got upset since I told them I want no service with additional fees, she couldn’t tell, updated the system and said oh it’s all covered!For me the impression is all about that money!

All around wonderful people. the ads are a little to pull you in. Sure glad they were. There just straight forward tell it like it is. but the work they do for the things you need are so well priced that is the best. We loved the whole experience. I highly recommend Aspen Dental. They are flexible on appointments and run a highly efficient office in the Algonquin, IL office. We did not have to wait very long to be seen for a quick and thorough examination with quick and thorough recommendations. Pricing was fair as well.

Visited Aspen of Algonquin and the staff couldnt have been nicer. Going to the dentist is anxiety inducing for many but the staff here made me feel at ease. They were careful and considerate about my pain level throughout the exam. They were upfront about my best course if action treatment wise. I had been to some other Dentists in the area but Aspen is where I chose to have my work done all because of the staff made me feel. Highly recommend.

This aspen location charged me $550 for 1 cavity and they did such a terrible job I had to see another dentist. Then 9 months later I get a call from collections for $72.. terrible dental work and customer service!

My appointment was at 7 pm. I didn’t get in back until 7:40. I wasn’t out until 8:15 which is closing time. All I had done was a set of X-rays followed by a quick chat with the dentist to plan further care. None of that should have entailed an hour and fifteen minutes, which is not ideal when you have to rush home to put two toddlers to bed. Staff in the back were nice though, including the dentist.

I went to Aspen Dental on 12/28/2020 and 12/29/2020 and it was the most AWFUL dentist I have ever went to. I initially came in because I was having tooth problems. The first visit the hygienist and the dentist both saw me. They did absolutely NOTHING for me despite my pain and the dentist wouldnt look in my mouth. I had to say Please, just look in my mouth and quit having me describe everything when you can absolutely see whats wrong if you would just do your job and look in my mouth!. I am at the dentist and the lady that is supposed to help me, WONT. They said come in the next day for a cleaning! I never asked for a cleaning! I needed my tooth looked at and not a cleaning. Still, despite that, I came in for the cleaning. They charged my insurance and me before services rendered- Who does that? I waited for 1 hour to see the dentist after my cleaning. I had another appointment after this that I was late for so I had to leave. On the way out they never once said they would refund me for paying BEFORE services and they never said they would refund my insurance. I thought about it after I left and had to call myself to tell them how to do their job and they must refund me and refund my insurance because services were never rendered that day. Aspen Dental is disorganized and incompetent. Why would they charge me and my insurance BEFORE services rendered? And check this out...they still didnt give me my full refund. They tried saying I had a cancer screening when I had my cleaning. I NEVER did! They charge $30 for that but I never had the cancer screening and they still wont refund me! Also, at the cleaning they gave me a fluoride treatment I never asked for and still charged me $53!! The dental hygienist brush across my teeth once and they call that a fluoride treatment! Be careful! They will charge you for things they never asked you if you wanted. Watch your receipt closely or they will steal from you! Aspen Dental is the worse dentist you could probably ever go to! Thats what you get for going to a chain of Aspen Dental. They made me feel bad about myself because now I feel so stupid for letting this happen to me. Be good to yourself and go to a private practice that will 100% have to do a better job than Aspen Dental. I promise- This was the worse experience I have had, not just at a dentist office; but, EVER! Long story short- I still have tooth problems and they absolutely did not care to help me. I feel like an idiot for giving them even one star; but, Google makes you. ASPEN DENTAL IS INCOMPETANT!

Cracked a Molar on Sat! Called Monday morning and they got me in First thing for an Eval Tues Morning I opted for removal and was prepared to come back another day! Whats 1 more day of pain right? Next thing I know Dr. John says hang tight, Ill be back in 10. When he came back they were ready to remove the tooth! I was beyond blown away. Dont expect this same level of service everytime you need it!!! But, the level of Service was more than 5 Stars to me. I will refer anyone to go there even for routine cleanings! Theyre spectacular to have as my Dental Care Team!

The reason I’m giving two stars is because the staff was always very friendly towards me during my office visits, but unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with the billing department. I had my dental procedure completed in May of 2019 and paid my patient balance upfront. I had a credit in my account and contacted the office to have the credit reimbursed. I was told they were still awaiting payment from the insurance company, a year later, and once that was received, any account credit would be reimbursed to me. I checked my account a few days later and it showed a balance due of $3,800!!! I called the office back and was told they weren’t able to verify my insurance! A YEAR LATER after my procedure. Not once during this past year did I receive any form of communication from this office that they couldn’t verify my insurance, even though all of my insurance information provided to them was accurate and I even called the insurance company to confirm the subscriber number was correct. Now that the claim has been resubmitted, I have to sit and wait and hope that it was submitted properly to my insurance company. The last thing I need is for this office to try and stick me with a $3800 bill for their negligence and lack of communication.

Had a toothache and booked appointment online. Downloaded and completed paperwork. Got a text confirming my appointment this morning. A few minutes later I got a call from Aspen Dental telling me they would need to reschedule unless I could be there in less than an hour. I reminded them that the appointment was for pain. I was asked to hold, moments later I was asked if I had insurance. I said yes and was put on hold again. When she returned to the line I was told they were closing early and that they would give me a general exam, but that they wouldnt have time to start any procedures to reduce my pain. Because I am fairly sure I will need antibiotics before any work can be done, I asked if I could hurry in, let the dentist look at the painful area and see if they could at least start antibiotics to clear up the pain and swelling. I was told not to get my hopes up. At that point, I looked for other dentists and will never consider Aspen Dental Algonquin again.

Got a call less than an hour before my appointment saying I needed to reschedule. I got stuck in traffic on the way to my new appointment time and called to tell them I would be 15minutes late. The gentleman on the phone made it sound like no big deal at all. I showed up 18minutes late and was told i was 3 minutes too late. Obviously a major lack of communication between the front desk staff and the care providers.

My appointment was at 3:30 to do a normal teeth clean and check up they didn’t take me back until 3:50 and then took numerous x rays which is understandable. Then the doctor comes in and tells me I need to get all my wisdom teeth out and then the hygienist says I need to get a gym cancer check done and then this guy at the front desk goes over the plan for a wisdom tooth removal which I could care less about because they don’t hurt and my soul purpose was to get a teeth cleaning which I NEVER received. I spent 2 hours in that clinic wasting my time and energy. Honestly if they just cleaned my teeth and done the x rays and consultation in 2 hours you all would’ve gotten 5 stars but the sales mindset is instilled into the workers therefore you all got a 1 star. Never will recommend any Aspen Dentals to anyone and will not be returning to get any services done.

0 stars if possible. First of all this franchise[Id call them a dental office, but that isnt what they are.] Did multiple procedures on my wife. Every time we went in they told us they had ran our insurance and that we owed x amount. We paid in full. Each procedure[cavity filling and wisdom teeth removal] was done improperly. For the cavities they drilled too closely to the nerves and are now stating that they need another 1200 for root canals. For the wisdom teeth they forgot to put medicated gauze bandages into the sockets so my wife experienced 3 weeks of excruciating pain from dry socket as well as an infection. She went back to see if there was anything they could do and all that was available was some tylenol 3s and a get over it. We went to another family-owned dentist practice that isnt run out of a strip mall and they criticized nearly every move this mcdonalds of a dentist office pushed our way.Thats not even the worst of it. We just got a bill from our insurance for 2000. We contacted our insurance and the mcdonalds dentist office didnt send in to medical insurance only dental,and in no way were we covered fully except 900. We called ASSpen dental and they said it is not their job to bill to our insurance.Upon further review this mcdonalds pseudo-dentist franchise has had a class action lawsuit filed against it. We will be reaching out to our attorneys office, notifying CoC and BBB. This office disenfranchises those in serious pain and taxes them for improper treatment and ill-gotten gains. Shame on you ASSpen dental.

This was the first time my husband went to this office and we were really impressed. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. They took the time to explain all the options regarding dentures for my husband and the prices with and without insurance. They also contacted our carrier while we were there to verify exactly what would be paid so there would be no surprises afterwards. The follow-up visits were also good experiences and we will continue using Aspen Dental for all our dental needs!

I’m a new patient with a lot of dental problems. The first visit was a breeze, seen on time, got everything explained to me, initial exams done and financials explained in detail. I left impressed. The second visit was a disappointment though. Left work early to be on time but still here at the waiting room, waiting for an hour, lots of time to write a review. A case of first impression for me then downhill from there? Hopefully not. I’d still recommend this practice to anyone. Lots of nice people.

I am a cancer patient and had my bottom teeth damaged from radiation. I am in the process of shopping around for dentures and I thought I would try Aspen Dental. The trip(about half hour drive)was well worth it. I have not committed to Aspen yet but I found the experience to be friendly and professional. Plenty of options with no pressure. The thought of same day dentures and the price being competitive is a big plus. I would definitly recommend Aspen.

As a NEW patient, I scheduled a cleaning on Saturday morning. They took plenty of x-rays. but instead of a hygienist coming in to clean my teeth the dentist came in and started addressing the concerns in my mouth. I asked when they were going to clean my teeth & was informed that there is no hygienist in on Saturday mornings. So now I have to schedule another appointment for cleaning & I have no idea if my insurance will pay for the 2nd appointment.

Don’t go here! If you do get pre determine from insurance and watch the numbers. Classic dentures suck, (hard and soft reline on same day?) they want you to get expensive set.plenty of other places down the street to go to. They don’t like answering questions with straight answers.

I had some tooth pain bothering me really bad that I needed a tooth pulled. I was able to schedule an appointment on 11-2-17 for 445 pm at 130 pm. This looked promising. So at 420 pm I arrive for my appointment to fill out paperwork for my new patient appointment. The guy behind the desk acted like he didnt want to be bothered. I did not feel very welcome by the receptionist. Then the assistant came out did panoramic x-rays and traditional x-rays. Then the dentist comes in looks at my teeth and tells me whats wrong. Then I am thinking good can we just pull it? Then the gum doctor comes in looks at my gums then talks to me about the health of my gums. By this time it had already been an hour and no tooth has been pulled or even discussed. Then I was brought into the managers office to talk about financing. Then the manager tries to sell my on an electric tooth brush. Then we get to my bill and I was told that it was going to be over a thousand dollars to have every service that they wanted to sell me on done. The manager was too pushy to sell me on these services and I ended up leaving after about 2 hours. So I drove 30 minutes on my way home from work with a tooth that was killing me and left 2 hours later with no relief. I was treated like a consumer instead of a patient. If you want to pay a fortune for a wonderful smile this is the place for you. If you have an emergency with a painful tooth avoid this place. You get treated like a consumer instead of a patient. Will never go back or recommend.

I scheduled an appointment online because I had a cavity causing me great amounts of pain. I then got a call the day of my appointment saying they were understaffed and would likely be unable to see me anywhere near the scheduled time. When I told the person who called that I was in a lot of pain and had a visible cavity the response I got was well well let the dentist assess that.I then told them I could either get in during my lunch break since I can be flexible with when I leave or I could come in at 8am before work. I was told that there wouldnt be enough time during a lunch break without being asked how long I had. When I asked about an early appointment I was told I would have to wait a week even though I was in a great amount of pain and I made that clear to them. Additionally I received no recommendations on where else I could go and this phone call was very obviously to get my appointment cancelled.Not only would I never schedule an appointment with this office again, I would activley dissuade anyone from using them if this is how they treat patients in pain.

I havent been to the dentist in about 7 years, for obvious reasons - no one likes the dentist. I was having some tooth pain and my insurance offered this place as the first appt available in my area. I went and not only was it a good dentist visit, it was a good experience overall. the moment I walked in Cara at the front desk was bubbly and took care of getting my ins to assign me to that office, Amanda did my xrays and explained everything I was looking at, even cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood. Jazzmine explained all the billing and out of pocket expenses before any treatment was given, she explained what was optional and what wasnt so I can make an informed decision and finally, Dr. Bo ended up having to pull a wisdom tooth, but even stayed late after hours to get it done and it was so quick I didnt even know it was done. now a day later Im tender but not sore and in 0 pain. They say going to the DMV or calling comcast lis like pulling teeth - I wish doing those things was as easy as actually getting a tooth pulled here.

This is the first time in 64 years I have ever had a pleasant experience in a dental office! My teeth are in miserable condition due to past bad experiences at dental care, and noyyt able to afford dental care. They took care of me immediately from the x-ray technician, was examined by the hygienist who explained my course of treatment thoroughly, and then Dr.Gomaa told me what he could do to restore my teeth. Rose and Carlee, the business managers, sat down with me and gave me very easy financial options,. Setting me up with a payment plan I can afford, and making my first appointments for next week to start my treatments. They were very knowledgeable about the process, and so nice and comforting to talk to. I recommend this office and staff to everyone!

Very pleasant experience great staff. I was there for 2nd opinion on 10k in work and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with there care plan offering. Dr Bo gave me a plan that is really what I was looking for compared to my current dentist recommendations. My only concern was the cost of two crowns which seemed high to me compared to what I was paying from another Careington 500 plan provider. If i can get this resolved I will use there services.One day later finance called and told me the wrong code was entered and the corrected and send new estimate. I will be using.Highly recommend nice team

From scheduling the appointment over the phone to getting the exam done, everyone was so nice, friendly, and welcoming! They all seemed genuine and knowledgeable. The prices for the services were a bit high but I guess thats to be expected without insurance. I would still recommend this place.

From the minute that I walked in the door I felt comfortable and I am one person who does not like going to the dentist it had been at least 10 years since I had gone to a dentist and the staff is so professional and the doctor is a sweetheart he is so funny and he makes you feel like you are a star Aspen Dental Office in Algonquin is the best office Ive ever been in I love the staff I love the convenience they cater to your availability and my entire experience has been great

Had a denture made for my mom, it is such poor quality that the teeth started falling out after just one year. Of course they offer no warranty after 1 year(just for 6 months) and had to pay for the repairs. They constantly change their doctors, which are mainly young and unexperienced (so you can tell it is not a good place to work for). Very unreliable. Would not recommend.

I had an appointment to get my wisdom teeth out. My mom on the day of the surgery called them and the guy in the front said that I was allowed to eat and drink on the day of so I did. When we arrived and I went into the room the assistant and the Dr. we’re both confused on why I ate and drank so I was not allowed to have as much anesthesia for the surgery. I was then fully awake as the surgery was almost done and I was in severe pain as I felt my teeth being pulled out of my mouth. If the man in the front office knew how to do his job I wouldn’t have been in severe pain and crying on that operating table. I will not be returning to Aspen Dental for any future appointments.

We had an excellent experience. My mother-in-law is 80 and has dementia. She lost her bottom set of dentures in June 2018. It took 4 visits at with my regular dentist to receive the replacement. The replacement was quite uncomfortable for her and she could not grasp the idea of wearing them to break them in, so sadly the dentures were useless to her. When I heard about Aspen Dental I thought this might be what we were looking for in that they could evaluate the dentures and hopefully make them more comfortable on the spot being that they have a lab onsite. It turned out to be a minor adjustment and they didn’t even charge us for the visit which was very gracious seeing as my mom-in-law does not have dental insurance also she can be very hard to understand and emotional. The staff was very professional and friendly in every way. Thank you all so much.

If it would let me post with no stars i would have. Worst experience. Went in with pain in my lower left jaw. Got a nice lecture about dental care was told all 4 wisdom teeth had to be removed and could not do it for another week. Asked if i could just have the one pulled that was causing pain was told no then couldnt schedule without having a deep cleaning done first. With dental insurance they wanted $1700 to get it done. Went to another dentist they will pull the problem tooth for $62 and will work out payment for other work. All Adpen could do is say yeah... Sorry.

I would highly recommend this dental office. Each and every person I had contact with was professional, caring and showed true concern for me and for my dental needs. I was particularly impressed with the assistance I received from Rose and Shannon in processing my program for treatment. Additionally, the xray tech was very efficient and quick in progressing through the various xrays necessary. The dentist I spoke with, Dr Brier, was also very knowledgeable and showed concern for my dental needs and finding the best ways to move forward on my program. I am not one who has spent a lot of time in a dentist office in the past and at 66 yrs old, was very apprehensive about the process. It could not have been made easier or more understandable than it was as provided by this great group of people. I would recommend using this office without hesitation.

I had the most amazing experience at aspen dental; Ashley was a wonderful tech and made me very comfortable during the X-rays, Dr. Rosales explained everything thoroughly and made sure that I understood what how the procedure was going to go, and Spencer was extremely helpful with all the finances!

I went today for my first visit after not going anywhere for a few years. I was very nervous but for no need. From walking in to leaving everyone was so nice and informative. They gave great details and explained what work was needed. They were also able to fit me in for a cleaning not long after going through the numbers for the work I needed. I never felt rushed or uncertain or like I had to agree to any services right away. They also made sure to check that I was ok multiple times throughout my visit.
