I am a professional and work with children diagnosed with autism. When I need to make a referral to another behavior analyst, Meghan is at the top of my list. Meghan and her team are professional and thorough, and also make sure kids have fun during their treatment! I would recommend ABS to any family looking for a personalized and comprehensive ABA experience.

My wife and I absolutely appreciate Meghan and her team! Our son has come a long way from where he first started. Their custom therapy sessions were spot on for him and they worked! His behavior, social skills, routines, and even school habits have greatly improved. It was a lot of work and we couldnt have done it without them. I absolutely recommend ABS and we miss them! We have since moved, but we always wish we couldve brought them with us! They were awesome!

I am not a consumer, but a competitor company in NOVA. Not too long ago, a therapist reached out to my company hoping we could help with a child that they couldnt work with. We didnt have availability, so I immediately thought of ABS and reached out because I knew that they provide quality services. They werent able to help out either but I never hesitate to refer people to ABS.

I highly recommend Autism Behavioral Solutions LLC! Megan the owner and BCBA worked very closely with my son. He was 4 years old at the time and was making almost no progress with the extremely expensive autism therapy provider we were using for almost a year full time, for 5 days a week therapy. We very much went into debt to try and provide our son the best early intervention we could. After almost a year of very little progress, I sought out a new provider. This is when I was recommended Megan. She was very thorough with her assessment, recommendation and therapy plan. I showed her the plan my son previously was on and she very quickly (and accurately) pointed out that it looked to her that my 4 year old high functioning child had just been given a copy and paste program that look to be for around a 2-3 year old low functioning child. She said it was no wonder he was not making any progress, even with 3 hours a day, 5 days a week intensive therapy. Everything they were doing with my son was boring and repetitive with almost no new goals. He was given no room for grown. This was sickening news to me because I had been working and pushing his former BCBA and shut down at every chance, and snubbed and treated like my views didn’t matter. $40k down there drain.Once we started using Megan’s services my son very quickly started to perk up and pay attention finally. She not only helped him during therapy sessions but referred an amazing child’s karate program that my son could attend for socialization, if we were interested. We definitely were! My son went to that location and was treated amazingly by the staff and other children. The staff made sure everyone was respectful to one another and inclusive. It was an amazing opportunity for him. Additionally, Megan would give educated advice on schooling options or issues that would arise and how best to handle them for my son.My son is now a very well developed, talkative and socially engaged 9 year old. Megan still checks in on him to see how he’s doing. She truly is an amazing provider whom I highly recommend!A lesson I learned the hard was is that some people view special needs therapy as a way to just make money, while others work in that field because their heart wants to help and make a difference in children’s lives. I am very thankful for ABS LLC and the work Megan did for my son. I refer her to anyone I know that may need her services, with confidence she will be a great addition to the childs future!

When you leave the Doctor’s office with an autism diagnosis, your life just came crashing down. Life does not really change except now you just feel more lost and unsure of what to do next. Your world becomes scary and unknown. Meghan has, and still is, helping us navigate this new world. At the time of my daughter’s diagnosis, I reached out to 14 Autism Behavioral companies. Meghan was the only one to return my call, she talked to me for an hour on the phone without knowing my insurance or if she would be able to take us on as a client. Luckily, Meghan entered our lives and has truly been a blessing. She has brought my daughter so far in many ways. From feeding, potty training, sleeping habits, transitions, pretend play, and speaking. After being with us for two years, Meghan is not just my daughter’s behavioral analyst, she is also our cheerleader, coach, and truly a member of our family. She never gives up with her, or us, and she truly cares about my daughter. I have called Meghan in tears for good and bad days. I thank her for being able to take my daughter to a Disney ice show where I just cried because I was doing something that I never thought I had a chance to enjoy. This is not just a profession to Meghan, this is truly a talent and gift. It is who she is and I have never been more thankful to have someone in our lives.

ABS has been extremely helpful to our family. Our son was diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder when he was in second grade. He has always had a “temper” but during his second-grade year, his behavior got to be too much for us to handle. We needed help and guidance, both my husband and myself and my son. ABS taught our son strategies to cope when his emotions get the better of him and taught my husband and I to see the signs of when his temper was going to get the best of him. As a family (including ABS), we came up with key words that helped my son slow down and find a better solution to what was bothering him. A few years later, working with ABS, our family has adapted to age appropriate strategies for our son to cope with his emotions. We love ABS and will continue to work with them as our son moves through his teenage years. I cannot recommend them enough.

I met Meghan (the owner & BCBA) a year ago when I thought something might be wrong with my daughter - she was not speaking at all! I thought there was a slight chance that she might have autism. My daughters lack of communication skills lead her to violently bang her head on the floor because she couldnt communicate her basic needs - water, food, etc. My husband and I didnt always understand what she needed. At the first session, Meghan had her signing 3 words. After a few months, Meghan taught my daughter to sign 20 words and also taught her to make more of an effort to speak. More importantly, she taught me and my husband how to motivate my daughter to speak. She had a ton of tools in her toolbox for us. She also significantly reduced the violent behaviors and frustrations my daughter had. She also helped me navigate the system to figure out what was going on with my daughter. We found out later that my daughter was suffering from Apraxia. Meghan is truly GIFTED at ABA! I recommend her to everyone!

Meghan and her staff were there for us when we were grasping at the end of our rope. Our son was diagnosed with ASD at six and had a major regression. ABA referral was given. Before even becoming her clients during the interview process, Meghan was willing to spend her time and energy giving me the direction of how to help my son and my family best in the moments of crisis. After becoming clients, Meghan was vigilant in her oversight of our treatment plan and her staff. On one very bad night, she helped our family through an elopement situation and spent two hours coaching us on how to improve the situation. Meghan’s knowledge and insight, along with her staff’s consistency helped us to move forward with my son’s behaviors. She truly was the biggest blessing given to us at the exact time we needed her.

Absolutely LOVE the work and tremendous care that Autism Behavioral Solutions - Meghan, Aymara, and Sneha - have provided to our little one. In a few short months, we have seen her grow tremendously. She went from knowing only a few words and making minimal eye contact to knowing hundreds of words, saying hi and bye, asking for things. She used to gesture all the time and pull us to show us what she wanted. Now she will say I want milk, I want open door. When we ask her a question she will say yes or no. I cant say enough good things about Autism Behavioral Solutions. Early intervention works! We are truly blessed to have these wonderful therapists working with our child.

My son was diagnosed at 3yrs old with having high functioning Autism. Not knowing what to do or what an ABA therapist was, I was shocked and confused. I searched for local therapist and came across Meghan. She was a one man shop and the time but immediately made me and my son feel like a priority. She came to my house to meet us and I fell in love. She knew just what to say to him, how to get and keep his attention and more importantly taught me and my family. After working with my baby for a few years he now makes eye contact, he speaks clearly, he has lost many of his stemming behaviors and is a thriving 7yr old in an inclusive 2nd grade class. I owe her more than I can ever repay her. She is forever a part of my family.
