I was outsourced to QTC for a VA C&P appointment. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and made me feel welcomed and very comfortable. Unfortunately, for my appointment sake, the Doctor was the complete opposite. First, when I entered the room he didnt even look up from his computer to greet me. He never asked how I was doing or any typical medical questions you receive for a initial visit from a doctor. He only asked me two questions the entire appointment regarding my claim, and when I answered he never looked away from his computer to see where I was pointed and never once acknowledged any of my responses. He was completely aloof and looked uninterested the entire appointment and before I could barely sit down he told me that the appointment was over. While the appointment was disappointing, to say the least, nothing upset me more than the Doctors actions as I was leaving. After he told me the appointment was over and while I was still in the room, he turned away from me and got on his phone. He didnt have the decency to at least pretend he was interested and wait until I left the room to get on his phone. I know the Doctors name, but I will not mention it because I do not want a defamation suit filed against me.I am a reasonably young person and in pretty good health, so I can overcome this type of treatment. My concern is for the older Vets who fought valiantly for this country and are subjected to this mistreatment. If you do not care to assess Vets then please disqualify yourself. Vets and our elderly deserve better and it is shameful that the VA would send us to a medical group that would treat people this way.

These people hire doctors like John C. Barry and he is suppose to give 2nd opinion. Appointment was 5 minutes no measurements he lies. Also Beware Of Him If You Are a female patient.# METOO. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAME OF THEMSELVES FOR EMPLOYING HIM.

I arrived for my VA appointment right after a decent snowfall. As I walked up a gentlemen informed me to watch my step because the ground was slick and that salt will be put down shortly. He even held the door for me as I was using my cane.My appointment was quick and easy. The front desk person got me signed in, asked me covid questions and took my temp. My meetings with the physical and audio Drs. (sorry i cant recall your names) were professional and went as well as possible. I hope I never have to visit another VA facility for rating but if I did I wouldnt be too mad if it was this place.

Im highly disappointed in my assessment. I looked at my questionnaire, and some of the questions were never asked of me by the doctor. Im disappointed in the neglect to assess my condition correctly and honestly. I am in pain every day and mentioned that to my provider, and he marked in my box that I wasnt in pain, although he couldnt do my assessment for my vertigo due to my pain. He never addressed how my condition impacted my job and just marked” No.” He didnt thoroughly address my pain location, which stated lower, but I have upper pain in my hands, elbows, shoulders, and neck. This is supposed to be a safe place for veterans, and now I lost all trust.

I tried to get a re-valuation for my VA claim, I was sent to QTC Medical Group for re-valuation. All three of my appointments were cancelled and I was to call back and re-schedule. The first appointment, the doctor cleared his schedule and nobody informed me until the day of my scheduled appointment. The second appointment, the nurse cancelled all of her afternoon appointments, and I was informed to reschedule again. This last appointment, I received a phone call confirming my appointment on Friday, however as soon as I checked in for my appointment, the receptionist said that the nurse was not coming in and I had to call and re-schedule my appointment. I rate QTC Medical Group as a zero, however you have to select a star.

My appointment was for 8:00 AM. The office didn’t even open till just after 8:00 AM and they informed me that my provider was still 45 minutes away. If I were 45 minutes late for my appointment, we all know how that would have played out.....providers should be held accountable just like patients. I understand NOVA and DC traffic is horrible, but if you choose to live far away you should account for traffic. I drove over an hour today, but left early enough to ensure I wouldn’t be late. Patients shouldn’t be waiting 45+ minutes on doctors when they are the first appointment of the day.The staff in the office is nice, but the lack of professionalism and accountability is ridiculous. Where is the leadership?

I was outsourced to this company to get my VA claim reviewed, it took me three days of being transferred to schedule an appointment to finally being told they couldn’t schedule me any appointments because nobody has reviewed my case! That was 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard back from anyone! This is beyond frustrating!
